"We had a perfect stay at Pan Pacific Suzhou! The suite was incredibly spacious and comfortable, consisting of two connected rooms. One room featured a king-size bed, a large living room, and a luxurious bathroom with a huge bathtub. The second room had two single beds, which was perfect for our two adult children. The layout was very thoughtful, with two separate bathrooms and toilets, plus an additional guest toilet in the living room. With four of us staying together, we never had to wait for the bathroom — a huge convenience! The hotel grounds are absolutely stunning, featuring beautiful gardens, traditional architecture, and a pagoda, making it feel like a scenic attraction in itself. As a special bonus, the hotel provided a complimentary 60-minute Hanfu experience, allowing us to take wonderful photos around the property. Honestly, the hotel is so beautiful that you could easily spend a day exploring the grounds without leaving. Another thoughtful touch was that each room was provided with an entire carton of bottled mineral water, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, an exceptional stay with spacious accommodations, beautiful surroundings, and excellent hospitality. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Suzhou!"

Hotel near Slender West Lake Tourist District,Yangzhou
Yangzhou State Guesthouse nestles serenely alongside the Slender West Lake, facing scenic spots such as the Long Dike in Spring Willows(also known as Changdichunliu), Xuyuan Garden, and Little Gold Hill across the water, embracing the delicate charm of the lake's shimmering beauty. Encompassing 400 acres of landscaped gardens, the property features fifteen distinct buildings thoughtfully arranged throughout the grounds. Among them are Buildings 1, 2, and 9, which exemplify the artistry of classical garden design, while Buildings 8 and 18 showcase contemporary aesthetics, together creating a modern garden sanctuary that honors tradition while embracing the future. More than just a place to stay, Yangzhou State Guesthouse is a pilgrimage destination for Huaiyang cuisine. It is home to the "Two-Diamond" Black Pearl-rated restaurant Quyuan Teahouse and the "One-Diamond" restaurant Shan, offering guests unparalleled culinary experiences. The property also boasts a range of premium facilities, including a 50-meter standard hot spring swimming pool, the elegant Lanpu Teahouse, a scenic gym, and a Chinese traditional-style travel photography studio, catering to guests' comprehensive leisure needs. "Discover a city by staying within a garden." We go beyond providing mere accommodation, striving to create an immersive living experience that integrates Yangzhou's regional spirit and carries forward its millennia-old cultural heritage. Every moment spent here is destined to become a cherished urban memory.

"The hotel kindly upgraded me to Building 11 at Hongqiao Fang. This time, they also included a couple's package for Slender West Lake Hot Spring Resort, which came with a 20 yuan voucher I used for ice cream and grilled sausage. The hotel also offered a free freshly squeezed watermelon juice if you posted a review on Xiaohongshu. The scenery within the State Guesthouse is picturesque, and the area around Qu Garden Teahouse is like a small corner of Slender West Lake itself – absolutely beautiful. The hotel also has a hidden gem: you can book a 'Bathing Time' service for the evening through their WeChat official account. There are four options: a rose bath, a skin-brightening sweet orange bath, a relaxing lavender bath, and a parent-child option. You need to book in advance, but if it's fully booked, a quick word with the front desk usually sorts it out. This was for a weekday stay; I'm not sure about weekends. Here are some of the complimentary services I've discovered and unlocked while staying at the hotel: 1. **Swan Lake**: You can ask the front desk for free swan and fish food (unlimited supply) to feed the swans, ducks, and koi. 2. **Shuttle Service**: Free shuttle to the swimming pool, Qu Garden, or any other building. There's also a free mini-train tour of the gardens with commentary. 3. **Spring Water Swimming Pool**: Absolutely no chlorine smell! The 50-meter lap pool has floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning garden views. It would be a huge miss not to go for a swim if you're staying here. 4. **Bathing Time**"

Any requests made to the front desk were met with a quick response and a polite, gentle attitude. The public areas were cleaned daily, free of any unpleasant odors, and the elevator control system ensured high security, which gave me great peace of mind traveling with elderly family members and children. Hotel near The Ming Palace and Nanjing Museum Area,Nanjing
UrCove by Hyatt Nanjing Zhongshan Mountain National Park.Located in Zhongshan Scenic Area, Xuanwu District, Nanjing City, it was renovated from the former site of the National Revolutionary Army School, a historical and cultural relic protection building. The hotel is located adjacent to key universities such as Nanjing University of Science and Technology and Nanjing Agricultural University. It only takes 10 minutes by subway to reach the shopping district of Xinjiekou in Nanjing, allowing you to experience the Republican style while quickly immersing yourself in the modern urban business atmosphere. The hotel is only a 10 minute drive from Nanjing Museum and a 20 minute drive from well-known attractions such as Nanjing Confucius Temple and Laomen East. It is also only a 20 minute drive from Nanjing South Station and Nanjing Railway Station. From the hotel, you can walk to attractions such as the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, Meiling Palace, and Zhongshan Mausoleum. Enjoy the convenience brought by the unique geographical location for business travelers while strolling, and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere in the bustling and noisy city.

