"The hotel is beautiful and spacious, with a wonderful Southeast Asian vibe. The staff are all incredibly kind and enthusiastic. Our room was very clean, and the attention to detail was excellent. The restaurant offers a rich variety of dishes, and the environment is very pleasant. The only minor downside was that the swimming pool water was a bit cool. Overall, we were very satisfied. My family and I really enjoyed our two-night stay at the Intercontinental."

"The hotel environment is fantastic, with many hot spring pools and lots of trees, plus a variety of small animals. Our room had floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, and we could even project movies. There's also a small private courtyard outside for a personal hot spring bath, which was amazing. The front desk staff were very attentive and detailed in their service, which was excellent. However, there was a minor flaw: there was no toilet paper holder in the restroom. The toilet paper was placed next to the sink outside the door, meaning you had to stand up to reach it, which was quite awkward."

"Just pulled up to the hotel and — plot twist — our room wasn’t ready. Shocking, I know. They’d just survived the Water Festival the day before, so the place was probably still half-drowned and hungover. The receptionist dude was an absolute saint. His female colleague, however… let’s just say she was clearly auditioning for the role of “Cranky Receptionist from Hell.” I’m 99% sure she was on her period and the other 1% was pure personality. Thankfully they upgraded us, which was nice. I never saw the original room, so for all I know they moved us from a broom closet to a slightly larger broom closet with a view. Speaking of which — the view? Legit fire. The room itself? Clean enough. Dry sink area: spotless. Toilet: sparkling. Then came the shower — oh boy. It started off promising, like a decent enough setup… until my girlfriend jumped in. Five minutes later the hot water ghosted her mid-shampoo like a bad Tinder date. One second she’s happily singing, next second she’s screaming like she just got waterboarded by ice cubes. I’ve stayed in fancier bathrooms in Mexican motels that still had bullet holes in the walls and more reliable plumbing. Breakfast was… breakfast. The kind of “basic” that makes you nostalgic for airplane food. But hey, they gave us more bottled water than a doomsday prepper’s basement, so points for hydration. We were only there for two nights — in and out like a cheap Tinder date. Would I go back? Big fat question mark with a side of “probably not even if they paid me.” ⁉️"

"I specifically chose this hotel for my birthday getaway, and I highly recommend it to anyone celebrating their birthday! They offer free birthday decorations and a cake 🍰. At the Lakeside Buffet, multiple birthday guests in a group can eat for free, and at Dianxiang Restaurant, you get a complimentary set of roast duck – absolutely fantastic! 👍🏻 The hotel provides free activities like pet interactions, boating, fishing, batik dyeing, and tea tasting, as well as a variety of other paid activities. The fishing was incredibly fun, even though I almost didn't catch anything, which was a bit disappointing. But hearing the excited screams from other guests nearby was still great! The breakfast was also excellent. I'll just share one photo of the eggs – eight different varieties!!! The swimming center has a sauna and spa, but unfortunately, I didn't bring a swimsuit, which was one of my regrets. Overall, I look forward to visiting again in the future and hope the hotel continues to improve!"

Hotels in Yunnan
Yuanyang twelve manors Xiangdian hotel is located in Yuanyang Terrace Scenic Spot, Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It has earthy yellow walls and thatched huts, which are integrated into the village of Hani village. Xiangdian is just located in the middle of Qingkou to bada. It is the preferred route for walking terraces. Passing by Xiangdian, metropolis will stop, have a cup of coffee, have a snack, have an iced beer, and chat with foreigners who come to China to explore their secrets. The vision of the incense classic is full of Hani elements, and the folk flavor is strong and attractive. Each room is equipped with floor glass windows facing the terraces. Large terraces are framed in the glass, which is the most natural picture of the circulation of the four seasons in the room. Occasionally, swallows fly low in front of the window, and the whole picture moves.Xiangdian features four seasons medicine bath (spring tea, summer flowers, autumn leaves and winter wine), Hani characteristic picnic, authentic bamboo tube roast chicken, and a long street banquet of more than 20 meters when it comes to festivals. Hani villagers fill the yard and speak incomprehensible Hani Language, which does not prevent us from having fun together. On a winter night when you don't want to sleep, sit around the fire pond, eat some baked tofu, roast Ciba, drink some wine, eat baked "potato", clap the hand drum, the fire shines on everyone's face, talk about the past, talk about the future, tell stories, talk about you and me, and the sleepless night is so short.

"The room was clean and tidy, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a small terraced field. Thanks to the underfloor heating, the room wasn't damp at all and felt warm. For breakfast, you could choose between Chinese and Western styles; I went with the Chinese rice noodles, which tasted great. The service was excellent too. The only minor drawback was a slight odor in the bathroom. You couldn't smell it in the room when the glass door was closed, but it was quite strong when opened. Hopefully, they can look into that."

