In late May, I took a ferry from Hong Kong's Sheung Wan pier to Macau's Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, then walked 20 minutes to the Rio Hotel. The hotel strictly enforces its 3 PM check-in policy, and there were many guests waiting to check in at that time, so we all had to queue up. The standard room was very spacious (much more so than Hong Kong hotels). I booked the hotel through Trip.com for an average of CNY 450 per night, which included breakfast for two (the breakfast was decent and suited to average tastes). The hotel is very close to Macau's famous landmark, the Ruins of St. Paul's, and is within walking distance. After checking out this morning, I stored my luggage and spent most of the day exploring Taipa. To get back to mainland China via the Gongbei Port, you can hitch a ride on the shuttle bus from the neighboring hotel. I visited Taiwan in 2019, and now that I've explored Hong Kong and Macau, I've checked off all the boxes for my travels!

I still prefer staying in the city center over Taipa, and the room rates are better too. Overall, my experience at this hotel was quite good [rose emoji]. Location: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Room: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Breakfast: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amenities: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Value for money: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Overall, the location is very convenient, the views are beautiful, and the room hygiene and hotel facilities are perfectly fine. Breakfast was a little ordinary, but that's a minor detail I can overlook. The overall value for money is good.

This was my first stay at The Parisian Macao. I'd previously stayed at The Venetian and found it huge, but The Parisian is just as big, if not bigger! The hotel offers a shuttle service to the central district of Macau, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. Rua da Cunha is also nearby, offering plenty of dining options. The room was clean and tidy, and it offers great value for money. My only minor critique is that the perfume scent throughout the hotel is quite strong; I personally think it could be a bit lighter.

For my trip to Macau, Trip.com recommended the Holiday Inn. Upon arrival, I found the hotel conveniently located on Beijing Street. The front desk staff and lobby manager were all very attentive and welcoming, truly reflecting the high standard of service you'd expect in a tourist city. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, clean, and well-designed, and the room service is excellent. During my stay, I reported some noise from the surroundings, and it was addressed promptly. I was very satisfied with their quick response. The hotel boasts an excellent location, with cultural landmarks such as the Lotus Square, Dr. Ho Yin Park, Macau Polytechnic University, and Beijing Tong Ren Tang all nearby, offering plenty of options for exploration.

I celebrated my birthday here today, and the hotel was beautiful and very comfortable. They even surprised me with a birthday cake. The pool area has both indoor and outdoor options, plus a small jacuzzi. The changing rooms have a small sauna, and best of all, there's a hydrotherapy pool. The hotel boasts several Michelin-starred and fine dining restaurants. The Buffet at the Hill has a huge buffet area with a wide variety of food choices; we booked a room that included breakfast. There's also a garden outside that's perfect for photos. There aren't many shops around, and the Yaohan department store didn't have much of interest. I went to the Vivienne Westwood exhibition, which was free and definitely worth a visit.

I've been to Macau for staycations over 10 times, but this was my first time at Studio City. I always hesitated a bit because of the emphasis on the paid waterpark over the free outdoor pool, or its location at the end of the Strip. However, after this stay, I realized how wrong I was! Firstly, the initial welcome was fantastic! Thanks to the kind hotelier, my impression of Studio City Macau improved even more. The handwritten note, the upgrade, and the incredibly friendly guidance and service were truly touching – thank you! The view of the magnificent Eiffel Tower and the main Cotai Strip was breathtaking. The wooden comb and razor, among other things, were eco-friendly and luxurious, and the amenities were refreshing with a lasting fragrance. Many places don't even have dental floss sets, but this hotel did, making it even more special. The bedding condition was just right – plush and cozy, and the indoor robes and slippers were incredibly soft and top-notch. Beyond that, I was so grateful for the cute character paper shopping bag and the fully stocked complimentary minibar! The fruit set given as a welcome treat was also delicious. Most importantly, the free outdoor pool was amazing! It was spacious, offered a great view of the main 'Golden Reel' building, the Eiffel Tower, the Parisian, and the W Hotel. The wonderful views and the excellent, friendly staff left a lasting impression. I will definitely stay here again next time! I had a very comfortable and relaxing stay.

I came to Macau for an IVE concert and stayed at three hotels (Grand Emperor, Altira, and Hotel Taipa Square). I originally thought Hotel Taipa Square would just be a one-night stopover, but it ended up exceeding my expectations the most! First, the overall hotel style is very modern and convenient. After check-in, the front desk kindly arranged a room upgrade for us, which I greatly appreciate! 👍🏻 Secondly, regarding the deposit, Hotel Taipa Square was the most thoughtful. Mainland Alipay is accepted, and they use a freeze function, so the freeze automatically lifts after check-out (unlike a certain five-star hotel that insists on cash for deposits 🙄, which is very outdated). The room itself was also very clean and tidy. Though small, it had everything you needed and felt very secure 👍🏻. There's also a window with a view of Taipa's night scenery, quiet and peaceful~ It's located in the northern part of Taipa, but the surrounding neighborhood is very convenient, with many convenience stores and breakfast shops downstairs. It's also very close to the Light Rail Transit station and bus stops. Regarding power outlets, Hotel Taipa Square's own outlets are universal, so there's no need to bring an adapter, and it's not recommended to use one (there are warnings). You can also store your luggage for free after check-out, and the service is very professional. All in all, it's a fantastic hotel 🏨 with excellent value for money.

W Macau - Studio City is a stylish and recently opened hotel, boasting a modern design and brand-new facilities. Its location offers excellent convenience for transportation and shopping, and the dining options maintain a good standard. The only slight drawback is that check-in can sometimes involve long queues, indicating a somewhat slow process. However, this minor issue doesn't overshadow the overall experience; it remains a popular choice for those looking to immerse themselves in Macau's trendy luxury atmosphere.

