Pet Friendly Hotels in Shanghai, China

We brought our 2 year old daughter here for 3 days and 2 nights. We had a okay but slightly underwhelming experience. The pros: The suite was large and spacious, and had a powder room attached to the living room The hotel was not busy (in the middle of November) and we enjoyed the peaceful and quiet atmosphere The hotel has several kid-friendly activities/amenities on site, including an artificial beach, indoor playroom and a small farm where you can feed animals The hotel is a relatively short drive from central Shanghai The hotel staff were generally friendly and helpful, and our butler kindly arranged for us to check in early The cons: The indoor playroom is dated and the air inside was stale. Despite it being closed for cleaning during lunchtime everyday, I noticed a fair amount of debris and hair in the ballpit and sandpit. While there was a good range of animals on the small farm, the animals were dirty and not well kept The separate area for feeding cats was also dirty and some of the cats did not look healthy The buffet breakfast was below average We ate at both of the hotel restaurants and found the food mediocre and overpriced

The place is quite nice, the rooms are cozy and have everything you may need. CityGo House is located a bit far from downtown (it takes around 30-40mins by subway), however the location itself is good, the subway station is very near, there are also many shopping malls around, where you can find anything you need. The service though was not the best. It took a long time to check in with the foreign passport, the staff looked lost and confused. Their English is very poor as well.

Nice Service Apartment Hotel! Wonderful breakfast and a nice sitting patio outside on the 8th floor. Checkin on the 8th floor. Located close 80m from 889 Plaza and office Tower. Many restaurants and fast food. Longde Line 2 is about 600m walk and Wunning Rd Line 14 about 850m walk. There is Herma and Aldi close by. Rooms are clean, a little compact and modern. I will stay here now every business trip, as my company office is at 889. It was nice to have a washing machine with soap in room to wash some items before next trip.

This hotel is much beyond our expectation for this price. The room is big and clean. Washing machine and hanger are in the room. Air condition can become heater too. Projector is huge but all movie must be paid. Windows can be opened. The hotel in in the same building as Wanda Plaza which is ver convenient for everything. The street food is also at the back of hotel. You can find anything in the market. Traveling From airport to hotel is super easy. Didi will drop you in from of the hotel and you just walk to the corner of Wanda plaza. Suju hotel is labeled at the door in english. Its super closed to Zhoupu station exit 2. That is awesome. The path in the building may be dirty but the room is clean. I dont like only one thing that I can smell smoke in the room during the night. That hurt my nose.

A few things to say. This was my second stay this hotel, and this time I am glad I haven’t had my family with me. 1. COLD ROOM The room was so cold, even though I tried to adjust the temperature with the A/C it felt like the big glass closed window isn’t properly sealed and cold air from outside was entering the room. 2. LANGUAGE PROBLEMS. I know I am china, but if you work in hotel, special hotel chains and have a regular number of international guests, you should be able to speak a certain english level. I had issue during my check in, and questions that they couldn’t answer me, and also gave me wrong information. 3. BREAKFAST, ok, but could be better!

Very good location, it is located inside Liangyou Mansion, right across the subway station. Decent room with great facilities. Easy check-in and good and fast communication. The only downside is that after check-out, we have to leave our luggages in 12th floor (their public space). I assume China is safe but there is still a certain risk. Anyhow it’s a pleasant stay. I wish we could stay longer.

I came to Shanghai on a business trip. The environment was very good. There was a New Year atmosphere when I entered the lobby. I learned from chatting with the girl at the front desk that the hotel would have different themed decorations according to different festivals, which was very creative. The room was very clean and tidy, and the front desk service was also very good and professional. There is also a gym with quite complete equipment, which is quite convenient for travel.

My child stayed in a hotel near the college entrance examination school. There were candidates for those two days, and the hotel was almost fully booked. They were able to meet all the guests' requirements. It's rare that they are very busy and their attitude towards guests is not affected. The decoration is simple and comfortable. We lived on the fifth floor. The corridor with warm yellow light is spacious and bright. My friend and child lived in the e-sports standard room on the second floor. The corridor was blue light and cold tone. I guess it highlights the sense of technology. Very good hotel, worth staying!

It’s my second time to book this hotel and the access from the subway is even better. The nearest exit now from Songhong road station is at exit 5 and from there you just need to walk 100 meters to arrive at the hotel. Songhong road is in Line 2, the most convenient if you are coming from Hongqiao railway or airport and if you are attending the exhibition. There’s also a mall nearby where you can find different restaurants and coffee shops. Songhong road exit 3. There’s also McDonald’s nearby if ever you just need a fastfood from a tired business day. This is a budget hotel. You can’t expect a 5 star service but it serves the purpose of a decent place to stay during a business trip.

Yatong Green Sea Hotel is located on Green Sea Road, more than three kilometers away from Wanda Plaza. The hotel is quiet and comfortable, the service is very good, the room facilities are high-end, the air conditioning temperature is suitable, the breakfast is also very rich, organic coffee, Hema supermarket is not far away, eating and shopping nearby is also very convenient, Very suitable for self-driving travel!