On the positive side, the hotel has quite a few recreational facilities, and the room amenities are decent and relatively new. On the negative side, the biggest problem is the excessive dampness in the room. It was uncomfortable to sleep in, and although the hotel changed the bedding, it didn't help much. This might be due to the humid air during the rainy season in Xishuangbanna, but two things puzzled me: 1) The front desk said no one else had reported this issue before. 2) I stayed at three hotels during this trip, and Zhucheng was the third. The other two were right next to Zhucheng, and their rooms didn't feel noticeably damp. Also, the hotel room didn't pay enough attention to some details. The sofa arrangement prevented the curtains from closing completely automatically; I had to manually close them. The refrigerator was also quite noisy, which affected my sleep.

Choosing the Adaman Hotel by Mingyoo Li Cheng was absolutely the best decision I made for this Xishuangbanna trip. From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the corridors enveloped in tropical greenery, exuding an exotic vibe. Every snapshot I took turned into a stunning, atmospheric photo. The room was spacious and cozy, with smart controls throughout, making everything super convenient. The bedding was incredibly soft and skin-friendly, ensuring a wonderfully restful sleep every night. The location is also fantastic – close to the airport, which makes getting around a breeze. Whether you want to escape the crowds for some peaceful time or explore Xishuangbanna's beautiful sights, this place is perfectly suited. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Xishuangbanna!

Although Xi Shuang Ban Na UrCove claims they are a smoke-free hotel, from what I have seen this is not really true. I suggest People who are allergic to cigarette smoke or have health issues related to cigarette smoke definitely go somewhere else. I saw guests as well as hotel employees openly smoking in the front lobby of this hotel. Front desk clerks and supervisor saw this but not only said nothing to the offenders but when I complained about this, the front desk clerk ignored me and glared at me for complaining. Bedroom: very spacious and clean. beddings and sheets were very clean and comfortable. Toilet: was a very new style and with a temperature toilet seat Shower area: It was a disaster. The glass panel dividing the toilet and the shower area was poorly installed, so water from the shower area leaked everywhere. It was quite dangerous because the floor outside the shower was a smooth piece of floor tile. My wife almost slipped and fell down. We immediately told the front desk that night, and all they did was send someone to wipe up the water that's all. There was no follow-up after that. Breakfast: This has got to be the worst hotel I have ever been to regarding breakfast. The majority of the breakfast items were Chinese food which I have no complaints about, although I do not eat Chinese breakfast. The biggest problem was, when we went for breakfast after 9:15 am there were lots of emptied food containers and plates which was used to hold breakfast food items. Breakfast was supposed to end at 10:00 am. 9:15 am NO croissant, Not even a simple slice of bread which I can make toast with. I also checked the Chinese food items and lots of containers were emptied as well. I then went to ask a staff where I could at least get a piece of bread. Her answer was, there isn't anymore sliced bread and what you see is what you get. There was hardly anything to eat?!?!?! I was furious and I demanded to have a couple of pieces of sliced bread. In the end, kitchen staff Mr. Wang came to my rescue and cooked me and my wife each two fried eggs. On top of it, Mr. Wang went out to get me sliced bread from outside the hotel so that my wife will at least have something to eat for breakfast. On the second day of breakfast, there was no coffee after 9:15 am as the coffee machine went into cleaning mode for at least half an hour. The chief of Chef did end up helping me to get a cup of coffee but from what I can see, this hotel is NOT ready to receive international guests. Totally disappointed in the Urcove Xi Shuang Ban Na. Totally not the Hyatt standard at all. I really believe Hyatt management in Texas really should not take the risk of damaging their great brand by letting this hotel be branded with Hyatt's Name.  The way this Xi Shuang Ban Na Urcove is operating, they are worse than locally managed/owned hotels.

My friend and I stumbled upon this hotel online, and after booking, it truly exceeded my expectations! It's right inside Lijiang Ancient Town! As soon as you step out, you're on cobblestone streets. You can walk to Sifang Street in just 5 minutes. After exploring the night market, you can just stroll back to the hotel – no need for a taxi at all, which makes you feel super safe 💯. 🏠 The facilities are unbelievably complete: * Smart toilet – Heated seat + automatic flush. No more freezing cold toilet seats in winter! * Central air conditioning + humidifier – The humidity here is just perfect. * Full set of toiletries – Not those cheap sample sizes! These are proper branded products, and they smell amazing. * 24-hour hot water + thermostatic shower – The water pressure is fantastic; showering here is pure bliss 🚿. * They called us the day before check-in to confirm our itinerary and even sent us a guide for exploring the ancient town 📋. * The front desk lady was incredibly sweet and upgraded us to a room with a view. * There's free afternoon tea every day, with flower cakes and Pu'er tea. Sitting in the courtyard soaking up the sun was so chill 🌸. * When checking out, they even gave us parting gifts (tie-dye and Pu'er tea cakes), which was a lovely touch. They also offer a free photography service, including makeup and styling, saving us the trouble of finding a photo studio ourselves!

