We booked 2 nights and my hubby decided to stay another night more. Ms Grace was very helpful in assisting us with the room extension and “making up” the room. The aircon in our room was very strong. The buffet breakfast was great too. Hope that the gym could have more billiard table and amenities as we queued up to play for the game and some balls are missing. Air conditioning in the gym wasn’t strong too.

Love the people at the front desk, they are always so happy and friendly. Check-in took a bit longer than usual but the staff were very apologetic. I stayed in the Urban room at level 12 facing the highway and river. To my surprise it was rather quiet I can’t really hear the traffic. Morning breakfast at level 6 was pretty crowded. The next morning I just went down earlier and it was great. The girls at breakfast were always happy to welcome us… keep it up 👍

Everyone in my group loved it. My kids loved it so much. Clean, spacious. We arrived late but they were very accommodating with the set up of the extra bed. My only gripe was there's no extra key card so while the kids were resting in the room, I had to ask for assistance from front desk to help me get into my room. N I ran alot of errands 😂 but the staff were very nice. Aircon wasn't very cold for a new hotel wish we could have increase the speed of the ceiling fan.

What I want to say is it the ballroom is very spacious and comfort. The room ia a sound proof. The food is very good and deliciuos. It is variety and very tastefully. The High tea also very good especially a mee goreng mamak. Overal is very good.

The location of the hotel is not too far from immigration checkpoint. I like the spacious big room and toilet come with a bathtub. The only not satisfy of the the hotel is the wall and furniture look a bit old, not furnished new. There is no charging points near the bed. They have facilities of night pub, Spa and a mini pool in the hotel. Hotel breakfast is traditional lesi lemak, goreng , curry etc...not international food. Overall great stay for a cheap day trip.

To begin with, I have a brother who is currently serving quarantine at Hotel Ramada, so I know exactly what are the two hotels offering and its differences. Nevertheless, my stay with Crystal Crown has been a decent one which I am grateful for. I will also be honest with you that there are quite number of areas which need to be improved, not only for the wellbeing of the next batch of guests, but also for the benefit of your staff members. Hence, I would like to provide some constructive suggestions. 1) Communications a) Clarity on the rules of food / items delivery. The RELA briefed us on the arrival day, but it was unclear as we were seated outdoor. A suggestion is to include pictures in your document. See the attached photo for illustration. Besides pasting the rules at the entrance, you could also print it out in black and white for every room, together with the welcome letter. I believe that once the rules are spelled out clearly, the guests will manage their expectations accordingly. b) Distribute the 14 days necessities (e.g. mineral waters, trash bag, toiletries) at one shot. This is also a good practice of Hotel Ramada. Not only the guests can ration the items based on their needs, it also saves your hotel staff the trouble of attending to the needs of the guests at all time. c) Discontinue the whatsapp group. I understand the intention of setting up the group is for emergency purpose. But we all clearly know that this is not the case. Unfortunately, the chat group becomes a platform of all sorts of stuff: from requesting the daily necessities, clarifying the same delivery rules, asking the staff to pick up and send food / items, to spamming the group of 198 people with complaints and feud, or even turning the group into personal chat room. I believe once point a) & b) are sorted out, there is less need to use the whatsapp group as the main channel of communication. We can always use the phone in our room to call the front desk for additional requests or attend to emergency matters. Respecting the guests’ privacy is very much appreciated. 2) Dietary Preferences a) Make the effort to collect guests’ dietary needs and be committed to attend to it. This is a basic etiquette and fundamentals of the hospitality industries. Peanut and seafood allergies can be severe and deadly. The health of people with medical conditions (e.g. diabetes) could be affected. Not to mention the vulnerable such as the elderly, young children and pregnant women. We are human after all, hence the importance of mutual respect – treat the guests the way you want to be treated. b) Look after the well-being of the vegetarians. I would like to speak up for the vegetarians, especially those who practise strict vegetarianism. They cannot to take onions, garlic, chives, green onions and leeks, as it cause anger and desi

Consistent with brand standards, bulk-size amenities are provided here at the Holiday Inn Johor Bahru City Centre and while I do appreciate the positive impact these initiatives have on the environment, the body wash bottles located by the shower area were empty when I checked-in to the room. The opaque bottles definitely make it hard for housekeeping to check whether a top-up is required so this is quite certainly a pain point for everyone. Affordable and modern rooms in a great location make Holiday Inn Johor Bahru City Centre a great choice for travellers from Singapore without private transport.