"The hotel environment is fantastic, transformed from a Republican-era building, which gives it a wonderful feel and really shows the designer's thoughtful touches. There are many large trees and plants throughout the hotel, creating a great resort-like atmosphere. The rooms are spacious with large windows, offering excellent natural light that brightens your mood. The hotel's breakfast buffet is impressive, especially the douhua (tofu pudding) which you can customize with your own toppings – the savory version is delicious! The fruit and vegetable selection is abundant, and having a bowl of duck blood vermicelli soup each morning is the perfect start to the day. The laundry room has two washers and two dryers. You can even check their real-time status on the hotel TV, which is very convenient. Rooms with a small garden are even more comfortable; you can do some stretches in the morning. While there's no gym, it's not a big issue. You can easily go for a run nearby, as the hotel is located right in the Zhongshan Scenic Area. A short jog uphill will take you to Entrance No. 5 of the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum. Rooms are equipped with smart voice control for opening curtains, turning on lights, the TV, and air conditioning. The only slightly less intelligent aspect is the light control. If you turn on the bathroom light when getting up at night, it also switches on two other lights in the room. And it seems there's no physical switch to turn those two off; you have to reach for the smart device by the bedside to switch to sleep mode. The rose black tea bags in the room are delicious, and the mini-fridge is restocked daily with complimentary drinks like Sprite, Coke, and soda – a definite plus! Milk's service was excellent, five-star worthy! The hotel offers great value for money, and every staff member is very welcoming."

The Xuzhou Marriott Hotel Lakeview provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Xuzhou Marriott Hotel Lakeview offers a pleasant stay in Xuzhou for those traveling for business or leisure. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Xuzhou Railway Station located approximately 4km away and Xuzhou Guanyin International Airport roughly 46km away. Being just minutes away from Jiangsu Normal University Yunlong Campus Metro Station allows guests to explore the city with ease. This hotel is located near many of Xuzhou's attractions including Hubu Mountain, Pengzu Garden and Qianlong Palace (Heping Road). At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. This Xuzhou hotel provides parking on site. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"We were three college roommates reuniting after many years, and we booked a family room. It had one large bed and one small bed, which was perfect for us to chat and catch up. The location of this family room was fantastic; it offered views of both Yunlong Mountain and Yunlong Lake. The room itself was quite spacious, and the scenery outside the window was beautiful. The service was also excellent; they even brought us some small desserts to the room. I'm definitely planning to stay here again next time I bring my kids."

Hotel near Guanqian Street/Pingjiang Street,Suzhou
"An absolutely wonderful experience! If you're coming to Suzhou, staying in a garden-style setting is a must. This hotel is a conversion of a 300-year-old house. While the building is old, all the facilities are incredibly modern, including a gym, pool, and even Dyson hair dryers. It's just a bridge away from Pingjiang Road, so you can enjoy the bustling lights on one side while having your own tranquil oasis on the other (the courtyard rooms are behind the wall you see in the video). The hotel breakfast is excellent, a semi-buffet of Chinese and Western small plates, complemented by your choice of a Chinese or Western main course. The breakfast noodles are especially delicious, served with fresh water chestnuts and shrimp. I particularly want to commend the hotel's service; it was truly warm and welcoming. The hotel is a convenient 20-minute walk (or 5-minute bike ride) to Suzhou Museum, Humble Administrator's Garden, and Lion Grove Garden. Ou Garden is a 10-minute walk. Wangshi Garden is a bit further, about a 15-minute bike ride. I'd recommend getting a joint ticket for the first three gardens, which is valid for three days. There are also some fantastic restaurants nearby, and both Pingjiangfu and Jinhaihua are within walking distance. If your budget allows, definitely go for the Songmaoju Suite – it's a private house with its own courtyard, so you won't have to worry about footsteps from above or noise from the shared courtyard. They also have smaller standard rooms to suit various budgets. A small heads-up: one wall of the courtyard rooms faces Pingjiang Road, so it can be a bit noisy during the day, but don't worry, it's very quiet at night. Just a minor suggestion: the super-large bathroom with a bathtub, double sinks, and three separate areas is fantastic, but there's only one hook. I'd suggest adding a few more. Also, the wardrobe could use some pant hangers."

