We stayed this hotel due to its “famous” breakfast. But tbh, it is only a “acceptable” to me. The place is crowded and easily to bang into each other. I think it famous is due to they get to eat crab and ikura unlimited on such a valuable price. But the ikura and crab is only soso to normal. They serve cheese and ham as well. Bed and pillow is so hard to sleep. Multi level parking lots is just right behind the after with 1500¥ per day.

Very nice renovated room in double beds with nice view. Location is superb. Metro Susukino exit 4 with elevator therefore it is trouble free when I checked in with large luggages. Overall it’s beyond expectation stay.

2nd time staying here! You’ll be greeted by helpful staffs right before you enter the building, world class service all the way, they’ll even send you to the lift! The hotel breakfast buffet has an awesome spread, tried it our previous trip, made sure to book a room with breakfast again this time 🤤

A highlight is the daily free shuttle service to and from Sapporo Station. The breakfast buffet features a wide variety of fresh, delicious options. Rooms are spacious, complete with a two-seater sofa for added comfort.

By far the best hotel we have stayed in our first Hokkaido ski trip! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel, and I can’t compliment it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Andrea Antonio (I hope I spelled the name right!) who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. He even helped us arrange a lovely dinner and a traditional tea ceremony, which added such a special touch to our trip. The hotel itself is stunning, especially during the Christmas season! They had an incredible display in the lobby — a real cookie house, which was so impressive. Andrea told us it was built by their in-house pastry chef, and I can’t even begin to describe the level of detail in it. Truly an amazing work of art, and huge credit goes to those talented hands behind it. Our room was fantastic — the highlight being the automatic blinds that you could control just by tapping our room card! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless with a luxurious bathtub. Though we didn’t get to use the tub (since we were enjoying the onsen), it was a nice touch. Speaking of the onsen, it was a real treat! We loved spending time there, though there was a small hiccup when the water ran out after 11pm. It wasn’t a major issue for us, but it would’ve been nice if it had been available for a little longer. Overall, the service was impeccable, the room was fantastic, and the onsen was super relaxing. I would definitely stay here again if we’re ever back in Sapporo!

We stayed here for one night in the South Building, a Japanese style superior room. Overall, I would recommend this to someone who's wanting to experience all that Noboribetsu has to offer in one resort and doesn't mind some level of commercialisation at the expense of foregoing some Japanese Ryokan authenticity. This resort is staffed by a lot of foreigners, and they have clear signage and instructions in different languages for foreigners. Some complain of the rude service here but I think it's reciprocal - if you treat others with respect, you receive respect in return. They also took the opportunity to maximise profits by offering extras / additional experience at a cost, which is not necessarily a bad thing as you just decide if you want to pay extra or not for extra experience. The highlight was obviously the Grand Bath, which is massive. It was crowded when we stayed here but still manageable. Lots of options and magnificent view. We wanted Kaiseki style meals but as it was the New Year Eve, we had to settle for buffet meals for both dinner and breakfast. But they did make a mini Vegetarian set for us as we couldn't enjoy a lot of the dinner dishes. The futon was just so comfortable! We slept like babies throughout the night. Otherwise, the room itself was clean and spacious.

My son was down with influenza and it is through them we manage to pay a 2nd visit to children hospital that take in foreigners. The first one wasn’t that effective as it is an A&E with no children doc to prescribe controlled ***** for a 4 year old as i was told. My special thanks to the hotel staff and really appreciate their help and support. In all my years of travelling for business and leisure, this is top notch customer service that makes a huge difference to receiving customer and guests. Parking - 2000 yen for 2 days but note extra charges if you exceed 12pm. We pay 800 yen for 2 more hours of parking.

Hotel is near the subway station. Got a free room upgrade and the room was very spacious. Breakfast was great, beds were comfortable and staff were polite and helpful. Will definitely stay there again.

Hotel is conveniently located next to JR train station and above Aeon Mall for plenty of food choices. We actually came by car and parking is a flat 800Yen paid to reception and they will issue you a parking ticket which allows for multiple entries during your stay. Breakfast is basic, breakfast area is actually one of the restaurants in the mall.

Staff not everyone nice, some long face when we asked questions. Pillows & bed not comfortable and no choice of Pillow to change, my neck got very painful. Need to check in by ourselves by taping computer monitor. Water tap & sink facing bed, very strange but not a big problem. Location very convenient and several convenient stores around. No private car park but public car park very closed, good for driving travelers. Space enough for 2 pax and lighting is good. Very big shower room with a small chair, good for elder/handicapped travelers.

Great place! Really big compared to other hotels in Sapporo/big city. I really love sofa. When I arrived, exhausted from a long drive and a long queue of Sushiten, I checked in at the hotel and fell a sleep on this sofa until it’s late at night!!! I love that there is a 7-11 connected to the hotel which you can use your keycard to open another side of the store.

