Zhujiang New Town/Guangdong Museum
Great hotel with excellent location. Staff was also very friendly. Only one minor set back was the little smell from washroom, probably due to facility aging reason. Overall a very pleasant stay. Def recommend to couples and business people. Thanks for the ad-hoc anniversary arrangement from front desk lady!

The hotel provides free parking. Although it cannot correspond to the Hong Kong license plate (the north of the Hong Kong car), it will be opened immediately after calling at the parking lot gate. The hotel has free billiards. There are food stalls nearby, the taste is OK, very suitable.

Where to start. Firstly i requested the shuttle as advised in the drop box and added my flight details and times eft. I arrived at the airport and remember it's my first trip to China. My e-sim luckily kicked in and went to get 43 as advertised and i waited and waited and waited. I even sent an email an i tried to use didi to locate their address it didn't work. Finally i got in contact with a colleague back home and asked her ask her friends in China to contact them. This is almost 2 hours later. I'm still waiting for her and then remember the mall as a landmark and try it on didi and it works. It costed me 32 yen as it was Chinese near year and rates were high. Literally a minute after getting into the cab my friend responds and says their on their way. I tell her ok and get go the mall and walk on the sidewalk to the hotel. Here I'm met with the confused staff member who just doesn't understand any English at all. I eventually give up trying to communicate with her and just show her the booking details pay and am checked in. Nearly 3 hours later I'm left to take my own luggage upstair throw a maze and it felt like foever to get to my room. I was so exhausted and have a shower and sleep. Later that evening i decide to go out and am met by Sam very helpful manager who has an apology typed out in English ect. He knows alittle English and tries his best to assist me. I also tell him about my room and he upgraded me to a suite closer to the elevator and i was happy. Fast forward to the next day i decide to try the breakfast buffet which costs 88yen in comparison to the neighboring hotels who charge 38 yen for a breakfast. Immediately I see the selection is limited and caters more to chinese dishes Vs western. The warmers were cold and you had to ask for something to warmed on the griddle. The chef looked ever so confused when asked q question and just stood there dumb struck (remember the breakfast starts at 7am. The first and last day being today I was there just after 7 and the food was cold😂😂😂 The cereal was stale, coffee stations limited. And just the same food on repeat every other day. For 88yen I expect a good breakfast. I only ate at the buffet 3 out 10 days at the hotel. The surprising part is that I was not contacted one day to check why i hadn't eaten there that morning but a roll call was done daily to see who was at breakfast. I eventually settled for mc donalds and kfc at my own cost for breakfast and was happy. The food is a 2 outta 10 for me(the chef needs a reality check and needs basic training in English.) The best part of my stay was the comfort of the room. The cleaning staff are absolutely amazing in what they do and the ladies went beyond and above to make sure my suite felt like a home. They even tried to converse and smile and wave whenever we met at the lift opposed the the kitchen and reception staff. Another worthless member of staff is Ben Mo. He does understand alittle English however he just has a cold approach and looks at you as if you're stupid and would rater sit on his cellphone watching videos instead of helping clients. Overall i was extremely happy with the members of staff that did try to assist me and always smiled and were friendly. I appreciate it. This hotel needs to really invest in getting basic English skill sets if they want to improve. Third world countries with uneducated people eg in India can speak and understand basic English better than the people here. For the price i was charged i definitely won't be booking this hotel anytime soon i will however be booking right next door to them at a much cheaper price and hopefully a better level of service.
Flower Period ins Projection Apartment (Beijing Road Subway Station)

Beijing Road Pedestrian Street and Haizhu Square
Very good location next to the Beijing Lu Pedestrian Walk. In the older part of the city. The surrounding is very nostalgic yet very well kept by the city. My room is a river view high floor and it was exactly what I got. Full height window and a Tatami bed. It also came with a washer and a separate dryer. Unfortunately the dryer had to be placed in the bathroom which made it a bit cramp. The room itself is well maintained and what I suspect to be toiletries left behind by previous occupants are displayed for subsequent travellers. I had great sleep, unfortunately I could not enjoy the great view because it was fogged out during my stay.. Overall, think Airbnb apartment. The building is quite aged, so the lifts are a bit slow in coming. Add to that, the entire building seems to be occupied by numerous similar operators. BTW Check In and service desk is in apartment 1813, at least for now.

