Elegance Luxury Executive Suites - Adults Only

The hotel is on the top of the mountain, more than 700 meters away from the sea in a straight line. The seaside in the other direction is a town, two kilometers away. You have to take a taxi to Zakynthos Town, fifteen euros a time. In short, you have to take a taxi everywhere. This is something we didn't expect beforehand. The hotel did not hand it over to the chain management team. There was only one person at the front desk. He watched a half-old Italian man running around. Later, I saw him grinding coffee and preparing drinks. Later, he came to the restaurant to order dishes, and then he came to order and help you. Pull luggage to the room. . . Others are lazy, do whatever they call it, and don't take the initiative. It feels like a family business. The lobby is quite large, empty scattered with tables, chairs, and sofas. There are not many rooms and not of scale. It is estimated that this is the main reason why the professional management team does not come to operate. There are several rooms on the 0th floor with private swimming pools. We live upstairs. The balcony is very clear to watch people swimming and sunbathing, and there is no privacy. Upstairs overlooking the woods and the sea, the view is nice. The room is huge. . . It's not that big. The facilities in the room are not in good condition, and the boxed paper and kettle are only given to us when we go to the front desk. Not worthy of a five-star title. Unprepared to travel with the local group, everyone went to swim in the water. We stayed on the boat stupidly, and cancelled the trip to the Blue Hole altogether the next day. I went to the beach to swim by myself. This hotel is not good value for money! ! ! It is better to choose Zakynthos to live in. The desserts in this hotel are very good and the breakfast is very good.
Liberatos Village

We had a lovely week at the Liberatos Village, it was brilliant to find a great deal at such a lovely apartment in the school summer holidays. Apartments were lovely and clean, all seemed to have a great view. We had a lovely sea view from ours. Rooms are spacious, we stayed in a one bedroom apartment with a sofa bed in the lounge for my daughter. They also supplied a travel cot for my youngest daughter on request which was perfect. When we arrived there was no hairdryer in the room, I mentioned it to the lovely lady at reception and within a few minutes I had a great one in the room to use, not your usual low power travel ones. All the staff we spoke to were so polite, kind and happy to help at anytime. The pool area was kept lovely, always clean and the sunbeds were great with comfy cushions on. Pool towels available from reception was also a lovely touch. Pool was never overcrowded or noisy and there was always space for everyone during the day. There was also a lovely bar area with seats, we didn't really use the bar or have the breakfast so can't comment but food coming out looked lovely. A lot of people comment on the hill up to the apartments. This is a fairly steep hill and is probably a 10/15 min walk up and down. A lot of people took taxis however we walked up and down at least once a day with no trouble and a 6 year old. It is steep and hot in the heat but unless you have mobility issues it shouldn't be a concern. The views from the apartments and tranquil setting definitely make up for this. All restaurants and bars are along the road at the bottom of the hill with a large supermarket close by. All restaurants are great quality with amazing food so you can't go wrong wherever you go. Highly recommend the Aqua Marina for happy hour 6-9pm great cocktails and lovely atmosphere. All in all Kefalonia is beautiful, Lassi especially and we would definitely visit the Liberatos Village again :).
Red Tower Hotel

We chose this hotel based on the description on their website etc. We were very disappointed in the bedrooms. The description said “light and airy” - they were dark and dingy, so much so that we nicknamed them the ‘caves’. There was a kettle in the room but no cups, tea or coffee. There was a fridge. The rooms were cleaned daily, with fresh towels and linen. WiFi was almost impossible to use. The view from the pool and breakfast area was absolutely stunning! And some of the rooms also had a fantastic view. The pool was lovely, although not really suitable for children or non-swimmers as it is very deep. There was also no jacuzzi on poolside as stated which was very disappointing. The pool bar was never open - we did enquire and was told that the staff are there and we just had to ask. Seems like there is a lack of staff as there was only ever 2/3 main staff there the whole week. The breakfast was adequate, and we were advised to get down early otherwise it would all be gone. We ended up taking our own coffee, milk and butter down to breakfast as the coffee machine was broken, and the milk tasted off. They also seemed to have a wasp problem, which is not their fault, but it made eating breakfast a bit difficult as you were constantly worried that you were going to be stung. You definitely need a car if staying here as there is nowhere to eat or shops to buy things from within walking distance. Nydri was a great place to go to eat and shop which was a 10 minute drive away. The beaches on the island were all fabulous but an umbrella for shade is needed. Would definitely return to Lefkas but NOT to Red Tower Hotel. Think it needs better management and some updating.

Popi Star

Popi Star offers great value for money if you want to be near Corfu town. We found the rooms spacious and clean. Arriving at 1:30 am we still received a warm welcome. The towels were soft and the bedding was crisp and well made. The buffet breakfast was generous with good variety. The staff were friendly. We are frequent visitors to Corfu and use the Popi Star as a first stop near the airport before moving on to further destinations later in the holiday. We would say as a budget hotel its hard to beat.
Crystal Waters

Well, what an utterly fabulous hotel! Very clean accommodation and very friendly, helpful staff. Great pools, great restaurants. The breakfast is just brilliant. We had the deluxe suite with private pool/garden view, but very easily could see the sea (room 111). The private pool is a must as it's great for cooling down in at the end of a hot day. The hotel is perfectly situated on the island in that it's only a short drive (10-20mins) to either Nydri or Lefkada Town (which are both lovely places with great bars and eateries). The mountain villages are also definitely worth a drive to. As an example of how helpful the staff are, I realised that I had forgotten some very important medication. I went to speak to the assistant manager and she was extremely helpful in sorting out a visit to the doctors for me. I honestly can't fault the place. I can be a little cautious of other peoples reviews and don't tend to write them myself, but we had such a great stay at Crystal Waters that I couldn't not write one. Trust me, its worth going. As an aside, Lefkada is a beautiful place, the whole island. It feels more ”cosmopolitan” than the Greece of the 80's. Also, do yourself a favour and book a trip on the ”pirate boat”. It's not a ”kiddy thing” and is definitely worth spending the money on. It's a great day out.

The location is gorgeous, it’s near the sea with stunning view , great place to chill and sunbathe, the food in the restaurant was also delicious . But the hotel itself didn’t have any toothbrushes and even no small bottles of water in the room , the store is not that near so instead of enjoying your stay you need to look around for toothbrushes. Our breakfast was included , it wasn’t wow , my friend who stayed with me didn’t like it at all I still think it was fine , but the coffee !! It was a total disaster, there’s a coffee machine and it tasted like the machine hasn’t been cleaned since they got it. Overall great views and surroundings, bur hotel can do a little better. Beds were nice and comfy also . The planes , as you can see , are passing very near , I wasn’t bothered cos I use earplugs, cheers
