Love the Castle Oaks Hotel, stayed here few years ago & fell in love with the place & the lovely friendly staff. It's the ideal place if u just want to relax & enjoy the walks down by the river. We stayed last weekend & really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast is very good & plentiful, we had dinner both nights & we weren't disappointed. Maggie & Josie are out on their own, hotel is very lucky to have two hard working & friendly ladies. Only downside was that there was no live music in bar on Sat night, we were looking forward a sing song. We are looking forward to returning soon 💛

We did not visit the actual hotel area. The Bistro Bar is pretty 'ordinary' but they serve very good food with excellent service and very pleasant staff. Quite good value for the money. Wouldl recommend

I was very pleasantly surprised by my experience in this hotel! From the very first point of contact at the reception the staff exuded friendliness! I had the salmon at dinner - which again was very good! The following day I hade the chowder for lunch - exceptional! FYI I am a pretty accomplished cook. The gym had full olympic bars and a great range of dumbbells to meet the needs of a regular gym goer. Pool, sand and steam looked great - I didn't have time to use them as I only stayed one night. Breakfast was great - lovely coffee - Yeah - I recommend this hotel!

After a long and lovely trip to Ireland (my first) it was delightful to spend a quiet day and night at the hotel in anticipation of an early morning flight. Well rested, I was delighted by assistance (I have limited mobility) all the way from the hotel across the parking lot pathway to the airport. It was the epitome of compassion and kindness, exhibited throughout Ireland, but as a final reminder of the warmth and generosity of the Emerald Isle.

My daughter chose the Stella Maris for her Wedding Reception. What a find!? We were around 60 people. For the quality & location, the prices were (surprisingly) the best we'd found anywhere else. EVERY single guest also commented after, on the food quality being the best they'd ever had at a wedding!! Our meals were pre-chosen. They catered for any special dietary needs, (vegan, vegetarian, etc) and we were all served quickly. Food for young children/babies arrived almost immediately they were seated. Their attention to details like this was second to none and their helpfulness before and during the reception was genuinely 'exceptional”. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel for a wedding reception. We felt looked after like 'family'. The location is fantastic too.... with plenty of accommodation available within walking distance (if the hotel itself is full). Its a few minutes walk to a beautiful beach, and there were live music events throughout the town of Kilkee, for after reception revelry.

The Trump Doonbeg property is very peaceful and well maintained. We stayed in suite that was well furnished and service was great. We travelled throughout Ireland and my wife liked it here the best. I played the golf course which is well maintained.

Dieses Hotel ist familiengeführt. Das merkt man bereits, wenn man das Haus betritt. Aufzug bis in den 6. Stock. Zimmer sauber, Badewanne vorhanden, 2 Betten sind da. Überaus freundliches Personal und der Hotelbesitzer erkundigt sich an jedem Tish, dass alles stimmt. Die Küche ist auf Sonderwünche eingestellt und bereitet exzellentes Gerichte zu. Ich habe nur deshalb keine 5 Punkte vergeben, da das Zimmer keine Klimaanlage hat und weder Schwimmbad noch Spa verfügt und weil man die Speisenkarte mit der Handybeleuchtung lesen muss, weil das Licht nicht ausreicht.

We stayed overnight in the Radisson Blu Limerick after attending a wedding there recently. It’s a lovely hotel with beautiful grounds. We really enjoyed our short visit with wonderful food, a spotless room and very friendly staff. I would like to mention Gabrielle who worked at our table during the wedding and who met us and showed us to our table next morning and took our breakfast order. She was so pleasant and helpful to us on each occasion we met her. We were sorry to have to leave without enjoying the hotels extra facilities, the pool and gym etc. We hope to get back soon for a private stay.

A lot has already been said, great location for walks , golf , not to mention the wonderful beach. Cycling which we did as well as the tourist sites, Cliffs of Moher being my favourite. . This hotel is a great experience as well as value, and shall be hard to book going forward would be my guess , as its a gem and shall not disappoint. We had one issue which was immediately and effectively dealt with by management. Can't be bad to that , they clearly invest in their buisness and customers. Ticked all the boxes for us.