Shuangyue Bay
We went on cold windy days but it was still very fun. We got to do kayaking, play with fireworks, and enjoy the beach. When it comes to cleanliness i would say it’s a little bit dirty, the counters are bleached with some sort of black spots, the beach is also filled with black sticky substance that constantly sticks to your feet and doesn’t come off (possibly boat oil) however the beds and towels and all the other items are clean. With breakfast comes Afternoon tea and we really enjoyed it! not a lot of options for vegetarians though. so i would suggest the hotel to add more vegetarian options.

1/ 1st impression: During check-check and asked for late checkout but was told not possible but later given late checkout but the front desk staff told me for exchange to give her good commend for her service which I neither agree nor disagree because I don't trade for service. 2/ The Breakfast was horrible and all utensils were no display or available; forks/spoons/chop-sticks on table. Nothing else. Asking for coffee spoons but given soup spoon and after some times then get it, then was told they actually provide sticks but only 3rd day then I found out they kept in the drawer. A lot pf tour groups and you hardly can get the food, all are empty. Fighting for food with tourists and the food quality is bad and salty like eating salty........ 3/ couldn't get good wifi and was given another small touter after midnight after a lot of checking and debate; though the IT manager is kind enough serve late night, but I think the hotel need to enhance the wifi service for business guests. 4/ Room cleaning was good though they missed our to top-up one of the day, but overall good. 5/ Disappointed there is no in room service manus for the food..... 6/ The hotel staff used my person data to contact me for rating their service after I checked out this is very bad indeed.

**Disappointing Stay and Missed Airport Fetch at Kyriad Marvelous Hotel (Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport)** I recently stayed at the Kyriad Marvelous Hotel (Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport) for two nights. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of the positive reviews I read online, which makes me question their authenticity. **From the very beginning, the check-in process was unpleasant.** The staff displayed a rude and unwelcoming demeanor. When they provided the initial Wi-Fi username and password, it turned out to be incorrect. **We returned to the lobby to address the Wi-Fi issue.** Instead of simply providing the correct credentials, the staff member became impatient and took our phone to set up the connection themselves. When we politely requested the username and password for our computer, they responded with a dismissive attitude, stating they ”already set it up” and questioned why we needed the information. We explained the initial credentials were wrong, and they finally provided the correct username and password written on a piece of paper, further demonstrating their lack of courtesy. **Housekeeping was another area of disappointment.** After our first night, we requested room service. Despite confirming our room number and promising to clean the room later, housekeeping never arrived. Returning to the hotel in the evening, we found our room untouched. We ended up having to replenish our own water bottles and toilet paper. **The airport fetching service we booked was another source of frustration.** We arrived in the lobby early for the arranged pick-up time. However, when the pick-up time approached, we were informed that the car had already left for the airport without us!** There was no apology or explanation for this missed pick-up. Thankfully, another driver was present in the lobby and was able to arrange alternative transportation to ensure we reached the airport on time. This incident was a stressful and concerning experience. Overall, my stay at the Kyriad Marvelous Hotel was a frustrating one. The staff's unprofessionalism, the lack of housekeeping service, the missed airport pick-up, and the initial Wi-Fi problems significantly detracted from the experience. **In light of this experience, I would strongly advise potential guests to manage their expectations and consider alternative hotels near the airport that offer reliable airport fetching services and provide a more welcoming atmosphere.** 我最近在凯悦奇妙酒店(广州白云国际机场)住了两晚。