Convenient location. JR station across the street, drugstore just right next door & Hakodate morning market behind. Nice view from the room. And plus point for Conan movie fans as it’s the hotel where Conan & friends stayed in the latest movie!

very big room. Excellent location, near to JR station only 2mins walking distance! Hakodate train is near, only 5 minutes walking distance. Many outstanding restaurants are nearby, like Sushi Soup begirama, Flower see sushi. Highly recommend to choose this hotel although room cleansing services are provided once every three days

Last time I came to Hakodate, I stayed at the famous La Vista Hakodate Annex Hotel (not the one in Hakodate Bay). The experience was very good. However, because the itinerary was a bit rushed this time, I didn't book La Vista. I temporarily chose Century Marina, which has a good reputation. The location is right next to La Vista and is also in the Kanemori Warehouse Group. It takes about 7 minutes to get there from the JR station. Downstairs is the Hakodate Morning Market. The feature here is that guests can choose their favorite aromatherapy and pillows that they feel comfortable with before checking in. There are many choices of aromatherapy and pillows, each with a large row, and there is always one suitable for you. Aromatherapy can be placed next to the pillow to help sleep. La Vista is more famous for breakfast, and I didn't expect Century Marina to be quite good. The variety is very rich and the ingredients are top-notch. During the peak breakfast time, there will be a queue for calling numbers. Many Hakodate-limited ones must not be missed. Beer and champagne are provided, and coffee is from the local brand Meiling, which can be taken away when you leave. The open-air hot spring faces Mount Hakodate, and the scenery is not much different from La Vista. There are indoor and outdoor hot springs. The outdoor one is of course not to be missed, but it will be closed if it rains, so be aware of this. Take an open-air bath while looking at Mt. Hakodate and the streets of Hakodate, and then have a spa after coming out, and the fatigue of the journey will disappear. By the way, the lotion here is particularly easy to use, a local brand, the lotion is very easy to spread, and has a good moisturizing effect. It is sold in the store downstairs for 2,300 yen. It is recommended not to miss it. I searched the entire network but couldn't find it.

Very near to JR Hakodate is walking distance. In winter be careful when you walk because sometimes walking on the ice slippery. We enjoy staying at Tokyu Stay, our bedroom facing Hakodate City Seikan Train Ferry Memorial Museum Mashū-maru. We also can see christmas tree at Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse - Bay Hakodate from our bedroom.The hotelhave vending machine and ice at 17 floor. Enjoy creme brulle that bought at Hakodate station in the bedroom.

Nice room with mountain view. The breakfast is superb. Hotel has parking but with a fee. Very close to shopping and several points of interests including the cable car station

Breakfast has very good selection but a lot of people, we ate seafood rice here and felt great! Parking overnight is 1000 yen only for hotel guest, it works for us. We did not move the car after we checked in. We walk to the foothill of the mountain, took that rope way to enjoy the night view of Hakodate. We walk around the area most of the time.

Please read my last review to see how the situation is. I can only say that you should keep your eyes open. It is absolutely impossible to get four stars. The air conditioner in the house is just for decoration. Although the problem was solved in the end, I reluctantly don't want to give a bad review for the sake of giving face. So that's it.

I recently stayed at Hotel Resol Hakodate during a trip to Hakodate, Japan, and I was very impressed with my experience. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city, within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, and shops. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's breakfast, which was simply delicious. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, including both Japanese and Western- style dishes. I particularly enjoyed the freshly made omelets, the crispy bacon, and the perfectly cooked rice. The coffee was also excellent, which is always a plus in my book.

We stayed two nights, one room only and one with dinner and breakfast. Overall satisfactory experience 1) superb view of public onsen at top floor facing the sea 2) good buffet breakfast with nice seafood collection 3) very good dinner set (we upgrade from buffet which is the general option) 4) one of the newer onsen hotels in 湯之川 opened in 2017 only. Will recommend !

Conveniently located near Hakodate station, morning market, and food streets. I could also easily get to the attractions in Hakodate via the nearby tram and buses. The room was very clean and had everything I needed for my stay. The staff could also communicate well in English and were very friendly. Thanks for the nice stay!

The staff at the reception speaks fluent English, which is good. Sth dramatic happened after I checked in. Somehow my suitcase cannot be unlocked,though I knew the key number. So I had to call reception for help, luckily they do have the tool to open the suitcase, but I was told to wait because someone else were using it and I was supposed to be called after the reception got the tool. Waited whole night long, with no phone call, and had to check out the next morning with my broken suitcase. So if you find your suitcase cannot be opened, go find reception immediately or u might not get the chance to use the tool, haha

As a Dormy Inn Premium, the food was excellent. Breakfast had a good spread of fresh sashimi and other traditional japanese options. The public bath was well maintained and as always the free ramen and ice cream round up a great day. The location is just across the Otaru JR Station and a 10 minute walk to the Otaru Canal.

