Anonymous UserAbsolutely, unequivocally fantastic! This place comes highly recommended for anyone on their first solo trip. I arrived super late, around 2 or 3 AM, and while it's a bit of a walk from the metro station, the streets were incredibly quiet, clean, and safe even in the middle of the night. No strange characters or homeless people around (I seriously love Denmark!). The hostel was brightly lit, and there was a front desk attendant, but I opted for self-check-in and headed upstairs. To my surprise, I got a whole room to myself! The view from the window overlooked a beautiful lake. As my first time staying in a hostel alone, this left a really great impression! (Tip: make sure your padlock is wide enough; mine was too small to fit).

VinixThe hotel is conveniently located directly across from the terminal, making it easily accessible on foot. The facilities are decent, nothing extraordinary, with a minimalist Scandinavian design that feels clean rather than luxurious. Breakfast offers a good variety.

Anonymous UserI recently stayed at the Scandic Spectrum for 4 nights. On the positive side, the hotel is quite new, exceptionally clean, well-kept, and boasts a really beautiful, modern Scandinavian design.
However, the arrival experience was incredibly frustrating. If you arrive before their strict 4:00 PM check-in time, be prepared: there is absolutely no complimentary luggage storage. Instead, they direct you down to a basement parking area with paid storage lockers.
To make matters worse for anyone traveling with family, the lockers are way too small to fit standard family-sized suitcases. When we realized that renting multiple lockers would cost virtually the same amount as just paying for an early check-in, we felt completely backed into a corner and paid for the early room. It really felt like a deliberate setup designed to squeeze extra profit out of arriving guests who have no other choice.
While the property itself is lovely, this overly transactional, nickel-and-diming approach leaves a very poor first impression. If you have an early arrival, budget extra for the hidden costs or look elsewhere.

Guest UserLocation is right across the Bella Center conference center, super convenient to attend conferences.
The area is about 4 subway stops from downtown, and the hotel is near the subway.
Room is spacious, bright and clean.
Bathroom is small, with the most annoying sink ever. Rarely seen a sink this small. It’s so small, everything falls off.
Service is not so great. The provided iron and ironing board were rusty and dirty and leaked rust water on my shirt when used. Requested a new iron from front desk but it took a while.
Hotel has no room service, replaced by a shop downstairs in the lobby. Housekeeping is good but did not give me shower gel for 3 days straight. Breakfast is good.

Guest UserThe hotel was really lovely and there was lots of hotel staff on hand ready to help if needed. Which i did on 1 occasion when my key card wasnt working the lift and i got stuck, they called out an engineer that day. Nust make sure that both you key cards work the lift. Also in the rooms just be awear that there is a small step up to the bathroom to stop room flooding, this is a design feature but east to stub toe (needs to be a sticker with a waring sign about small step). Mini bar in rooms are well stocked.

AlturkiI had the pleasure of staying at the Bryggen Guldsmeden Hotel in July 2025, where I booked a Standard Room. My experience was thoroughly enjoyable and memorable.
The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly, always ready to assist with a warm smile, which made my stay even more comfortable. The room was impeccably clean, providing a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. One of the standout features was the beautiful, warm pool that provided a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring and metro station is 5 minutes walk.
Overall, I would rate my stay at Bryggen Guldsmeden Hotel a solid 9/10. The combination of excellent service, clean accommodations, and a relaxing pool area makes it a hotel I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Guest UserWe arrived early, the front desk staff kindly checked us in straight away. AC was working when we entered the room. Cool and refreshing. At the reception area we could access to still water and sparkling water, various tea bags and instant coffee. In the room there’s a kettle to make own drinks. The bathroom is spacious with bathtub and shower combo.
I would say this hotel is family friendly with lots of activities, board games, swimming pool.
Breakfast was included, we thought it was very good with tea leaves, fresh coffee, energy drink, cold cuts, hot meals, and very popular for kids were make your own waffles.
A short walk to metro station, nearby amusement park, even so this hotel located rather quiet area

We had a very enjoyable stay at Charlottehaven. The room had everything you could need for a several-day stay. We only missed havine g a microwave to heat a glass of milk or similar. The view from the room was very nice. The service was very attentive to our needs, whenever we had any problem they went out of their way to help us. The gym and sauna facilities are top of the notch. The train and metro stations are quite close. We found a very nice steak house at walking distance, Restaurant Savanna, that it was the most delicious dinner we had in Denmark. The ”special” brunch breakfast on Sunday was not so special though, it was just a nice hotel buffet breakfast.

The hotel's ambiance is fantastic, very clean, and boasts a strong Danish charm. Its location is super central, only about a 15-minute walk to the shopping street. The hotel itself is a historic building, beautifully maintained, and the service is excellent. The only letdown was the breakfast; the variety was quite poor.

Guest UserWe just completed a 2nd time stay within a month and we were glad to come back to this service apartment styled hotel. Kitchenette with the NETTO supermarket in the bldg plus a top bakery around the block makes it always convenient. Same goes for the gym, pool and sauna. Bikes to rent are very solid. Also you have plenty of jogging kilometers waiting for you which you can start straight from the hotel doors. Reception was extra flexible this time.