"Arrived at the hotel early in the morning after the Dragon Boat Festival, and they upgraded my room. The room was quite spacious, still retaining that classic Hyatt style. Surprisingly, there was a telescope in the room, though it wasn't particularly useful. The hotel's location is absolutely excellent. You can take the subway directly from Xuzhou East Station to right downstairs. Below the hotel is a bustling commercial street with shops and restaurants of all kinds. To the south, you can walk to Huilongwo and Hubu Mountain. Just across the street to the north is the Confucius Temple, the 1818 Night Market, and Fuguo Street is also nearby. AAnonymous UserI rarely write long reviews, but this hotel, at best, is a business hotel. Don't try to market it as a family-friendly hotel when it's clearly not. Just adding a few kid activities and a small train doesn't make it one. 1. The room had absolutely no children's amenities: no kids' toothbrushes, no kids' slippers. You couldn't even install a bed rail because there was nowhere to attach it. 😂 2. The showerhead was broken, with water leaking from the side. 3. There were only two extremely high pillows. Seriously, don't standard hotels usually provide four pillows? Two high, two low? I ended up having to sleep with clothes propped under my head. 4. The front desk staff (the guy with glasses) during both check-in and check-out had the same unhelpful attitude as a budget hotel chain's front desk. In fact, a budget hotel might even be more welcoming. If you don't want to work during the May Day holiday, just switch shifts! 😠 5. The housekeeping auntie definitely hasn't been trained. She was pushing a huge mattress and nearly hit a child while turning a corner. The only positive feedback I have is for the kind female front desk staff member who enthusiastically helped me find my lost ID card.

SSpongebobsquarepantsFive-Day Stay in Nanjing Check-in Experience We arrived early at around 6 AM due to the difficulty of booking train tickets during the holiday season. Although check-in was at 3 PM, the staff kindly accommodated us with an early check-in for an additional fee. Accommodation We stayed in two types of rooms during our visit: Single Room - Spacious and located in a peaceful, quiet area of the property. RV Room - Situated near the camping area where families and friends gather around a large bonfire for singing, BBQ, and games. **Ratings** Staff: 8/10 - Friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Shuttle Service: 10/10 - The driver was exceptionally pleasant and always smiling. Since my daughter has asthma and walking long distances is difficult for her, we frequently requested shuttle service between locations. This was especially helpful as ride-share drivers typically drop off at the entrance, which is quite a walk from the rooms and facilities. Breakfast: 10/10 - Excellent variety of traditional Chinese dishes. They were accommodating when my husband requested takeout. Cleanliness: 10/10 - Both rooms were clean, including the beds, towels, and bathrooms. As my daughter’s asthma is triggered by dust, I was pleased that the rooms were clean enough that she didn’t experience any sneezing or symptoms. We all slept well for the entire five days. **Things to Consider** It’s highly recommended to have your own car, as the property is quite far from the city center. If you enjoy nature and outdoor activities, this place is ideal. Activities include: - ATV rides - Fishing area - Playground (note: adults are charged rather than children, so it’s more economical for only one adult to enter) - Small animal area featuring rabbits, ostriches, and llamas (15 RMB entry) - Train ride (30 RMB) The coffee shop has a wonderful atmosphere and aesthetic appeal, making it popular for photos. The property itself is spacious and perfect for leisurely walks. There’s also a temple nearby, approximately 20 minutes away by car. **Challenges We Faced** My daughter developed a fever and experienced diarrhea during our stay. When I called the front desk for help, the staff member wasn’t very accommodating and suggested my husband go buy medicine. This was difficult for us as foreigners who don’t speak the language well. I felt sad and helpless, especially when we couldn’t get any taxis or cabs to pick us up. We wanted to take her to the hospital, but no cabs were available. However, the next morning, a staff member spoke with me who was extremely kind and accommodating. They even offered to drive my daughter to the hospital, which I declined because we needed to catch our train and she was feeling better after taking medicine. They drove us to the South Railway Station and thoughtfully gave my daughter bags and drinks. It was a very kind gesture that we truly appreciated.

AAnonymous UserThe rooms were clean and tidy, and they provided everything for kids, including footstools, toilet seats, and toothbrushes. The cleaning staff was exceptionally good. However, the water park staff was a bit indifferent and lacked a welcoming smile. The golf service was quite mediocre. On the other hand, the rock climbing instructors, one chubby and one skinny, were fantastic, making it easy for kids to feel comfortable and relaxed. The evening theatrical performances were also outstanding, and the on-site management was warm and attentive. The desserts at the buffet were an absolute highlight, especially the row of large sliced cakes—simply amazing! The dinner buffet offered a wide variety of dishes and is definitely recommended. The duck blood and vermicelli soup for breakfast was also a standout. The front desk service was good; they helped with luggage and guided us to our room. However, the hotel should really provide a map as it's quite difficult to navigate for first-time visitors. With so many activities and staff, it's understandable that service quality can be inconsistent, with some good and some not so good aspects. But overall, the experience was great and highly recommended. Therefore, I give Club Med Xianlin Resort a full five-star rating.

