Motel 6 Boise, ID - Airport

The room was clean and orderly. Looked like it has been recently remodeled. New fixtures in the bathroom. No coffee when we arrived at 9PM. No coffee the morning we left at 9AM. We stayed for two nights. Came back after being out all day and our room wasn't made up, fresh towels, etc. We were told that they only do the room if you stay 3 days or longer, so had to go to the office for towels. Friendly staff, easy access off the Interstate. occupants above us were kind of noisy, but not to where we had to complain. Would stay there again.

We stayed here a few years ago and it was clean and beds were comfy. This was not our experience with this stay. It looked like carpets hadn’t been cleaned in quite awhile. Just didn’t feel clean or smell clean. Breakfast was minimal and not stocked well. They had waffles (no syrup), boiled eggs, toast, bagels, yogurt, cereals. Fruit-apples and bananas. The apples still had stickers on them, so doubtful they had been washed. Bananas were really ripe and more suitable for making banana bread. Staff was nice, check-in and checkout were a little slow. He was having computer issues. Parking lot next to hotel is small and congested. There is an attached lot that is not well maintained. Pavement was rough and not well lit at night. It is close to freeway, convenience stores and restaurants. This hotel needs to be updated and cleaned thoroughly. Oh, we also had ants in the bathroom. If this hotel is remodeled, we might consider staying there in the future. If not, we will seek lodging elsewhere.

Considering the price/performance ratio, choose the motel 6, the room is not big enough. Passing by, staying for one night is more appropriate. There is an outdoor swimming pool in the hotel. I didn't have time to swim, but I saw that there are several swimming rings in the pool. It should be free. There are many restaurants across the road, as well as food supermarkets, targets, etc., which is very convenient. Not far north there is a bridge Perrine Memorial Bridge There is a convenient parking in the tourist center, the view of the small Grand Canyon, and if you are lucky, you can see people parachuting. We had bad luck on the day, one had just put away the parachute, and the other had just taken out the parachute. About 10 minutes drive, there is a Shoshone Falls, the car is 5 knives, it is spectacular, and I saw the double rainbow. A friend who lives in motel 6 suggests driving to see it, it takes a long time, and there is no need to hike. It is extremely suitable for the elderly with children. The only bad thing is that the guests are mostly blue-collar workers.

Located as soon as the highway comes out. A low-priced hotel on the way from Arches Valley to Yellow Stone. Changed from Motel 6 to Hilltop hotel. Affordable hotel for the price. Taco Bell right next door. There is McDonald's. There is a family restaurant with good value for money. It seems to be a local restaurant. There was a hot water pool but it was not available on schedule.
