"Had 3 nights stay here with my wife and 3 year old son. The hotel has a beautiful view of the ocean and the waves are so mesmerising and therapeutic.
We went during spring time - Sakura season and the temperature was about 9-17 degrees. But the room air conditioning is pretty good. It regulated the heat we required.
The staff here are very hospitable, helpful and kind. Makes the whole stay even more memorable. On the second day, We opt for no cleaning of the room as we worry the room will be rearranged to the original state and we will have to rearrange the room to our usage pattern. And the staff were kind enough to send us a bag of new towels, toiletries and yukata etc.
on the third day we requested for housekeeping, the room was cleaned up without messing our arrangements of the room. Good detail of the housekeeping team.
I love the public and private bath. Especially the outdoor public bath. Itâs an absolute must go with the ocean view.
The only point for improvement I have for this hotel is the dinner buffet. The quality and spread has room for improvement. We had also tried the Mirai restaurant for a more intimate dinner setting. Mirai was good.
Good for the new guest to know that this hotel had also hosted the emperor of Japan. And their onsen were listed as the winner for kamogawa area in the National onsen ranking."

"The multi-course dinner in a private room was excellent, so I was looking forward to breakfast, but was disappointed that it was a buffet. Both the large communal bath and the open-air bath were spacious and comfortable. The room was deep enough, but the width was only about 40-50 cm from the foot of the bed, so it felt a bit cramped. Even business hotels these days have a little more space! Other facilities, furnishings, and customer service were impeccable, making for a comfortable stay."

"My first time staying at a Hilton in Japan, and the hotel exceeded my expectations â it was incredibly spacious! The service was also excellent, and the front desk even had staff who spoke Chinese. Plus, there's a free airport shuttle."
GGuodongbudingmakalongHighly recommend this hotel! The shuttle bus makes it super convenient to get to both the mainland attractions and the ocean. The AEON mall nearby is great for shopping and grabbing a bite to eat. The hotel staff are all very friendly, and the breakfast is delicious with a wide variety of options. The hotel is clean and well-maintained. It's an excellent choice, and I'd definitely recommend it to friends. The value for money is exceptional, and the four-person bed was very comfortable. Plus, there's a Komeda Coffee right across the street, and the supermarket has plenty of options for a late-night snack back at the hotel.
LLohMKNo need to reserve hotel shuttle is a relief, especially if arriving at airport and unable to clear Immigration on time as in our case. The timings of the shuttle is displayed at the board at Bus Stop 16 where most hotel shuttles pickup ate there.
The highlight for our stay is the Yurajuko hot spring resort or complex next to the hotel from which we were given complimentary Pass to the hot spring. All shoes, footwares must be put away in the lockers outside before going into the front desk to register entry. to collect a special wrist band for payment later at the front desk after eating in the restaurant or foodcourt inside (which turned out to be satisfying in terms of quality and price).
There might also be entertainment on the stage; eg a Hawaiian theme dance segments were performed during our time there.
The room was ok. Only one issue is we didn't know how to turn on the Aircon. Later, we found 2 switches at the bedside table for switching on and off the Aircon. But that night, we decided not to use the Aircon at all but simply open the window which is netted to prevent insects from entering. The cool air during the day and the cold air at night is fresh enough for sleeping comfortably. Since it's May and the weather was good that day!
GGuest UserWe absolutely loved staying at the Grand Nikko and happy we chose to stay here. It felt new and looked after. The room was spacious (2 parents + 1x child 10yrs old) all had our own beds, I would say they are a king single (Australian size).
We were so lucky to have the 10th floor park side which gave us the best view of the Disney Castle of which we could see the fire works show really well from our balcony (sitting in our pajamas eating egg sando from the little onsite conbini watching the fireworks was elite)
Great amenities, great australian type breaky options (bacon, eggs options breads hash browns etc) , fantastic location, decent sized rooms, super easy check in & out, love the smell of the hotel too, the entry/ lobby area is jaw dropping in itself, sitting areas on the bay side for sea view on lobby level are the perfect spot to watch the sun set over the city. Itâs a beautiful light and bright hotel.
The only things we noted was
- the dinner buffet would be a little restricted for fussy western eaters & kids options were limited if you have fussy western kids but they do have chips, nuggets, roast pork, bread & rice.
However you can still get prepared and purchase snacks like onigiri, bento and sandwiches etc from the little shop in the lobby. But get in early before everyone gets their Disney pack lunches for the day or wait until majority head out for the day. They get cleaned out pretty quickly at peak times like going out and coming home.
- there was only 1 water refill spot we saw which was in the gym area, but they do have drinks machines on every floor.
- definitley pre book breaky you can only do this on the morning of from 6am so if you want to be out the door heading to the park by 7am scan the breakfast QR code on the voucher at 6am asap. You get a number in a virtual line, and when your number is nearly ready head to the line to line up to enter breakfast, you canât just head straight to a table.
But those are only small things
We loved it and will definitely stay here again, canât wait to come back !
ZZetanancyMaking the decision to stay here was absolutely spot on! We returned our rental car and this hotel was right across the street. It has several restaurants and even a Lawson convenience store. After a good night's sleep, there's a free shuttle service to the airport. Our luggage was even handled for us and the staff gave us a warm send-off. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time! đ
GGuest UserThe room was spacious and very close to Disneyland, which was super convenient for taking the kids. We could come back and rest easily. What really saved us was that on the day we arrived, it was pouring rain, and all our clothes and shoes got soaked! The hotel had a self-service laundry and dryer, and they even brought us a shoe dryer! We were so touched; otherwise, we wouldn't have known what to wear back to Tokyo the next day. The hotel views are beautiful; early in the morning, you can see people doing water activities and even fishing. My child said they wished we could stay two more days! There's also a Lawson downstairs, which is very convenient. The only downside was that the check-in process was a bit complicated and slow. Waiting there completely drenched was really uncomfortable.
MMandyMaddieThe receptionist was very helpful even when inthought i had left my daughters passport in the room after leaveing to get flight. Its clean the bbq Japanese garden is great. Unfortunately we was not allowed in sauna or pool as i have tattoos. The rooms was decent sized but there was a few fruit flys in there but minor. Completely pjs and slippers was also included

YyukilovegaI stayed here for 3 nights after visiting Tokyo Disneyland one day and DisneySea the next. It's very close to Bayside Station, just a short walk away, so no need for a shuttle. The hotel is large, and the room was quite spacious, but it's genuinely very old and dated. As soon as you step out of the elevator, there's a strong musty smell that made me sneeze. The air conditioning controls surprised me; I'd never seen anything like them before and almost couldn't figure them out. Although there are several restaurants for breakfast, the food variety isn't actually that much, and the taste is just average. Plus, you have to queue for everything. There are too few coin-operated washing machines, so you can never get a turn. All in all, I wouldn't consider staying here again.