1. **Location: Within Walking Distance of the Night Market, Yet Quiet Inside** The hotel is right next to Zitao Street Night Market, a 2-minute walk to explore and enjoy grilled tofu or browse for Zitao pottery. It's a 5-minute drive to Jianshui Ancient City and Chaoyang Tower, and about a 10-minute drive to the Seventeen-Arch Bridge and the small train station. The building is soundproofed. Even with the lively night market downstairs, the guest rooms are incredibly quiet, perfectly balancing the vibrant outside with a tranquil inside. 2. **Design & Instagram-worthy Spots: Jianshui's Top Photo-Op Hotel** The overall style is a blend of Republic of China-era old mansions and French art: * **Public Areas:** Feature a vinyl record player, vintage velvet sofas, and brass carved摆件, exuding a classic film aesthetic. There's also an in-house Republic of China-era photo studio with free qipao changes for photos, so no need to rent additional costumes. * **Architectural Features:** Partial red brick hollow art walls (just like the building structure you photographed) offer picturesque backdrops everywhere. You can fill your social media feeds with photos without even leaving the hotel. * **Guest Room Details:** Impeccably designed with vintage brass switches and retro table lamps. The soft furnishings are exquisite, blending classical exteriors with modern amenities like smart toilets and intelligent lighting. 3. **Hardware & Facilities: Virtually Unrivaled in Jianshui at This Price Point** * **Swimming Pool:** A 50-meter standard indoor heated pool with stable water temperature year-round, suitable for family fun or daily workouts. It's complemented by a professional gym, billiards, mahjong room, and a spa, so you can spend an entire day without leaving the hotel. * **Bedding & Toiletries:** Features Serta spine-support mattresses throughout and Shiseido toiletries, rivaling five-star hotels in sleep and wash quality. * **Convenience Amenities:** Free charging stations, a self-service laundry room, and free parking, making it very convenient for long-distance road trips. 4. **Culinary Delight: Exclusive 'Free Four Meals a Day' – Experience Authentic Local Flavors** This is its most distinctive feature: the room rate includes four meals a day, so you don't need to go out looking for food: * **Breakfast:** Local breakfast items like Zitao steam pot chicken rice noodles, Jianshui grilled 'erkuai', plus a Western buffet. * **Lunch:** Freshly cooked 'Guoqiao' rice noodles with a full array of ingredients, a taste approved by locals. * **Afternoon Tea:** Yunnan-style fresh flower pastries with Pu'er/chrysanthemum tea. * **Late-Night Snack:** Zha Jiang rice noodles, specialty snacks. You can grab an extra meal even after a late-night stroll through the night market. * The chef regularly introduces seasonal Jianshui ingredients like water caltrops and wild mushrooms, so lazy travelers can simply stay in the hotel and enjoy all the local cuisine. 5. **Soft Services** The front desk provides free ancient city tour guides, and free pick-up/drop-off services can be arranged during certain times. The service staff wear traditional Republic of China-era uniforms with knotted buttons, creating a unified ambiance. They are quick to respond, and for families with children, they proactively offer child-specific amenities.

## Facilities: The hotel boasts numerous smart amenities, including smart toilets, digital TVs, smart home systems, and a mini-fridge. The 3rd floor also features a swimming pool, laundry room, and gym, which are all quite good. ## Environment: The rooms are clean and comfortable. Lower floors facing the street can be noisy, so I recommend requesting a higher floor or a room facing the inner courtyard. ## Location: The hotel is conveniently located close to the Starlight Night Market and Gaozhuang, making it very accessible. ## Service: The front desk staff are polite, greet guests with a standing welcome, and promptly answer questions and provide directions. Check-in and check-out processes are also very efficient, which is commendable.

The ambiance and viewing experience were incredible, making this the most delightful stay of our Lijiang trip. The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. As we stayed for two nights, the hotel kindly arranged airport transfers, making everything seamless and stress-free. They also provided daily shuttle service to and from Baisha Ancient Town, which was super convenient for exploring and saved us the hassle of driving or finding taxis. Beyond that, the hotel offered immersive Naxi cultural experiences like tea pressing and 'Jiama' woodblock printing, which allowed us to truly delve into local customs and added so much richness and fun to our journey. The staff were consistently warm and attentive throughout our stay. They greeted us cheerfully, patiently recommended local specialty foods and off-the-beaten-path routes, and all their suggestions were incredibly useful. During downtime, they'd even invite guests to gather downstairs for tea and a chat. Their genuine and heartfelt approach made us feel completely at ease and welcome, as if we were visiting our own backyard. Their meticulous care and concern were evident in every interaction, truly making us feel at home. The guest rooms were spacious, and the amenities were comprehensive and well-equipped with everything you could need, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The combination of the unparalleled scenic views and outstanding soft and hard services far exceeded our expectations. Whether you're looking for a relaxing vacation or an immersive Lijiang experience, I highly recommend it. This will definitely be my top choice for accommodation on my next visit to Lijiang!

This is a newly opened hotel. **Facilities:** New, though some items are of lower quality, like the kettle. They have automatic toilets. **Hygiene:** Clean. **Environment:** Spacious and grand. **Service:** Enthusiastic. The breakfast is plentiful and offers great value for money. They offer three meals a day, and even though I didn't have time to try them all, I could sense the owner's generosity and pioneering spirit. I sincerely hope their management improves, and their business thrives.
