Te Mahuru Retreat

It is a small homestay with a total of three or four rooms. It takes more than five minutes to drive to the main street of Kaikoura. The surrounding environment is beautiful and quiet, with a large backyard. The facilities are complete and the living is very comfortable. The hostess is also very hospitable and thoughtful. Unfortunately, I stayed for one night and I would like to stay a few more days next time. If you come to Kaikula, I recommend this place.

This time, the South Island roundabout began to return to Christchurch from Christchurch. It was the first room to stay here for two days. It was also the first time I stayed at the motel. The car is parked at the door, and the kitchen is fully equipped, which is convenient for me. The dusk of the first day is especially beautiful.

The aunt at the front desk press the doorbell to come out to check in, fill in the personal information, check in without anything, give the key directly and bring it to the room, and give a bottle of milk The car parked at the door of his room, all rooms on the first floor. The room is not small, with a small living room and kitchen, bath products, hair dryer, kettle, microwave oven, stove, towels, no slippers, toothpaste and toothbrush The room is clean and has a heater. The town is not big, a few hundred meters away are restaurants, shops, and gas stations, but there are not many people. The hotel does not include breakfast. I will leave after eating bread and check out at 10 o’clock on time. I just pass by here as a break

The hotel is in the yard on the side of the main road. There are two entrances and exits. Parking in the yard can be very convenient at the door of the room. The hotel will send a bottle of milk. The supermarket gas station is also convenient nearby. The kitchen is very complete, that is, the stove 🔥 is not big and can be cooked. There will be freight trains passing by at night. Not very noisy indoors Not far from Christchurch can do a transit. Station

Very good homestay, the host is very thoughtful. The house is clean and tidy, and the facilities are perfect. The location is only ten minutes drive from the airport, very close, but almost no noise can be heard. The breakfast is very rich and the cake is very delicious. The key is that the bed and quilt are very comfortable, and it is really a rare good night's sleep here. I will definitely stay here next time I come to Christchurch. Everything is perfect in this place. It's just ten mins drove to the airport but you can bearly hear the noise in the house. Everything in the house is clean, tidy and very much home alike. The breakfast was well prepared and the cakes were just delicious. Above all, the bed and duvet was sooooo comfortable that I had the best sleep in my whole trip! I would definitely stay here if I came to Christchurch again!
Darfield Motel

The road from Wanaka to the West Coast is closed, and the car can take a detour. On the way through, I chose this high-rated motel. It was quite satisfactory and clean. Although it was on the edge of the main road, there was no car passing by at night. It was still quiet. There is no restaurant in the town, the cockroach can buy it from the supermarket to cook it himself, the kitchen has no exhaust fan, and the dishes have to open the window and open the door for ventilation.