GGuest UserI specifically booked the garden waterscape room at Kimpton Bamboo Grove to experience the poetic charm of living by the water in Jiangnan, which completely cured my travel fatigue. The floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows throughout the room directly face the entire garden pond. White walls, bamboo shadows, rockeries, and green plants are all reflected in the water. When there's no wind, the pond is as smooth as a mirror, with the sky and clouds reflected, blending reality and illusion, like a flowing Suzhou ink painting. Stepping onto the scenic small balcony, all I could hear was the gentle gurgling of water and birds chirping in the woods, completely isolating me from the city's hustle and bustle. The privacy was excellent. The room was spacious and elegant, with modern light luxury soft furnishings complementing the Oriental garden aesthetic. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, the bathroom was well-designed with a wet and dry separation, and smart devices were fully equipped. The cleanliness was meticulous and impeccable. The toiletries had a warm and sophisticated scent. Upon check-in, a sweet welcome fruit platter was provided, and the first round of the mini-bar was complimentary. My butler, Cherry, was responsive and attentive, showing thoughtfulness in every detail. Strolling through the hotel's gardens, winding corridors line the water, surrounded by lush bamboo. Every step offers a picture-perfect scene. On sunny days, sitting on the terrace, drinking tea and admiring the waterscape, a gentle breeze creates ripples across the water. On rainy days, a thin mist drifts over the water, creating a hazy, misty atmosphere. There's no need to rush to crowded gardens; you can privately enjoy the charm of Suzhou's waters in your room. The location is convenient for getting around, close to the city moat and old town alleys. For those who prefer quiet and elegant scenery, the waterscape room is the first choice to experience an immersive Jiangnan waterside life. I will definitely book here again on my next trip to Suzhou. I genuinely recommend it!

GGuest UserAn absolutely wonderful experience! Also, the wardrobe could use some pant hangers.

GGuest UserHighly recommended! Before checking in, I thought it was an old hotel and didn't have high expectations. However, I was pleasantly surprised upon entering the room. Although the decor is over 10 years old, all the facilities are of good quality. The furniture, carpets, and bathroom fixtures, though a bit dated, had a better feel than what was shown in the promotional pictures. The water pressure in the bathroom was excellent! The cleaning was very thorough, and the room had fresh air with no strange odors (no old room smell). The room also offered an open view and was quiet! The front desk and restaurant staff I encountered during my stay were very helpful and efficient in handling requests and resolving issues. You could tell they were well-trained! Considering the location, service, and quality, it offers great value for money! Suggestions for improvement: There was only one tissue box at the washbasin. I recommend placing another one in the bedroom area. Also, it might be a good idea to periodically check the seals in the shower and toilet partitions, as there was a minor leak one day.

GGuest UserWe booked a private family room, and the housekeeper, Ms. Zhou, checked us in and took us to the guest room. The room has a large bed and a small bed. The bathing pool is in the yard. If you need to soak in the hot spring, just tell Ms. Zhou and she will happily come over and help fill the hot spring water. She is a very nice person. I really like her. No. I had to go to the public hot springs to soak with others, it was very comfortable. I also went to Nanshan Bamboo Sea. The air was very good. I had a very good accommodation experience this time. I will go there often in the future!

GGuest UserI came to Nanjing for Liu Yuning's concert, and the Regalia Hotel I chose this time truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel is about 3 kilometers from the venue, so a taxi ride was very quick. After the show, I could get back to my room quickly to rest, avoiding a lot of traffic headaches. The location is absolutely perfect for concert-goers. What touched me even more was the hotel's service, especially Ada at the front desk. She was so warm and attentive, making me feel incredibly welcomed from check-in to check-out. It added a lot of warmth to my solo fan-chasing trip. Although the room wasn't huge, it was decorated very cozily and was impeccably clean. The bedding was comfortable, allowing me to get a good night's sleep after days of rushing around and the excitement of the concert. The only 'minor regret' was Nanjing's weather these past two days – the temperature fluctuated quite a bit, which was a bit unexpected. However, the hotel itself was always warm and comfortable. If I come to Nanjing again for a show or to visit, Regalia will definitely be my first choice!
