"The food at the hotel was excellent, and there were so many activities to enjoy. The VIP queue experience was also great. From a value-for-money perspective, even though it was expensive, I felt it was totally worth it. However, there were a few minor shortcomings: 1. A very small number of staff members tried to shirk responsibility. When we first returned to the hotel from Xiangshawan, the waiting area was completely empty. A drowsy older gentleman told us to just get on the next jeep that arrived. As soon as the jeep pulled up, about a dozen people appeared, led by a female staff member. She immediately started bossing us around, saying it was for *them* and that we should go queue up. I was quite annoyed and said that when we arrived, there was no one here, and now that *they* have arrived, we're suddenly told to queue up, meaning we'd be stuck behind these dozen-plus people and God knows how long we'd have to wait. Seeing my strong tone, this female staff member simply said, ”I don't know,” shrunk her neck, and stayed silent. She made no effort to help us or manage the other group, acting as if we should just sort it out ourselves. Fortunately, another vehicle arrived quickly, and the driver was excellent, immediately saying there was space for everyone and that there were plenty of cars. If it weren't for the good driver, and me being tired, I would have definitely noted down the employee number of that staff member who was so aggressive at first but then immediately cowered and dodged responsibility when faced with someone assertive. 2. The wait time for the small train shuttle to and from the room was very long. I suggest informing guests how long the wait will be. The first time we left, it arrived in about 2 minutes, so I assumed it would always be quick. The second time, I waited for ten minutes and it still hadn't arrived. Only after calling again was I told it would be another five minutes. I recommend informing guests of the expected wait time during the initial booking to help them decide whether to continue waiting. Furthermore, the so-called QR code reservation system was not user-friendly at all. You couldn't note the number of people, it didn't show how many people were ahead of you, and I didn't see any time advantage. I specifically took a photo of the QR code and made a reservation while I was in the lobby, but when I went upstairs, I was still behind people who only reported their room numbers to the staff *after* arriving upstairs. Overall, the positives far outweigh the negatives, and I definitely plan to come back in the summer."

"The hotel's accommodation environment is excellent, and even though it's a pet-friendly hotel, it manages to be very clean with no unpleasant odors. Our room offered a view of cattle and horses grazing on the mountainside from the window. If you woke up early, you could even see herders guiding their livestock up the mountain, sometimes passing close to the hotel to drink water, or even walking by the hotel fence. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel's selection of local products was excellent; we bought many souvenirs and local specialties to give to friends, and the hotel even offered a home delivery service. The quality of the toiletries provided by the hotel was also very good. They provided Baishishan bottled water, and the tissues were especially thick and high-quality. There were also disposable toilet seat covers, disposable bath balls, bath towels, and bathtub mats, which made for a very comfortable bath. Plus, the small gifts given at check-out were very practical and delicious. We were just in time for the last bonfire party of the evening and got to experience a Mongolian-style bonfire night. We enjoyed a small concert featuring local traditional instruments, a spectacular fireworks display, and iron-spark performances. In addition, there was a stargazing activity at the observatory at night. The staff showed us different constellations, and finally, we even got to see the craters on the moon's surface through a high-end, hundreds-of-thousands-yuan telescope, experiencing a professional telescope's view of the moon. The hotel offers many activities. Besides those that might be canceled due to extremely cold weather, there are regular activities like petting baby goats and archery. The baby goats are incredibly cute and beautiful, with small horns. They are very docile and let you pet them freely, and you can even pick them up, though sometimes they can be a bit squirmy when held. I looked them up, and they are a local specialty breed. Their fur is smooth and soft, very pleasant to touch, and you can even pick some grass from the hotel's lawn to feed them."

"Traveling to Hohhot, I chose the Wanda Vista Hotel, and it exceeded my expectations. The hotel environment is elegant and tranquil, with a great ambiance. The guest rooms are spacious and bright, with impeccable hygiene, and the bathroom features a wet/dry separation, making for a very comfortable stay. The entire staff is professional and attentive; any requests are handled quickly, and they are humble and patient with guests. The breakfast offers a rich variety of options, including local specialty dishes. The surrounding area has excellent amenities, making shopping and dining very convenient. Staying here was relaxing and reassuring, adding many wonderful experiences to my trip. I will definitely prioritize this hotel next time I visit Hohhot."

