My elderly mom and I visited Xiamen for a 5D4N private trip. Booked Millennium Harbourview Hotel again on the 3rd and 4th day stay due to the superb and convenient location. When we reached the hotel around 4 pm, we were greeted by a hotel staff wearing a black coat. He helped us to push our luggage bags from the main entrance until our room. We really appreciate his kindness. From the hotel, turn right and walk along the road until you cross the traffic light and reach the end, turn right again until you reach Heping Wharf to onboard the ship for Lujiang night tour. 20 mins walk. There's 2 sessions available, 7.30 pm & 8 pm. It cost RMB109 perpax. The night tour took around 1 hour to finish. The sky in Xiamen started to get bright at 5 am. If you can wake up early, this is the best time to go out and walk around the hotel surrounding area. It's cool and windy. It's a good time to take photos as only a few people and cars are on the street. It's very peaceful and safe to walk along the road. We didn't see any cat, dog, or birds on the street. A 30 mins walk to Haibin Park to see the sea and Gulangyu Island. You may also rent a bicycle that is available at the roadside in front of the hotel. There's many local food roadside stalls available in front of the hospital beside the hotel. We requested the hotel staff to arrange a taxi to send us to airport T3 during checkout. The whole process took around 7 mins, from checkout until we board the taxi. We really appreciate the front door staff dressed in red uniform to call for the taxi and helped us to upload our luggage bags in the car. The journey to the airport took around 30 mins and cost us RMB50. I hope the hotel management can consider changing the room mattress as it's too old. The pillow is too flat. Good for sleep but not for resting. The room is very clean, but the wooden headboard frame was sticky when i lay my head on it. The bathroom rain shower head needs a fix as cold water dripping down when i'm using the handheld showerhead.

I recently stayed at this hotel and the overall experience was very good. First of all, the hotel's location is very good, with convenient transportation and many restaurants and shopping malls nearby. The room is clean and tidy, with complete facilities and comfortable beds, providing a good sleeping environment. The service staff are friendly, responsive and able to meet guests' needs in a timely manner. The breakfast is rich in variety, authentic and satisfying. Overall, this hotel has excellent performance in terms of hardware facilities and service quality. It is cost-effective and worth recommending.

Had a wonderful stay with my small family at Xiamen Swiss Grand. The check in was very quick and the receptionist was so kind and tried to use English with us even though we can speak Chinese 😍. All their staff were so professional starting from the hotel car boy till the Ayi. Hygiene is so great. Room was very spacious with fantastic sea view. Not to forget the mouthwatering breakfast: OMG so many varieties especially western, we enjoyed the pastries most. All amenities are available here even kids can enjoy 3 hours playing for free, Yuna is the responsibile there and provided great service for the kids. Late checkout too without any disturbance to hurry up like some other hotels do. Price is affordable: you get what you pay for. It's recommended. Thank you Swiss Grand

非常非常好的经验！衷心感谢！ Staying in this hotel made our visit to the World Heritage Site of Wuyishan so much more fulfilling. 1. The room was very clean, well-designed and well-equipped. There was an array of snacks, fruits and Dahongpao tea. A hearty breakfast was also provided. 2. The service was impeccable. The pleasant, young and energetic household manager provided service as guests have a personal butler. 3. From the roof top, guests get a panoramic view of the Wuyishan mountains. 4. The must-watch Impression Dahongpao is just a short walk away. This hotel is ideally located for visitors who come to Wuyishan to see the show. (In my humble opinion, it would be such a great waste if one visits Wuyishan without watching Impression Dahongpao.) The hotel management team got us the best seats available for the section we selected and at a better price than those offered online. 5. The bus stop where we took the bus to the entrance of the Wuyishan Scenic Area is within walking distance. If one prefers to hail a ride (Didi) there, it costs about 6 yuan. In the opposite direction from the hotel, the tea streets are about the same distance away. If one does not want to go to town to eat, there are also a variety of restaurants and food stalls in the vicinity of Impression Dahongpao. 6. We stayed 3 nights at the hotel and we think we did well in our planning. We wanted to experience the scenic tram ride from Nanping High Speed Rail Station to Wuyishan and by the time we arrived at the hotel, it was in the afternoon. We went up the rooftop to appreciate the view and prep ourselves for the visit to the huge park. Early the next morning, we went to the park after breakfast. We wanted to do the bamboo rafting and visit the 6 ancient Dahongpao trees/shrubs on the first day. Viewing the trees made it more meaningful when we watched Impression Dahongpao on the second evening. On the third day we climbed up to the peak of Wuyishan. Without the pressure of time, the climb was done more safely. The views along the path up and from the top were spectacular. In the late afternoon/evening, we visited the town and walked the tea streets. 7. We got a pleasant gift upon check-out on the fourth day.

The most sensible choice for this trip to Yunshuiyao is to stay in this B&B. The B&B is located in the core of the scenic area 50 meters behind the waterwheel, which is very convenient for travel. There is also a large parking lot, so self-driving parking is stress-free. The room is clean, tidy and warm, and the layout is especially suitable for parent-child families. The focus is to praise his restaurant. The ingredients are fresh and original. Each dish is superbly cooked with local characteristics, which satisfies the taste of the whole family. Because the scene is humid on the first floor, we used a tea heating steamer to make the taste very good, and it still has the characteristics of Fuzhou. In terms of service, the two men at the front desk may not be familiar with it, and they don’t fully understand the questions and business they ask. Their hairstyles and words need to be adjusted. When I was about to leave the front desk, the room butler Xiuxiu appeared, with decent and professional service procedures and reminders. I immediately felt that the service was a bit basic. Later, because the boy who made the reservation did not pay attention to my requirements, the location arranged might be noisy, and the butler adjusted it in time, and assisted in providing the service I needed at the first time. This is worthy of affirmation and mention. The breakfast session was good overall, but the last impression was bad. No one took the tableware, and then there was a pile of tableware without a clean soup spoon. It should be that there was no high-temperature dishwasher. The experience of this hand grabbing can be imagined. The overall hot spring pool is good. In addition to the need to wait for the water to come out, the water is relatively slippery and the temperature is enough. I will come again if I have the chance.

It made coming and going a breeze, allowing me to focus on my activities without any stress. there are mall nearby within 2KM and it’s so cheap and convenient to just didi anywhere from here. FYI during winter most hotels in china does not have air conditioning, here offer both air conditioning and heater, which is a must for me. Overall, I highly recommend the Mercure Hotel for anyone visiting Xiamen. The combination of a clean, comfortable room, delicious breakfast, practical gym, innovative delivery service, and excellent amenities like free laundry makes it a top choice for both business and leisure travelers. I look forward to returning on my next visit!

The hotel is in a convenient location near Zhongshan walking street, which is a plus. The room was spacious and clean, but it felt dated and would benefit greatly from refurbishment. Unfortunately, there was a noticeable smoke smell in the room, which was unpleasant. Despite being winter (November/December), the room lacked air conditioning, and it was uncomfortably hot and stuffy, making it feel like an oven. The TV was non-functional, and the Wi-Fi signal was so weak it was essentially unusable. Additionally, only one elevator was available for guests, leading to delays, and some floor tiles in the room were loose and uneven.
