Nice enough place where I have stayed before on a few occasions. The hotel (in my opinion) is a little tired and could do with a spruce up, but I must admit their main attraction to me is the affordability so, I suppose you get what you pay for đ
Overall though it is located right on the seafront which is a definite plus! đ
The room was clean and tidy, the tree was shaded outside the window, the environment was beautiful, there were several set menu options for breakfast, the chef made it now, other coffee, tea, bread and fruit buffet.
Ashford International Hotel worked well for a birthday weekend.Room stayed clean and cozy.Bed gave steady sleep after a long day out.Staff stayed upbeat and helpful.Breakfast offered plenty of solid options.
Spa and pool felt calm and gave a good break.Location made it easy to move around Ashford.
Strong pick for a simple, relaxed celebration.
Regular stays at this Holiday Inn Express. Room on this occasion a little tired and dated. Holes in sheets, poor shower pressure and old TV. Breakfast was good. The lift is slow and you can wait along time for it. Parking easy, however shouldn't have to pay for it.
We had a great time at the Holiday Inn in Rochester. Tamia, the receptionist, provided excellent customer service and recommended a fantastic Indian restaurant when we requested after hours. The room was basic but clean and equipped with everything we needed. Although we didn't have time to use the pool due to our late arrival, we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfast prepared by the chef. We look forward to staying here again. Thank you!
Hi. I stay in the King Charles hotel every week and believe it to be the best accommodation in the area in terms of value for money and room comfort by a long way. The rooms are warm, and clean, as are the showers. The breakfast is tasty with super service and the reception and bar staff are all friendly and helpful. Car parking is also generally fairly easily. All good, a home from from home. Thankyou King Charles hotel.
Booked to stay here over half term with my daughter for a couple of nights - had a cosy room which was just right for the two of us.
Front reception staff were really kind and helpful.
Breakfast was lovely - the lady there was so nice and although was busy as she was on her own, she was always smiling.
We dined in the restaurant one of the evenings - food was delicious but the heating wasnât working on that floor so the whole room was cold. Bar / restaurant staff were really nice.
Overall, we had a lovely stay and we would recommend this hotel to friends and family.
Breakfast was generous. The hotel is quiet. Transportation bus and driving are convenient. Free parking. In winter, park your car to the sun. Because the glass frosted, a bottle of water-washed frost was prepared in the car.
What an amazing hidden gem this is. Nestled on a hill top overlooking the marshes with Warehorn church over the road, this pub with rooms is a must for a romantic get away. We arrived early and had a drink in the bar, which is beautifully quirky, a welcoming log fire burning and a wide selection of drinks. We had booked âNiddyâ an attic room with so much to give, a comfy bed, roll top bath, and so much character. The only niggle I had with the room, was the W.C squeezed into the roof space it was a little awkward to stand up and wee, but that's a small thing when it comes to such a great room. Requesting a quiet table for dinner, we were given one in a side area and again we couldn't believe it, it was super romantic and we had the whole room to ourselves. Our waiter Muli was so good, he was attentive but not intruding, and so funny, we haven't had many meals out and he really did make the evening. The food was excellent and the vegan burger was one of the best I have had. The location was brilliant, if you're into walking, cycling, birdwatching or wanting to visit local sites (rye was only 20min drive away) The rest of the staff were also brilliant, and couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely return.
