Arrived past 2pm the rooms were not ready. So we went for lunch at the hotel noddle place. After lunch, past 3 pm only one room was ready. The room I had was suppose to be non smoking but someone smoked in the room and it lingered in the bed; pillow etc. we couldn’t change it as hotel was fully booked. So I had to suck it up. Maybe the hotel should impose a cleaning and deodorizer fee as a penalty or as a deterrent for people who smoke in a non-smoking rooms. The room heating didn’t keep the room warm. The explanation was the insulation is poor and they gave me a portable heater. The other room had carpet ( mine has floor cold floorboards) and there were no cigarette stench and it was warm. So my advise is to get a room with carpet. Breakfast room was lovely, the breakfast was okay, however you won’t get any staff attention. The saving grace was the Panmen Garden which you should visit both day and night. It was great because it’s not busy as everyone else goes to the Humble administrator garden. So there are ample photo opportunities without swarms of tourist. However the promised Panmen scenic area tour with the hotel is no longer available. The hotel should not list it as an experience you can have when you book and room. Overall it’s a beautiful hotel with unique character due to it history and many dignitaries stay here. Being attached to Panmen garden was a plus. You will need to take a DiDi for Suzhou other attractions. Free Hanfu experience was good as my daughter got to utilized it. We also dined at the 4th floor Italian restaurant which serves very good Italian food. Hotel staff are helpful. Wi-Fi is non existent due to full capacity of the hotel and the bandwidth is just insufficient to support the load and it also depends where your room is situated.

Nice location as it's near the subway. Rooms are spacious and clean. Misgivings of the establishment are that the room walls are relatively thin, and you'll have sleepless nights if you encounter inconsiderate neighbours who talk late into the night. Hotel security and management are slightly slack in permitting kids to scream and shout in the corridors. Having said the above, it could possibly also be a cultural issue in China, where civic mindedness doesn't exist.

For several years, the Pullman Hotel at Nanjing Lukou Airport has been a lifesaver for me as I have frequently traveled to and from the USA and China. Because the only scheduled flights between Shanghai and Nanjing are either very early in the. morning (from Nanjing to Shanghai) or late at night (from Shanghai to Nanjing), I can spend one night at the Pullman Hotel at the Nanjing airport, either before an early morning flight or after a late night flight.  This hotel is excellent in every way - convenient and affordable, comfortable with every amenity, with quality service - I would recommend it to anyone who needs an airport hotel in Nanjing, China.

Hotel room was exceptional - 2 spacious rooms with 2 separate bathrooms and meticulously clean! The staff at the Front Desk, Mr Fang in particular, were all exceptionally courteous & helpful. Location was excellent! Most highly recommended!

We were warmly welcomed by the staff at the front desk. Both accommodated us in a friendly manner and kindly arranged our rooms to our liking, patiently answered questions, and even went as far as to recommend places to eat after overhearing our discussion on lunch. The check-in process was speedy and efficient; we were soon showed to our rooms after only a few minutes of waiting. The rooms were cosy and homey, and the breakfast is decent taste wise with a wide and healthy selection of different cuisines. Overall, this was a wonderful experience with exceptional service. Opposite Ping Jiang Road

This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway in Jinling Hotel Nanjing 新街口. The downtown area on Main Street is a best kept secret and the Jinling Hotel offers everything you need if you don’t feel like venturing out. We were given an upgrade to the executive room and breakfast was served on the 56th floor and we had an amazing time. The atmosphere and service were great. Definitely a must do if you are looking for a good time. The staff at this property are all great! They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable especially to Mr. 邢阳, thank you for making our stay a pleasant one.

We were very pleased with our 3 nights stay at the Shangri-la Nanjing. The service was excellent with turndown service every night and free fruits. It has a smart toilet that kept the seat warm - great for our winter experience - and an automated bidet with a click on the button. We had our breakfast buffet at the executive lounge which also offered high tea and evening cocktail. The pastries such as the plain and the Danish croissants were very well-made. Strongly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is located at Nanjing airport some 10 min walk if you walk quickly or just 15 minutes normal speed, which is nice after or before a flight to stretch your legs and get some air. The hotel also offers free pick-up and drop-off service which is very convenient for early departures. The room is decent size and my room had seat in front of the window as well as work space and a comfortable bed. The room was clean as was the bathroom, had nice shower. bathrobe and slippers provided. Wifi was good, small shop downstairs for drink and snacks. Did not check out other services provided as I had an early flight. Very handy for airport and comfortable stay definitely return if I arrive late or depart early from Nanjing.

