Well it was pretty... but the TV. It did not work & when I called for help the staff were not knowledgeable about what to do. I said just forget it after 20 minutes worth of exchanges about whether or not I turned it off and on. 🥲 I was literally stuck watching black and white westerns 😑. Which would’ve been great if I was my grandad. Also, idk what type of sweet talking my boyfriend did or if the young lady assumed because he was a man or what but somehow he managed to check in early with my information! Which is cute in a movie but in real life what if he was a stalker! I was so upset that no one even called to ask if I had someone else on the reservation! He stepped out to have his car valeted so he hadn’t the chance to let me know. I got there and was told someone had already checked in for me! The young woman apologized which was nice but it didn’t ease the fact that she made an ignorant and dangerous decision. Like I said cute place just a tad underwhelming as far as amenities go. My review is mainly about the TV & the lackadaisical response I was given about it.

Throughly enjoyed my room and experience. The breakfast service in the restaurant was a little slow and inconsistent - one morning we had very prompt and fast service the other it took 15 minutes for a server to take our order - which isn't unique to the Darcy - I have had this issue with many hotels with staffing issues of late. The restaurant and bar area were nice and the menu had great options. The hotel room and bathroom were clean and the room was quiet.

The hotel I booked was wrong and I booked it in the late afternoon after searching on Trip.com. Thank you for the confirmation email. It was a decent watch for a taxi and the facilities and service was good. One thing was a bit embarrassing because the location and the name are different. I would appreciate your name correction.
Motel 6 Washington, DC - Convention Center

1) Called DC Convention Center Motel 6 despite beIng nowhere near DC Convention Center. You WILL get lost trying to find it. 2) Advertises as having free, high-speed internet—which was pleasing as I expected to have quite a bit of down time in the room in which to get work done. The internet connection was nonexistent—it didn’t maintain for more than 90 seconds at a time for the entire two days I’ve been here. Wasn’t able to do any work whatsoever. 3) Room had clearly not been cleaned prior to my arrival—there was still feces on the toilet bowl when I first used it. Also, whenever the toilet flushes, there is a incredibly loud, sustained noise for 2-3 min after that I’m shocked didn’t wake any other guests. 4) There’s a flat screen tv but no tv remote. 5) Office attendant barely acknowledged me and didn’t bother to tell me roughly where my room was—just expected me to look until I found it. I didn’t spend a lot, so I suppose one gets what one pays for, but I’ve stayed in hostels in the city for half this price and experienced far better quality.

West End
First time in DC and was very happy with this hotel. Arrived late and check in was very quick and painless. Lobby and communal areas really well presented. Plenty of seating, in addition to a downstairs bar and restaurant. Bar was great, offering service both inside and outside (internal courtyard style) - sat outside a few times and really enjoyed the calm atmosphere. The room was clean and tidy. The main living space was more modern than the bathroom, which felt a little more dated, but still fine. Room faced the road yet didn't hear any noise or disturbance, which was really nice. Requested assistance for a minor issue (safe battery) which was rectified asap - great response. Wifi worked great all week. All in all this hotel was great. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and in a good location (for me at least). Would stay again for sure.

I would recommend this hotel. Great location and very clean, modern room. Surprisingly quiet at night for being in such a central location. Complimentary coffee and bagels was nice as well. Staff were helpful.

The location of the shop is not far from the Red Line subway Dupont station. There are small restaurants and bookstores next to the street. The hotel facilities are quite new and clean; the bedding is soft; the bathroom supplies daily in the room; the only thing that needs attention is the hot water and the conversion socket Fortunately, every morning there is hot coffee and water in the lobby, and newspapers are provided.

On the outskirts of Washington, you need to take the bus to the center of Washington. There is a supermarket nearby and there is a Chinese fast food takeaway. There are more black people around. Go out less at night. It is ok to live.

Swampoodle / Judiciary Square
The hotel location is super, 5 minutes walk to Union Station and 10 minutes walk to the Capitol. The hotel rooms and bathrooms are very large, this time booked two types of twin and double beds, twin rooms are highly recommended, basically more than a queen. Size bed size. The hotel design is neo-classical. The beds were messy and the cleaning was clean. Stayed one night and received a $ 50 deposit, which is said to be refunded within 3-7 working days. There is a lot of food and shopping when walking to Union Station.
