I booked this hotel for our trip to Legoland. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to Legoland. Plenty of parking space available and there is possibility to charge your car if you have 3 pin industrial socket to schuko. There were 3 plugs available but only 1 has schuko plug so we will have to take turns to charge our car. Breakfast was good and my son liked the waffle so much. Dennis and Jan were the MVP during our stay. They were attentive and very friendly to cater all our needs during the stay. Housekeeping lady did really good job keeping the room clean with all the dirt we brought from Legoland. However I would like to offer a suggestion that the hotel provide a floor squeegee to help keep the bathroom floor dry, it is quite slippery after we finished showering. In the room they provide small table fan which is quite enough to cool down during really hot day when we were there (35 C in the afternoon). Luckily in the evening the temperature dropped to around 25 C so we can open room window to cool the room down. Definitely will visit again if we want to go to Legoland.

Beautiful hotel, extremely helpful staff!!!! Great location. We especially enjoyed the modern scandinavic design in all rooms and the lobby. Great for families. We would definitely stay there again!!!!

Hotel essenziale ma ben curato: la nostra camera al nono piano spaziosa e con ottima vista sulle colline circostanti, colazione buona, Wi-Fi ben funzionante, personale gentile. La posizione della struttura ideale; a due minuti dal corso principale della città e a 5 minuti dalla stazione dei treni e bus, perfetto in arrivo dall’aeroporto e base per ogni possibile escursione in altre città. Il fatto che ti puliscono la camera ogni 5 giorni (come scriveva qualcuno criticamente su questo sito), non è un disservizio ma una libera scelta del cliente se vuole contribuire ad un percorso di sostenibilità ambientale . Se così non fosse basta chiedere e ti fanno la camera tutti i giorni (è scritto ovunque).

We stayed in the pirate room, the room has been updated in terms of bedding and carpet but the furniture, bathroom, and lighting are very old. There's no plugs in good places and the bathroom is terribly lit and with a shower curtain. Very limited toiletries. IF you are family of 3 or 4, there are bunk beds that pull down from the wall making the room the size of a shoebox. We were there with 2 and it was ok but with 4 it would have been extremely small with no where for luggage. Definitely do not recommend this room for a family. The hotel is expensive because it is Legoland, I wish there were better options in the area. The restaurant was a zoo at breakfast, little kids running everywhere, unsupervised at the breakfast bar. A coffee machine was broken so you had to queue for coffee and the food was not refilled fast enough. Scrambled eggs are out of a box. The pancakes were good and yogurt options reasonable. Fruit selection limited. We did not come here for dinner, reviews were bad and after the zoo at breakfast we were not coming back for dinner. Also the lounge had very dirty sofas. This is a great hotel for young children, my son is 10 and there was not much to offer for him. So it was not worth the money but you have very very few options in Billund and if you don't have a car, this is most convenient place to stay.

My husband and I booked a room for us and another room for my niece and her family. We got the garden rooms and the place was absolutely family friendly. My grandnieces and grandnephew enjoyed the playground as well as the kids pool. We reserved our first night dinner at the Leaf restaurant and let me tell you “THE FOOD WAS SUMPTUOUS.” Breakfast was included, the food choices were plentiful, coffee, juices, fruits, cereal, cheese, bacon, ham, eggs, pastries, cakes, bread, even have swirl ice cream for kids. My niece who lives in Copenhagan will probably go back to this place as they usually bring the kids to Legoland for summer vacation. My husband and I will definitely go back, whenever we visit Europe again, God willing.

We stayed in a secluded part of the hotel where we had to take an elevator from reception, walk a long corridor, take another elevator to reach our room. That being said, room and toilet was really clean. No grout on tiled wall. Kudos to the cleaning team. The room did not have air-con, kettle, tea/coffee nor minifridge. Was quite worried about temperature since temperature outside was pretty high. But luckily they have a small fan. Good enough to pull through. Being smack in the center of the city also means that its noisy. So it's give and take for the amazingly convenient location. Hotel also provides us with earplugs at the bedside. Breakfast has big variety. Good quality and fresh.

The location is very good, the train station is, the whole city is more concentrated, the nearby is the city center, eating and shopping are more convenient, the overall hotel is very good, the room daily parallel tea and coffee are very good. The bed is large and comfortable, the front desk restaurant is unique and has a convenient Japanese and bar.

I'd happily stay at the Cabinn again as a solo traveller - the location is superb, right next to the station, the reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and quiet. However, as a family experience it was very disappointing. The room was extremely cramped for three people, and the top bunk did not come with any kind of safety barrier to stop the person sleeping on it from falling onto the people sleeping (transversely) in the double bed below. My child (Zoe) was unhappy about sleeping up there, but we felt it would have been dangerous for either I (Jeb) or my partner (Delores) to sleep up there lest we fall out in our sleep and land on those below. We therefore ended up with Delores moving the upper bunk mattress onto the floor, and sleeping on that. I've slept in ships cabins and other hotels with bunks, and also in camper vans with elevated beds, but I've never seen one without any kind of restraint to prevent falls. Very odd. We had breakfast at one of the many eateries in the Station, so can't comment on the hotels offer. Overall, great value if you don't mind compromising on space, but not a good family option.