We stayed 1 night from 3-4 Nov. A really good and affordable hotel to stay at in Suzhou. The receptionists (one senior and one new guy) were very kind and helpful. They offered to carry our luggages up and down as there's no lift to the hotel. The room was also very spacious and they even provided an amenities kit - sewing kit. Overall a 10/10, we will definitely return again.

Stayed 5 nights. Location wise, it's great. Right at the junction into Confucius Temple Walking Street. Plenty of food places. Metro is a short walk away. If you have luggages, better to walk from Confucius Temple Station rather than Wudingmen Station. Better walking conditions, less motorcycles

Excellent. Location is good, breakfast is good and the people serving us are very polite and friendly. Toilet is clean and the hotel forbids smoking. But I caught one guy smoking at the lift once at level 5 😔. The street is busy and quite noisy. For light sleeper, I don't recommend this hotel but I will choose this hotel again even though I'm a light sleeper.

Strategic location with nearby to most of the tourist spot and local food. Friendly customer services and easy for communication.

The hotel is clean and room is quite spaciou. Hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful even if you cannot speak Chinese. Location is also not far from Suzhou landscapes and cheap to call taxi or travel by train. Would highly recommend and definitely come back next time!

Room had a strong smoke smell due to many visitors illegally smoking within the room. Told the staff and they took awhile to get it fixed but eventually changed a room for me. Location was really really good as it is located right above a food street. The hotel even provided free washing machine and dryers

The location is very close to Railway station, it took only 10 minutes to go there by metro. There's a famous shopping street very close to the hotel. There's also a 24h shop close to Hotel. The room we stayed was clean and spacious. The downside was hearing sound from the road everyday.The provided bathing gel and shampoo is White Tea flavoured which may not be liked by many.

First and foremost, this one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever visited. Every corner is decorated exquisitely, every detail taken with the utmost care. The location is acceptable, with a shopping mall with some restaurants at a 12 minute walk, where you can also take the metro, which is the recommended way of transport given the traffic in the city. However, if you want to DIDI into places, it is a bit far from major shopping centers and tourist attractions (30-45 minutes depending on traffic). But if you don't mind the brief walk to the metro then this is the perfect choice of beauty, comfort, and service. The rooms are spotlessly clean, great views from the balcony, good breakfast, and excellent service form staff.

Stayed 5 nights. Location wise, it's great. Right at the junction into Confucius Temple Walking Street. Plenty of food places. Metro is a short walk away. If you have luggages, better to walk from Confucius Temple Station rather than Wudingmen Station. Better walking conditions, less motorcycles

The location was excellent, and the open facilities were very good. I understand it's a ”China thing” that prevents outdoor swimming pools from being open to the public other than July - August - but it's ridiculous and one that a 5-star hotel should change. You advertise having an indoor and outdoor pool; however, 85% of the entire year, it is closed.... so how can you say you have an outdoor pool? It's false advertising. It was 32 degrees this weekend and perfect weather for the outdoor pool, but you didn't have it open - thus, I took away two stars on facilities. The service in the restaurant was EXCELLENT on the 45th floor, extremely good and well worth the 5stars; the front desk people also on the 1st floor incredible; however, the service in the (the indoor!!!) swimming pool was extremely average - feeling like being served from student intern vs. any 5star customer service at all. The service in the bar on the 78th floor was highly average. also, for 5star, with us having to ask for drinks and not a single smile when serving the drinks, while the 78th-floor views are breathtaking, the service was let down. Last but not least, our parents-in-law traveled with us and rang the front desk for help with the TV. They rang twice, and they were waiting for someone to help them. I have stayed at Intercontinental Hotels in other locations, and the service is always very good. While some departments at this location were good, they needed to be more balanced by the inconsistency of the other departments.

Great location just nearby Xinjiekou metro station.lots of shopping and eateries around. The buffet with oysters just opposite the hotel is a must try. Room are adequate and comfortable.

Great location and a large, comfortable room. I was able to check in before the scheduled time, which was a nice touch from the hotel. Everything here was easy, there are shops nearby, the train station is less than a 10 minute walk away and I enjoyed my stay. One criticism I have is the breakfast - it was incredibly low variety and low quality for what I expected, only really some yoghurts, rice and vegetables, and I couldn't find coffee or drinks anywhere either. Maybe I missed them, but if so, it was not easy to find, and so I maintain my breakfast criticism. But the rest of the stay was great!

