Hotel Kumiai Inn

We really enjoyed our stay with a few minor exceptions. Unfortunately the TV in our room didn’t work eventhough it was connected to wifi. The phone in the room didn’t work so we had to use our personal phones. The shower head is a rainfall type, but the water sprayed out in all directions instead of straight down which made it a little tricky to shower. The rooms have a system in which the room key is required to have electricity in the whole room. If you take it off, everything turns off. That means you can’t leave things charging unless you get a second key? We also were told that we could check out later the day off, but that was not an option because the hotel was so booked. Even though there were a few icks, it was overall a nice place to stay. The staff are very friendly and respectful. The bed is comfortable, the sheets smell great, the rooms are very clean, and the building is beautiful! It has a 5ft pool and a small jacuzzi (no bubbles) just warmer water than the pool. Pool water is great temperature. There is also a spa and massage services on the very first floor! Overall a nice place and I’d recommend it!

Quartz Hotel & Spa

This is my second visit to the Quartz for medical tourism. The location is perfect in a nice part of town and the upper plaza has its own level connected to the New City Medical building and so medical offices are easily and safely accessible to guests. Pool and spa were well maintained and a beautiful garden is also out in the area. Within walking distance is a market and a ****** and little shops. Taxis are easy to find should you need. The rooms are exceptionally clean with comfortable robes and attention to details like lighting and temperature. The staff is pleasant and there is always someone who speaks English well enough to communicate. They are friendly and helpful. There is an upscale Spa and artist feel to the place. I will be back.

Booked a premier room and was very disappointed. Room gave my and my pal respitory problems. Found a dirty cup behind the bed. No fridge in room. Very small ice bucket . Too Toooo many kids in the pool so unable to use it. Location of my room was 150 meters from the lobby. No escaltor or elevator to get to second floor rooms. The rooms all need a make over. Rooms also have dark lights . Hotel was too cheap light hotel room properly. View was AWFUl and in an inner court room!!I would NOT return to this hotel. Not worth the money!

We went to los algodones for dental work (out first time). We were told by the dentist office that they had special rates here and the fact that we had 4 days of appointments we thought it would be good to stay nearby. We've never been here before. So we packed our things along with some food for the 4 days. They say they have a shuttle from the boarder parking but it's really just an employee using someone's car. The boarder police will inspect every bag/suitcase you have. It took a few minutes to get through all our stuff! Everyone else just had a small purse or waist pouch. The guard just waved them all past us. It was awkward to heft all this stuff down the streets trying to find our ride. We got to the hotel and the staff was very nice. BEWARE-a standard room doesn't have a fridge or a microwave. Luckily we could upgrade for about $15 more and get a deluxe room. Come to find out it only had a fridge. We were hoping to microwave some food to save cost. Only the suites have both a microwave and fridge. NO ICE FOR GUESTS- we were super bummed about no ice. In the end we found a hotel in Yuma for a few buck more ( Howard Johnson's ) with all amenities we wanted. We were happy to make the move to Yuma. The little restaurant by the hotel was very good!

For being a first timer the staff @ the front desk office was un professional. Weren’t organize & seem like they didn’t care. I didn’t receive the membership discount & was aware they where going to fix it when checking out which never happened..all they can do is give a discount for the next visit but having all the issue Im still thinking about it the room wasn’t clean at all specially the toilet seem like they forgot to scrub it & they forgot to put towels in too .. Idk very disappointed & the floor were dirty too maybe I got a room that was clean in a hurry to just book me in 🤷🏽‍♀️ & the mattress was super hard I woke up kinda sore 😫

Hotel Real del Rio
4.3/5113 Reviews
Positives: Good location in the Zona Rio area. The hotel felt safe and secure. The front desk are very friendly and speak good English. The other staff I had interactions with were also very friendly (cleaning staff, staff that deliver room service) The room service food is good and punctual. Negatives: The rooms are slightly modern, yet outdated. Rooms are lacking some basic amenities such as a fridge, coffee and desk space. The pillows are very uncomfortable and too large to properly sleep on, I had to make pillows out of towels. The beds are comfortable though. No outlets by the beds, the only outlets are on the opposite side of the room by the TV. The walls are paper thin, you can hear the TV from the adjoining room as if the TV in your room is on. Also, the doors are not sound proof, you can hear everything right outside your door. The hotel was undergoing construction which created a lot of noise throughout the day. The hotel should be cheaper for what it is, it should be around $50 instead of $70; therefore, I can't say the hotel is a great value. The hotel is undergoing renovations so perhaps it will be nicer once the renovations are complete and represent better value.
