"This branded hotel in Kyoto offers great value for money. Kyoto is home to many luxury hotels like Aman, Capella, and Park Hyatt, which can be quite pricey and are better suited for a staycation to truly immerse oneself in Kyoto's culture. For this one-night stay, I chose the Westin. It's a large, established five-star hotel. Although it's older, all the details are still very well-maintained. The hotel is within walking distance of Nanzen-ji Temple, and a short taxi ride to Kawaramachi Shijo and Kiyomizu-dera Temple. There's also a shuttle bus to Kyoto Station every hour at 10 and 40 minutes past, which is very convenient. I booked two rooms and they were assigned next to each other. They even gave us the rooms at 12 PM, and the rooms had balconies. The breakfast was plentiful and excellent, with many freshly prepared dishes. For a hotel of this caliber in Kyoto, the price is truly remarkable."

"In the cherry blossom season, the hotel is difficult to set, although the location is not quiet in the scenic area. It is the signal that does not work, using the Kyoto Tourism official website network. The complimentary breakfast and dinner are good and the taste is good."

Choose one of the best resorts in Miyazu and stay at the Mercure Kyoto Miyazu Resort & Spa. Close to Amanohashidate, which is considered among the best three viewpoints in Japan, the hotel overlooks the sparkling waters of Wakasa Bay, with miles of coastline to explore. At our resort hotel in Miyazu, you can enjoy one of the most tranquil areas of Kyoto, with a pool overlooking the sea, hot spring experiences, and an on-site buffet restaurant with views serving local and international cuisine.

"This is a large hotel that's very popular with locals. They offer buffet-style meals for both breakfast and dinner. The hot spring bath isn't very big, and the facilities feel a bit dated. Both sides of the hotel offer sea-view rooms. Check-in took a while, but they gave us a lot of snacks and free-flowing beer."

It is a very nice hotel with attentive staff! The hotel is about a 7 minutes walk from Kyoto station. It’s a very convenient place to stay if you’re catching an early train or arriving from a late one. I don’t know if I’d recommend it for a longer stay since the area is quite boring. There’s plenty of restaurants and shops within the station but they’re very crowded and more expensive. It’s also quite far away from the main sights of Kyoto, so for a longer stay I’d recommend staying downtown. The included room amenities are good but nothing special. There’s shaving kits, towels, haircare, skincare, tea, water, and yukata robes (the robes are not souvenirs). There’s a pool, a spa area, and a restaurant, which all have an additional fee. My room was clean, but I found some scuff marks on the walls and a crack in my bathtub. From Kyoto station you can see Kyoto tower but it’s not an amazing sight hahaha. It takes about 25 minutes to downtown Kyoto from the hote

My stay at the Hilton Kyoto was absolutely delightful. The hotel perfectly blends modern comfort with Japanese aesthetics; the design is minimalist yet refined. The room was spacious, well-lit, and impeccably clean, making for an excellent stay. Located in the heart of the city, it's right next to a subway station, and within walking distance of the Shijo shopping district and the dining streets along the Kamo River, offering unparalleled convenience for getting around, sightseeing, and shopping. It offers great value for money and comfort—highly recommended!

The location is just opposite Nijo Castle, within walking distance, very convenient. Kyoto is not big, very leisurely, and the hotel is generally good to the attractions. The front desk and lobby manager are good, their English is online, very international, especially the European and American guys hired, the communication is very smooth. The facilities in the room are also good, the breakfast is also great, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice machine is quite interesting.

Choosing a hotel during the peak season is a challenging task. I chose this place based on the overall credibility and value for money. The overall experience is good. It is not amazing, but it has some characteristics. The landscape design of the master is remarkable, and it is a good place to check in and take photos.