Good location next to Aeon mall, inter connected so as not to walk in the open in harsh weather. Nice, clean room with lovely Ocean view. Good breakfast spread and friendly staff. Will stay again if in Otaru.

Good hotel stay with plenty of extra amenities and storage to make your stay comfy. Smoking area for smoking guests stinks the whole lobby as you walk through reception to the lift, which is a shame. It is a non smoking hotel. Close to the sightseeing spots and about 10 mins walk to JR Station and supermarket.

Good location for those coming with a car, ample free parking provided. Near to Maxvalu, Daiso and a drugstore, Otaru museum and train related stuff and also fish market(pretty cute tho), just beside a Pakistan halal restaurant. Not so far from Otaru Canal, can walk for those counting their steps everyday.

We absolutely loved this ryokan experience! Stayed for 2d1n as a couple and absolutely loved the place! We booked the room with the private onsen and it was a lovely small space on the 2nd floor we could enjoy privately. The onsen is not too big, maybe 1.5 x 1.5 meters, but it was spacious for the two of us. We also found out that you can book a 45 minute slot for a separate private onsen for about ¥2200, which we may have done instead, had we known about it before booking. The japanese-style room was comfortable and had the usual amenities provided, alongside other nice additions like lotions and creams. The staff helped us to set up our futon (japanese-style bed) after dinner, and it was overall a very comfortable experience. The staff are super friendly and service was incredible. We got the dinner and breakfast package and the food was excellent. We had to choose both the dinner slot in advance, and it is first-come-first-serve. Dinner was served to us in the room over 1.5h and was a really amazing 12-course meal with instructions on the eating order. Breakfast was more standard, but still nice, we took it in the dining hall. The lounge is open till 10pm and we could take drinks and refreshment freely, including some small snacks and soft drinks. But they stop serving beer at 9pm. The onsens also have mini-fridges with free popsicles. There is also an outside area you can access from 3pm - 9pm that serves hot coffee and wine, with free marshmallows you can roast on the outside firepit. It was really nice. The garden is by far the nicest part of the hotel, it is really big and well decorated, with many nice places for photos and to enjoy a hot drink from the lounge. The space is quite large and might take about 20 minutes to fully explore. The only downside I can think of is that the location is quite hard to access. We chose to get to and from the ryokan by taxi, but there is also a shuttle bus service, from what I understand. When we arrived, the reception told us that there would be a shuttle bus leaving at 10:45 to Otaruchikko station. We still ended up requesting a taxi from the front desk though, which they were happy to help us book (I couldn't get any taxis by cab in the location). Overall a really amazing stay that we would absolutely recommend. The price tag might seem high for a ”3 star” hotel, but the ranking is deceptive, we absolutely had a 5 star experience. I stayed here on a trip with my girlfriend whom I hadn't seen in a long time. We came by car from Sapporo, and it was close to Otaru city, so there was a parking lot and it was easy to access. My first impression was that it was luxurious for the price, and for a moment I thought I had come to the wrong hotel. The room we stayed in was on the top floor, the 8th floor, and it was clean and had a great view. For dinner, we had the 2,800 yen sashimi set meal. Everything was fresh and delicious. I was impressed by the garnish (like collagen) that I had never seen before. There were two types of hot springs, and the open-air bath was especially good, but There was only enough space for two people to sit, both inside and outside, so it was disappointing that there was no place to relax after the sauna. In the end, there were so many people that I couldn't sit down after the cold bath, so I just sat in the area to wash my body. I wish they had more chairs. My trip with my girlfriend became a good memory. Thank you.

The hotel is in a very good location, on the hill next to the Ferris wheel, with great views, facing the cliffs and the sea. Due to its age, the hotel facilities are relatively old, but they are well maintained. The private bath in the room enjoys the sea view, which makes people linger. The service of the hotel is very old-fashioned and in place. If there is any shortcoming, it is that the quality of breakfast and dinner needs to be further improved.

It was really... really the best. It was nice to take a walk right in front of the Otaru Canal, and the staff were all kind and nice! When communication wasn't good, the staff used a translator to explain everything to me one by one, so I was able to enjoy my stay without any difficulties. I also liked the large public bath! The baths change every hour, so I could use both at night and in the morning! And the outdoor bath was really the best. It was really charming and nice when it snowed!!! And.. I left my wallet in a taxi on the way to Otaru Station after checking out, and I really, really want to thank the staff who came to find it for me as if it was their own business!! Thanks to them, I had good memories until the last day of my trip. 😍😍

The owner put a lot of effort into opening a great hostel. I believe some people may take advantage of learning how to extend their business. Guest all enjoy their stay with quality and competitive price. Definitely will be back soon
