"This was a wonderful trip. The owner and his family are absolutely delightful and very helpful. The owner helped me create a plan for my trip to the National Park and told me exactly how long it would take to get through everything and where I would need to catch a bus in the park. That map saved me during my hike! The location is very close to the less crowded South Gate of the park. I walked straight in without any queue! Because of the remote location, there aren’t very many places nearby to get food or even order. But no worries because you can go to the front desk and request a meal from the menu and it is home cooked and delicious! My room and the view of nature gave me the relaxing atmosphere that I had been craving. Would definitely return for another stay and highly recommend!"

Plus, the hotel offers a 7-seater shuttle service, so transportation is a breeze for families. "Facilities: Everything was very new, and the bed was super comfortable—perfect for a good rest after a full day of hiking. They have their own large parking lot, which makes driving here very convenient. The breakfast had a great variety too. Location & Surroundings: It's about a 15-minute walk to the East Gate and just 10 minutes from the bus station, so getting around is incredibly convenient. Cleanliness: The room was cleaned daily and kept spotless."

"Amazing stay! The hotel really thought of everything — free umbrellas, snacks and instant noodles available if you’re in a hurry, an amazing breakfast with lots of options, and free laundry with clothes ready the next morning. The staff were kind and helpful, and everything was clean and comfortable. The only downside was the massage service. It was quite expensive and unfortunately not a good experience at all. It’s a scam. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend the hotel!"

"Manxin was the third boutique hotel I chose for my trip to Hunan. It's located in a village nestled in the mountains. The owner leased nearly a hundred acres of land to create the idyllic farm he envisioned. Several two-story buildings are artfully scattered amidst rice paddies and lotus ponds. An infinity pool offers unparalleled views of the distant mountains. The rice seedlings have just been planted, and in a few months, one can truly experience the scene described by Xin Qiji: 'A bountiful harvest is spoken of amidst the fragrance of rice flowers, as the croaking of frogs fills the air.' **Environment:** The hotel's environment is exceptional. Surrounded by distant mountains, perched on a gentle slope, every room offers expansive views of lush greenery. The rice fields are close by, and at night, the sound of frogs fills the air. Each room boasts a large balcony. Sitting there, breathing in the fresh mountain air, sipping a cup of tea or coffee, time seems to slow down. **Hygiene:** The hotel's hygiene is top-notch. Despite being surrounded by farmland, there are surprisingly no mosquitoes or other insects in the rooms, which is quite rare. **Facilities:** As a meticulously crafted guesthouse, it offers all the amenities of a high-end hotel, especially the infinity pool with its unbeatable mountain views – truly an inspired touch. Of course, as a 'wild luxury' (my own definition) hotel, to encourage guests to truly reconnect with nature, the rooms intentionally lack televisions. This thoughtful decision is commendable! **Service:** Being far from the city, service is particularly important for guests. The hotel provides dedicated butlers who promptly address guests' questions and requests. Their efficiency is high, usually responding to guests almost immediately. The hotel offers complimentary airport/train station transfers, as well as unlimited complimentary transfers to the Zimu Pass (middle gate) of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, which is incredibly helpful for guests. **In summary:** This is a uniquely positioned hotel. For travelers who love nature, appreciate peace and a slower pace, and have high standards for hotel quality, this hotel is definitely worth a short stay. **Final Suggestion:** Given its rural location, its own farmland, and the fact that it raises poultry and bees, the hotel should further leverage its unique advantages in terms of ingredients and cuisine. It could also appropriately guide local farmers to cultivate organic vegetables, fruits, and various eco-friendly produce, making a beneficial contribution to rural revitalization. I believe some guests would appreciate this."

"The hotel’s location is unarguably the best if planning a visit to Zhangjiajie national park for 2-4 days. I was extended a warm welcome and Ms.Lianzi helped me in securing the best possible tickets for the park. The personnel greet with a smile and are always willing to help in-spite of the language barriers. The receptionist even received my parcel from a courier company and paid for it beforehand as per my request and it really made me happy. The room was spacious and had everything needed for a great stay. The air conditioning was great and so was the housekeeping. The toilet even had an inbuilt light that turned on when the bathroom light was switched off. The bathroom even had a retractable line for drying clothes. I used the laundry (free of charge) once during my stay and it was maintained well. The breakfast buffet could have been managed in a better manner with the available staff. I had one of the best stays in China at this hotel and I thank Ms.Lianzi and her colleagues for their great hospitality."

"We had a relaxing time in Zhangjiajie which sounds hard to believe considering all the walking and stairs that’s done visiting the main attractions!! 😂😂 When we returned from a full on day sore and tired, we were offered massages (paid services) even late into the night. We were a short walk away from a variety of restaurants and street food which made it so convenient to explore without having to venture off too far from the hotel. The location was close to the airport and a short Didi ride away from the main Railway Station. Our view was stunning to say the least. With the room option we booked we got a personal butler which is what made our experience in Zhangjiajie smooth and seamless. She went above and beyond to arrange our activities, followed up to see when we were landing, upgraded our room for early check in and was always available to answer my few thousand questions at the most random times since making the booking. I booked the hotel in July and since then had been in touch with our butler who started making our arrangements far in advance. Her advice and suggestions with our itinerary made it easy to navigate Zhangjiajie. I thought I knew how to get around watching a few hundred TikTok videos but having a local overlook what I planned and ironing out the details made it that much easier. She was kind always smiling and just a pleasure to deal with. Lillie (our personal butler) you were amazing! Thank you for all your help, patience and suggestions. It truly made our visit in Zhangjiajie a memorable experience."