Check in was quick and easy. Had a deposit of RM 100.00 paid and the Front Desk explained the details. Room was very spacious indeed, clean and neatly arranged. The interior is dated but no doubt everything works fine for a night stay. Traffic going out of the vicinity can be a challenge as there is a ferry terminal next to the hotel, and an immigration check is required on all vehicles leaving the area. It took about 15-20 minutes as only 1 officer was on duty. Nonetheless, I would say it is worth the price!

Room was spacious and clean. Given us the highest floor. There was a planned power outage exercise from 1000Hrs to 1300Hrs, which they should have informed during or before the booking. Due to this we had no power and was inconvenient. Location is quite far from eateries and all.

This short staycation was really amazing and relaxing. Our room is so spacious..love that even though it’s a garden view, we can still see the sea. Room service is efficient. They even gave me a cake for my birthday. It was thoughtful. Breakfast is a bit too crowded and we had to queue on our first day. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. We will definitely coming back. J&L

Was staying at top floor giving us spectacular view. The room is spacious & clean, more like a homestay rather than hotel. We stayed 2 nights, there was games organised by hotel. It was so fun! There are 4 restaurants , 2 with alcohol served, and 2 without. The price at the Teratai restaurant is quite good with reasonable price. We ordered grab food, the rider send directly to our room instead certain hotel which we need to pickup at lobby. Downside is the distance to water park (im staying at block Q) is quite far, and due to tooo many people, the pool water is not so clean 😅 But dont worry as we still can play at the beach behind lobby or another 2 big pools 🤩 Will be staying here again? Definitely!

Cleaningless Acceptable but can be much better. Perhaps it due to peak season hence most is not done properly. During my stay, the power tripped twice which is quite horrible. Location Quite good. Within 15mins drive have quite many nice seafood. Can access to beach within 10mins walk too. Service They double charged tourism tax and sales service charge despite paid in trip.com. Luckily my relative is sharp enough to notice else we would had to double paid it. Informed them the day previously, they say will handle but till check out not yet done and have to inform again. Waterpark Peak season price is on a much higher side compared to others in went. Not much rides and the lazy river is dirty filled with many dead leaves and flowers. Ride queue still acceptable. Life guard unsure of schedule of large wave and wasted so much of our time for the bigger wave. Much more information should be provided without us asking. Do consider placing a large clock so we can have a look on the timing since most not wearing watch or bringing phone. Need much more proper maintenance on the wave pool due to bad wear and tear. Breakfast Need much more improvement on the food selection. Its more like a 4 star standard compared to 5 star.

Overall it was not a happy experience. First day check in we ended up waiting for 1hr to get our room. Room was ok just some stain here and there. Out of 3 towel only 1 was clean. Other 2 have stain and even the bed. Is not a obvious stain so will still ok with it until bathing time, each time someone bathe the water pipe seem to be blocked, Doesn’t flow properly. Breakfast buffet was rather disappointing, option to choose was range but flavour not very nice. Me and my friends felt only the harsh brown & nugget is nice. Remaining soso only. Gotten more disappointed when we go back hotel room and the card sensor wasn’t working. The front counter ask someone to help us check and he said the sensor spoil need install a new wan but they didnt do it after we left but when we still in the room. Felt that the service this time wasnt as what the review said might be cos the hotel was fully booked. (Could be cos holiday) but still felt a rather disappointing trip.

From check in to check out all was a breeze, staff was friendly, very accommodating and helpful. Only downside was their cleanliness. Need to upkeep and improve in that area. Breakfast spread was aplenty. Swimming pool great, but lots of sand in it, understandable as it is near to the beach. So far in my 3d2n stay it was safe. Nothing sus. Low crowd too, maybe sg holidays ending period. Overall a nice stay.

staff very respectful towards us especially the staff at guardhouse. room was spacious, comfy and clean. breakfast was great (7/10) because very few choice of drinks otherwise foods is delicious. then the beach view from the breakfast place (10/10).

