"This was our second stay at Keio Plaza Hotel Sapporo, and as before, the rooms were clean and the overall atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. One of the things we valued during our 2024 stay was the convenience of returning our rental car at the Toyota Rent a Car branch located right at the hotel, plus easy access to an airport shuttle. However, this time we noticed the airport shuttle schedule has been cut down to just 2 trips a day, which made planning around it a bit trickier. If you're not renting a car, you might want to consider a hotel closer to Sapporo Station for better convenience. Overall, still a comfortable and reliable hotel, just worth planning your transport around the updated shuttle times."

"This is a historic Japanese onsen hotel. The hot spring water quality is genuinely good, attracting many Japanese families and couples. There are also quite a few Korean families and Western tourists. However, the overall facilities are a bit old, and the flow within the onsen area is quite complex. There aren't many pools, but they are spread across multiple floors with lots of stairs. Walking around like that **in that condition** felt a bit awkward and cold. The open-air onsen on the 16th floor is shared by men and women at different times, so if all family members want to enjoy it, one day definitely isn't enough (see the last picture for the onsen schedule). The 'water world' is fun and great for kids, and soaking in the hot spring after playing there is very relaxing. The dining is just okay, nothing special, as they mainly cater to group tours. P.S. The scenery in Jozankei is worth exploring, and the nearby ski resort is worth a visit (the kind for playing in the snow). The kids had a blast."

"The room was spacious, the biggest I've stayed in Japan so far, and the window offered a great view of Lake Toya. However, the bathtub in the bathroom looked a bit unclean, probably because most guests go to the hot springs instead of using their room's tub. The views from the lobby and restaurant windows were also lovely. For the two meals, the beef at dinner was quite good, but the salmon was very average. If you want to see the fireworks, you can't view them from the room. I missed them because I didn't know where to go. The onsen had many different baths, and I tried all of them except the cold pool. It felt incredibly relaxing, and being able to soak in a warm outdoor onsen while it was snowing heavily made me feel like life was good again!"

The staff at Park Hyatt are incredibly attentive and thoughtful. The front desk ladies are not only beautiful but also very meticulous and considerate, especially kind and warm towards children. This time, I'd like to extend a special thanks to the hotel's reservations department for taking care of a returning guest like me by promptly upgrading our room, which made our trip incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel's ski valet is a major reason why we ski here; it saves so much effort when you're tired from skiing. Last year, I remember there were enthusiastic staff members who helped with putting on and taking off ski boots; it seems that service isn't available this year. It would be even better if it were! 😄 Thank you! 🙏

We arrived early. Parked our car and then walked to the nearest tourist spot. Very strategically located near attractions. The check in was smooth. Suggest to book your private onsen at check-in, if you prefer that instead of public bath. We also booked the hot stone sauna. Both are relaxing, especially after a long ride. Dinner is good too. Good variety and can even make our own shabu shabu.

The hotel is built on a mountain, and trying to walk around was quite tiring. The room was spacious, but housekeeping doesn't come daily. Currently, all of Japan is embracing eco-friendliness, so most hotels only clean every two nights, and some even every three nights. Those who sign up for tours or activities will be picked up directly at the hotel. The hotel also offers a free shuttle to the Utoro Bus Center. If you miss the shuttle, I believe the hotel can also arrange a drop-off. The buffet was extensive, but eating the same things every day got a bit boring. Personally, I still prefer set meals. I tasted something sour in the chawanmushi. At first, I thought my taste buds were off, but after smelling it, I confirmed it was indeed sour and informed the staff. The public bath has several pools. The open-air hot spring bath is a bit small, but it wasn't crowded.