I booked a premium king room with executive benefits. This hotel no longer has a casino, so there's no complimentary shuttle service. Since my booking included executive benefits, I received complimentary afternoon tea and a dinner set. If you want to upgrade to the dinner buffet, it's an extra 100 RMB per person, which is still worth it. The room itself was decent, and the size was quite good – much larger than the tiny 'pigeonhole' hotels I've stayed at in Hong Kong. The decor is a bit dated, but the French-style design gives it a nice feel. The gym is on the first floor next to the pool and is also a good size. Zhuhai is right across the river, offering a pleasant view. From the hotel, you can take a bus directly to Gongbei Port. The Grand Lisboa Casino is about a 20-minute walk away. The hotel's breakfast is very rich with a good variety of options, and the service is excellent, including dedicated Chinese-speaking staff. There's a designated smoking area by the pool, outside the first-floor restaurant. Welcome fruit and capsule coffee makers add to the overall sense of quality and ambiance.

AAHMAD FARHAN F M AL-MASLAMANI⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Exceptional Stay at Londoner Grand Macau Our stay at Londoner Grand exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived until the day we checked out. The hotel feels elegant, modern, and luxurious, yet still warm and welcoming. Our room was beautifully designed, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. Every detail seemed carefully considered, from the quality bedding and spacious bathroom to the premium amenities and thoughtful touches throughout the room. We especially appreciated the complimentary coffee machine, TWG tea selection, luxury toiletries, and the stunning views overlooking Cotai. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the surrounding resorts, attractions, shopping, and dining options. The hotel itself is connected to a vibrant complex, so there is always something to see and enjoy without needing to travel far. What impressed us most was the level of service. The staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and throughout our stay we felt valued as guests. The facilities were equally impressive. Everything was maintained to a very high standard, and the overall atmosphere felt refined, comfortable, and relaxing. It is clear that Londoner Grand aims to provide a premium guest experience, and in our case, it absolutely succeeded. One tip for future guests: if possible, I highly recommend paying the full reservation amount in advance. We prepaid our stay through Trip.com, and when we arrived for check-in, we were pleasantly surprised to find that we were exempt from paying a security deposit, which made the arrival process even faster and more convenient. Overall, this was one of the most enjoyable hotel stays we have had in Macau. We would gladly return and would not hesitate to recommend Londoner Grand to anyone looking for a luxurious, comfortable, and memorable experience.

WWOW of WorldMy stay at the L'Occitane Hotel in Macau was absolutely fantastic, I have to give it a five-star rating. The hotel is L'Occitane-themed, and the room design is cozy with a touch of French romance. The aroma details are perfectly executed; stepping into the room immediately made me feel relaxed and comfortable. From the lobby to the guest rooms, everything exudes a strong French ambiance. The design is exquisite yet warm, and you're greeted by a subtle herbal scent as soon as you enter, instantly putting you at ease and giving you that true vacation feeling. The room was spacious with a thoughtful layout, and the decor details were incredibly well-done, with L'Occitane elements visible everywhere. The best part was the toiletries provided in the room – all authentic L'Occitane products with a sophisticated and pleasant scent, making for an excellent bathing experience. Service was equally outstanding. The front desk and concierge staff were friendly and professional, and check-in was efficient and seamless. Right downstairs is a large shopping mall with plenty of options for dining, entertainment, and shopping, making it perfect for both short getaways and relaxing trips. The hotel's location might be a bit off the beaten path, but it's only a 5-minute walk to Grand Lisboa.

GGuest UserThe hygiene is good, and the sea-view breakfast environment is pleasant. It's convenient to get there by taking the Galaxy Shuttle and crossing the skybridge after getting off. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to The Venetian, but it only runs a few times a day. The facilities are a bit old, especially the hairdryer. A deposit of 500 MOP is required, payable only by Alipay or cash, WeChat is not accepted. The service is decent; I didn't have a power adapter for charging, and they sent one up immediately.

Excellent
MMuxi456A legendary hotel. Designed by Zaha Hadid, with an investment of 6.5 billion, utilizing 28,000 tons of steel, and managed by Lawrence Ho, it opened in 2018. The service is impeccable; guests are escorted to their rooms, and luggage is handled for them. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, and the fully smart features were truly ahead of their time 8 years ago. Don't miss the open-air pool on the 50th floor. Breakfast is served directly to the room. Guests in executive rooms can also have breakfast at the lounge on the 30th floor. It's a semi-buffet style, and the quality is superb. I do have to complain about the behavior of some mainland Chinese guests. Half of them were wearing slippers in the lounge, speaking loudly, playing audio on their phones without headphones, and generally lacking etiquette. Such 'uncouth' individuals really shouldn't be present in such an establishment.

The front desk staff were warm and professional, making check-in and check-out efficient. They were also patient and prompt in answering any questions I had. AAllyBBMay 18-20, 2026. Sunny, cloudy, rainy 🌦️ The weather wasn't what we expected. The pool looked great in the pictures, and we had originally planned to swim at the beach and the pool, but due to the rain, we couldn't enjoy the pool facilities. The hotel has several restaurants. The breakfast buffet offered plenty of food. For dinner, we had Chinese cuisine; it was less crowded on a weekday, allowing us to quietly enjoy the delicious food. The food was good! 👍🏻 There's a kids' play area, suitable for younger children. The room was quite spacious and had a balcony, making it a comfortable resort hotel. There's a shuttle bus to another hotel, but you need to pay attention to its schedule, as transportation isn't very convenient. #Vacation #SlowLiving #Macau 😎