Year end means holiday time for my little family. Arrived here quite early in the afternoon. Being promised that once the room is ready, the receptionist on duty will then give us a call, yet do assume that due to other urgent commitment and / or poor telecommunication coverage, it was no avail. (Disclaimer : my spouse got SMS informing that Maxis coverage will be temporarily affected at the current location, yet I never get one, although utilizing the very same provider) Just trying our luck to check in an hour early from prescribed time and viola! our room was readied accordingly. Room was adequately kept, small stains detected at the duvet, bidet sprayer malfunctioned. Not to be so fussy, we do embraced the imperfect condition accordingly. The room allocated to us in which purposely selected for sea view was nice. The hotel do situated not too far from other establishment. there is a residential area situated approximately 2km from the hotel, namely Taman Bayu Damai, in which do contained shophouses and basic necessity, if need do arise. Yet we did getting our daily doses of foods and other necessity down towards the south, in which nearer to Sungai Rengit. The foods readied at the hotel (in our case breakfast) were less then adequate in quality, but got nothing to complained about. Due to the time we have, we did embarked on sight seeing walkabout at the premises. Some of the attractions were abandoned, might be due to the ill effect of continuous MCO enforcement for the past 2 years. The beach was nice, but due to the timing of Monsoon, it will be not advisable to dwell into usual sea and beach activities too much. My two boys enjoyed their time playing with the sands, with much cautionary steps undertaken. Hopefully, as per my title of this review, time will heal this establishment, thus will be then enable them to offer their best package to prospectus guest.

We arrived late in evening but check in was smooth and easy. Place is quiet and peaceful, lake looked nice in the cooling morning. We got a garden view room so we couldn't really see much from the window. Cleanliness was ok at first but found other people's items left in the wardrobe not cleaned out, and thru the night, we found a lotttt of bugs and ants entering the toilet. Hot water also ran out and the water didn't drain very well it got flooded a bit within the night. Toilet door was also mouldy. Note that there isn't any hair dryer provided.

We are really satisfied and enjoy our holiday here. Spacious room and worth price. The shops are quiet far. After went to the mini zoo pengerang, we drop by at Batu Layar beach. Very recommended and suitable for family day. The kids really enjoyed the pool. We went to Resstoran Terapung Tanjung Belungkor for lunch.

Checking in was smooth, however the room (booked 2 deluxe room) given to us was different from previous despite paying the same amount as last time. Paid for (deluxe) but was given (normal double room). Was told by reception because the deluxe room is full so we were being ”downgraded.” Luckily, receptionist was able to change 1 of the the room for us (back to deluxe) when we told her that we found a small cockroach in the room.

Worth the price! Aircon is new! Toilet water is high pressure with water heater! Overall is clean but the bedsheet is dirty with stain mark. Beside is restaurant and booming song during dinner time, ask reception to deal with then and miraclelly they understood:)happy stay! No lift, have to climb stairs. Book on the spot only with rm79!

Cheapest Hotel you can book in JB, With free breakfast. Staff are friendly, free breakfast not bad coz it’s FREE :) Room was clean, will rebook this once we go back to JB! Well recommended

I travel for business, because I have training at JPFSA, so this is the most decent hotel in the area. This is a small town not far from Johor Bahru, the capital state. Easy to get Grab Service and a lot of eating place. There a bar and restaurant next to the hotel, Japanese Restaurant Opposite & Bakery opposite the hotel. Room is spacious, bright lighting and decent decoration, there no wardrobe. It's ok for 1 or 2 nights. Quite safe for woman traveller. Breakfast can be better. They only serve coffee/tea with sandwiches and noodles/fried rice. Please dont set high expectation for breakfast. This area mostly office area for freight forwarders and other small businesses.

The room is clean with good aircon and hot water. It is very affordable (but can be a little far from city during peak hours). Worth it!

It is my 3rd day of stay in this resort and it exceeded my expectation. I rented a 5 room villa and it is superbly maintained, comfy and clean. It is located just next to the golf course and the view is fantastic. At night you could hear the sound of insects with cool breeze. The staff here are helpful and courteous. We had dinner in the Club and most of the dishes are very good especially the duck 🦆 . Activities wise it caters to all age and personalities- we played tennis, table tennis, swimming pool with slide for kids. We’ll like try archery before leaving tomorrow. There are many other things here like table pool, gym, squash, horse riding, a small field for football and of course golf- we won’t have time for all these this time 😉. I will give a 5 Star ⭐️ rating for this resort in overall offerings, service and value. Keep it up Tg Puteri Golf Resort ⛳️ 👏👏

went there for an impromptu stay (& played with fireworks as it was the new year!), checking in took long as the staff was new but it is okay, the room was small but good for a night stay. Bedsheets had staining seen due to long usage but was comfortable. Towels had smell on them and smelled as though they did not dry enough. Toilet is okay however there are no toiletries provided. Hairdryer was attached to the wall. No complimentary drinks provided but had cups and you can get instant coffee made at the hotel lobby. Parking 🅿️ was okay as there were many lots but to park at your own risk. There is Aeon mall nearby, overall location is still acceptable.

The room is small, but okay for a short stay. Room had flies in it so cleanliness is 😅 otherwise service is good and there is no lift in the building/ no toothbrush provided. 🙂 Nearby got prata place which is cheap and affordable.