"Traveling with family, we booked a suite and it was incredibly spacious, with two bathrooms which was very convenient. There was also a separate living area. Although it's an older five-star hotel (some prefer modern design, but I lean towards classic styles), the facilities are still very well-maintained and up-to-date. The service was exceptional, from the doorman at the entrance, to the front desk during check-in, and even at the restaurant – everyone provided warm and enthusiastic service. Because the Executive Lounge was undergoing renovations, the hotel generously upgraded the Executive benefits to a buffet dinner, which was a very classy move. The restaurant service was excellent, and the variety of food was impressive. A special thank you to Assistant Director Song from the F&B department for their warm and thoughtful service. Also, a shout-out to the chef who makes the shumai for breakfast – it was delicious! And the Inner Mongolian milk tea was fantastic!"

"Facilities: The hotel boasts comprehensive facilities and an intelligent system. I didn't use the public hot springs, but soaked twice in the private hot spring pool in the courtyard, which was wonderful. Cleanliness: Both indoor and outdoor areas were impeccably clean; I was very satisfied. Environment: The rooms have a unique and stylish design, very beautiful and comfortable. The surrounding area is surrounded by mountains and forests, making it very tranquil. Service: The service was attentive. The concierge, Ms. Ma Rongrong, warmly picked us up and dropped us off in the hotel shuttle bus when we went out and returned. We were very grateful to her. In addition, the hotel breakfast was very plentiful."

"Chifeng was the last stop on our Inner Mongolia self-driving tour, and we chose to stay at the Wanda Realm Hotel. My actual experience was generally very good, matching the description on Trip.com. The location is excellent, the environment is nice, and it's close to Wanda Plaza, which is convenient for shopping and supplies. The hotel is right next to Chifeng River, and it was lovely to enjoy the view and take a walk along the river after dinner. The hotel service was great; all the staff I encountered were proactive and service-minded. The breakfast was rich and varied, with both Chinese and Western options, a noodle station, and local snacks. The restaurant staff were enthusiastic, and the auntie at the noodle station was particularly thoughtful – a big thumbs up! The hotel has parking, which is convenient for those driving. A small suggestion would be to provide disposable toilet seat covers (though we always bring our own when we travel). Overall, 5 stars, highly recommended – you won't be disappointed!"

"This is a newly opened wellness hotel in Arxan with pretty comprehensive facilities and a nice environment. For my trip to Arxan, I booked their private hot spring courtyard room, and the hardware in the room was quite good. The hotel has its own fairly large bathhouse, which offers free admission to guests. A unique feature in the bathhouse is the interesting transparent swimming pool. The hotel's breakfast selection is a bit limited, but the taste is good. During my four-night stay, there were some shortcomings due to the hotel being relatively new. However, the staff and hotel manager were very communicative and patiently listened to guests' feedback, working to resolve issues and fulfill requests. I'd like to commend the hotel staff for this. I hope the hotel can quickly improve in all areas to provide guests with a true home-away-from-home feeling. Arxan is a beautiful place, and throughout my stay, whether dining or shopping in the city, I experienced the warmth and kindness of its people."

"A significant part of what made my grassland trip so wonderful was the experience at Yulong State Guest Hotel. The entire process, from the moment I stepped into the hotel and was impressed by its grand and exquisite architectural design, to the thoughtful room upgrade during check-in, the clean and relaxing stay, and then the eye-opening and mouth-watering Mongolian and Western breakfast each morning – it's clear this is a hotel that truly values its guests' experience and service quality. Outstanding value for money! I've stayed in some so-called 'star' hotels in other countries, but they were all instantly outclassed by this Yulong hotel, a local gem in Chifeng that, far from being 'rustic' or 'unrefined,' boasts rich ethnic cultural features. Haha, I absolutely loved it! Even days after returning and looking through my photos, I felt compelled to leave this glowing review!"

"My experience at the Baotou Maoye Marriott Hotel was fantastic! The hotel is centrally located with convenient transportation and is surrounded by all sorts of dining, entertainment, and shopping options. The king-size room I stayed in was spacious and bright. The extra bed service was thoughtful and attentive, and there was still plenty of room. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The service was warm and professional. Since I had to leave early in the morning, the front desk even recommended a delicious shaomai restaurant. The separate toilet and shower in the room made it more convenient for my family. Staying here during the National Day holiday offered excellent value for money. Highly recommended!"