A very good location, across the road from train station, few mins walk to castle, lake and town centre. Helpful Reception staff who speak good English. No kettles in the rooms, but a variety of teas, coffees , hot chocolate available from downstairs 24 hours a day The included breakfast buffet is excellent - cereal, yoghurt, fruit, bread, cheese,cold meats, scrambled eggs, bacon, meat balls, pancakes, Danish pastries. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom has hair / body wash (no hairdryer as far as I could see). The only slightly strange thing is that they seem to make the beds with the duvets folded into three. Maybe there is some easy way to unfold them, but each night I ended up pulling all the bedding off to unfold the duvets into a useable position. In their folded up position, they only come up to your waist or if you pull them up, your legs stick out of the bottom. Overall, an excellent place to stay and I would happily come back here

The hotel is a bit off. Quiet. There is a free large parking lot suitable for self-driving tours. There is a restaurant in the hotel. Can solve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel also has a small bar. The room is large. The sofa can be turned into a bed. Driving from the hotel to Billund Lego is about thirty minutes, which is convenient. Will consider staying next time.

Location: The location is very good, close to parks and supermarkets. The hotel is close to public transportation, which makes it easy to get around the city. Additionally, you can walk but it is not a good idea to do with very young kids walking. Infrastructure: There are two buildings with two themes (wizard and warrior) but only the warrior unit offers a reception and restaurant, which was disappointing and made us request a room change to the other building. It has an elevator and stairs with good accessibility for people with reduced mobility. Service: The staff was very helpful and friendly. In general, the employees were polite and welcoming. Room: The rooms were clean and the cleaning routine was also carried out without problems. However, the bathrooms did not have the kits commonly found in hotels, such as shampoo, conditioner, shower caps, and other items, limited to toilet paper, hand soap, and body wash. Breakfast: The meals had regular options of fruits, breads, cheeses, cold cuts, and proteins. Juices, milk, teas, and coffees were also available. Overall, they tasted good and the environment was clean and organized. Cost-benefit: Overall, we considered the stay to be good value for money if we don't consider the need to eat at the hotel other than the included breakfast, as the dinner was not worth the price and was very disappointing.

The room is ok, the facilities are relatively simple, the lighting is relatively dim, like the room layout of the courtyard. The waiter knocked on the door very early to clean and was often woken up. The hotel's breakfast is quite average, more than 100 yuan is not very cost-effective. It is better to go to the nearby supermarket 100 meters to buy something to eat. There are Italian, Vietnamese, Danish, and Turkish restaurants in the surrounding area, and there is also a McDonald's two or three hundred meters away. It’s very convenient to the opposite side of the train station. I thought about other hotels like Lishao but I thought about dragging the boxes and didn’t want to go too far. It proved very wise. The town is also very quiet. There is a very cheap and delicious Thai-style meal at McDonald’s in the train station. Chinese stomach ate two breakfasts in the hotel but the breakfast room was nice and the park room was big.

With the music festival, which took place in the glorious city of Odense, we booked this hotel for 2 nights. The administration, for some reason only known to them, received a booking for only one night. Overall, very pleased with stay at the hotel. All staff most welcoming and helpful. Bedroom: Good size, comfortable and clean..... overlooking the road at the front. Just one area to develop and that would be providing safe deposit boxes in hotel bedrooms. No tea/ coffee facilities in rooms, however free 24 hour vending service for guests in restaurant. Light refreshments served to all guests, each day, between 3pm to 5pm. Breakfast provided was of a good range and and most acceptable.The hotel is centrally located and ideal for tourists. I would recommend the Milling Windsor.

This is a resort style accommodation. Nice cozy lobby, good breakfast but can be better with more options. Room abit rundown and small. No lift if you not staying on ground floor. Carpark in front of lobby limited, but more free lots a minute distance away. No toiletries or room amenities to comment, do not expect a 4 or 5 stars hotel standard. But overall a good stay for a night or two.

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night as part of a trip to Lego House and Jelling. It’s a perfect location - close to both attractions and set in a peaceful, natural area. Room - we booked a family suite which had a king size bed, plus a bunk bed for the children. The room was lovely, spacious and very clean. The only slight negative is that we didn’t find the kind bed mattress particularly comfortable. The bathroom was nice and very clean. We ate in the hotel restaurant in the evening and our meal was delicious. There is one set menu and you choose how many courses you would like. It was good value for money and I love the fact that the hotel is minimising waste by only offering a limited selection of food. Breakfast is included in the room rate and was lovely. There was a selection of eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, bread, cured meats, cheese etc, as well as juices and tea/coffee etc. I would definitely return here.
