If you are looking for authentic old skool architecture then temple tree resort is deff the place to go. Its got modern amenities while being authentic with the structure.
If you are allegic to feline dander or just arent the friendliest with cats, stay away as theres a few residents.
One thing to consider is the akwardness of the toilet bowl positioning for penang house 1. I am on the larger side and this posed abit of an issue and required manuevering acts to say the least. Choose a different house but dont let this stop you.
The breakfast had a good choice and lovely fresh baked pastries i appreciated!

Room was spacious and had everything you need. The location was great. Could of been a little cleaner, we also had to ask for toilet paper.

Have stayed many times and still look the same, if you like a place where nature, humans and animals live in harmony, you are right. Although its menu was cut a lot during the epidemic, the taste was still good.

The owner is really accommodating and kind. I overstayed by two hours and he only charged me 20RM. He was helpful with finding places around. The hotel is okay for the price, nothing fancy. It does have an air con, tv, towels and body soap. I’d suggest you bring your own toilet paper and toiletries. Good for overnight stay. The WiFi is excellent. There’s a big mall nearby, you can walk or take a Grab. Thank you.

Good location behind the large shipping mall Aman Central and Alor Setar Tower
The check in was smooth even very late at night. BB Motel is colocated with Bee Gladden Hotel. You check in at Bee Garden. BB Motel is a wing consisting of rooms with shared toilet.
The room was basic. A/C works ok. Wifi signal was weak inside my room. The traffic noise was not so bad after the shipping mall was closed.
Overall, I recommend this place.