Location is excellent. Many high rating restaurants around. 6min walk to the City Wall. Right at the historic area to shop and walk around. The staff are super friendly, they make so much effort to communicate with us in English via phone. Also, when we checked out, they gave us 2 fans for souvenirs. The decor of the hotel is very nice. Moreover they even have a clothes hanger line in the washroom, very thoughtful. Highly recommend!

A cute hotel with a lovely Korean district right below! So close to the metro station! The room was generally clean and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend given the price!

The hotel is rated as a five-star hotel, but the interior is very old-fashioned and mediocre. The TV is equipment from 15 years ago, and the foreign signal cuts out every five minutes. Although we brought children and the hotel description mentioned child-related amenities, there were no children's bathrobes or slippers. After calling, we were given adult versions instead. The mattress was okay, but the water flow in the bathroom was almost non-existent, and the ceiling shower was basically unusable. When checking in, they directly informed us that there would be no hot water starting from 8 AM the next day, with no apologies, just saying that if you need hot water, don't use it after 8 AM the next day. This is the quality of their five-star rating.

Old oriental style hotel witha rich history. Look majestic and grand on the outside. (Interior of hotel in many nooks n corners are poorly maintained) Room service is superb. Super comfortable n firm bed. Located right within 太湖 (taihu lake) so you can jog/walk around the beautiful lake and giant ferris wheel in the morning and take in the fresh air. With outdoor pool n gym. Hotel food is mainly big fancy chinese restaurants n buffet. No casual dining . No western selection except the high tea cafe which serves some sandwiches and pasta. Hotel can organise ferry trip to turtlehead island

Everything is good , clean, and well maintained. I really enjoyed staying there. Hotel staff was so polite to me.

We are nearby residents and often pass by the hotel. When relatives come, we book a room. It is really good, with new facilities and high cost performance. The superior king-size bed room gave us a free upgrade to a wooden king-size bed room. Usually check-out at 2 o'clock, and it is free to extend to more than 5 o'clock in the afternoon. Below the hotel is the Jinlun Commercial Plaza, shops, clothing stores, fast food, and some restaurants on the first, second and third floors, including Northeastern cuisine, Singaporean cuisine, Jiangsu and Zhejiang cuisine, hot pot, and Korean cuisine. There are also several Starbucks, Burger King, Grace, convenient life, and free parking in the underground garage. I sincerely recommend it! I will choose it again in the future!

My family and I recently spent one night at the Hualuxe Wuxi Taihu Hotel and had a wonderful experience all round. The reception upon check in was so warm and welcoming and two of the staff spoke perfect English, making the process of checking in seamless. Even if language had been a barrier, the professionalism shown by the reception staff would have made it painless! We enjoyed leisurely drinks in the lobby after check-in where we were, once again, received with warmth and efficiency. At breakfast, which had a good selection of both local and foreign options, every single staff member greeted us with smiles and willingness to serve. We were certainly impressed by the professionalism demonstrated by all staff we encountered and were happy we had chosen the Hualuxe Wuxi Taihu Hotel as our destination. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again!

We received a complimentary upgrade, as we had not yet received our purchased tickets to Nianhua Wan due to not having the China identity (as informed by trip agent & hotel). The breakfast provided was satisfying, offering a good start to our day. Despite the hotel's older appearance, it is well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Overall, we were pleased with our experience and appreciated the hotel's efforts to accommodate us.

We loved the look and location of the hotel and the views of here breathtaking, the only negative comment I have is that it did not have air con, have never been in a 5 star hotel without aircon and it was so hot during the night. Otherwise I can not stop praising this hotel and recommend it to anyone that want to be close to a good mall the subway and the park.

I had a very good experience during my stay . Excellent location, right next to Sanyang metro station, spotless room and spectacular views right from the room. The room is a full service apartment with all facilities. The washing machine is very useful. Staff are very professional and friendly. Special thanks to Karen, Amber,Mr Zhu and Grace for their excellent service. Will definitely stay again

At first, I was wondering whether it is a right choice to book a different hotel on my 2nd visit to Wuxi however, I decided to give it a go. We are satisfied with it. 1) Our room was ready earlier than the check in time. 2) The room was spacious, clean and comfortable without any unpleasant smells. We slept like a baby LoL 3) The front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The front desk always serve us a cup of hot tea whenever we are the counter 4) Free laundry service provided 5) The location is excellent - it's really near to exit 27 of Sanyang Square Station (5min walk). There are shopping malls, restaurants and bakeries nearby. Would definitely stay again next time.
