The room is very spacious, the environment is very good, the simple decoration style, it feels clean and comfortable, the setting is fully equipped, the boss service is good, there is a parking lot, there is a charging pile nearby, breakfast is basic but the taste is not bad. The warm weather in this courtyard must be a good place for leisure, recommended!

This is such a lovely little homestay! We struggled to find the entrance since Tencent Maps sent us a street over, but after adding them on WeChat they sent us a pin right away and helped us make it (see photo!). The room was clean, well-air-conditioned, well thought out, and we had so much fun with the Japanese toilet! My chinese is limited to basic conversation only but staff were friendly and the lady at the desk on the day we checked out showed us her newborn kittens! Super super happy all round with this stay! Note to other guests: - Taxis will have to drop you a few streets away as much of the old town's streets are too narrow for cars. - The entrance is right on the canal, not round a corner. - The door is open at all times, so don't worry if you're back late!

In Zhouzhuang Ancient Town
The environment is very good, very close to the entrance of Shen Hall. The store owner is very welcoming and contacted us in advance to arrange pick-up. I took a short rest in the afternoon, entered the scenic area at five o'clock, and entered again before seven o'clock the next day without a ticket. If I go to Zhouzhuang Ancient Town again, I will stay here again.

Very friendly host – really going out of their way to help you even despite the language barrier I had (I don't speak Mandarin). Walked me to the town entrance to convert the ticket to a 3-day pass (no way I would have known to do that!). When asking where to get to the bus stop, walked with me for 15 minutes to the location, and made sure I could get on the bus (the ticket system is not designed for foreigners). Gave me local treats as a gift. Very friendly and warm welcome. Beautiful view from the window, right above the canal.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the dock. The hotel includes breakfast and can provide lunch and dinner. All dishes are made from local production. The dishes are good. The host and the staff are all very accommodating and try their best to help and are always available. The hotel was fully refurbished when we came. It was clean, well furnished and well maintained. The cost appeared reasonable even during the national holiday. We chose a room with a balcony. The terrasse adds a lot of convenience and is really enjoyable. We used it often. We did spend a pleasant time there. An important reminder comes as the hotel is close, maybe one of the closest to the dock. Therefore the activity around the hotel is intense, starts early and finishes late. This can affect light sleepers and is reinforced by the fact that the island is a heaven of silence. The island is perfect to reconnect to the nature, the slowness of life. We did appreciate our time walking around the island, visiting every small street and enjoying the pleasant view. People are very nice, organisation in the island is good and provides all the necessities. A good place for one or few days stay with or without children.

Inside Tongli Ancient Town
The accommodation is a old house which was built during the Kangxi reign of the Qing dynasty and has been built more than 300 years ago. Currently it is run by the descendants and the location of the accommodation is within the Tongli ancient town. After 5pm, entrance into the ancient town is free of charge. Hence we did not have to pay for the entrance fee when we stayed here as we got here after 5pm. The night view is beautiful with red lanterns which is different from Wuzhen which are mostly yellow in colour. The town still has the old ancient town feel compared to Xizha in Wuzhen which is more touristy and refurbished. It is worth staying here one night and enjoy the night view before heading to other nearby destinations the next day. Though we did not need to pay for the entrance ticket after 5pm, access to the attractions within the ancient town like the tuisi gardens etc requires the ticket for verification if you wish to visit these places the next day. The rooms in this hotel looks better in person than in the photos shown in the trip.com website. The beds are big and the antique furnitures gives a very oriental ancient vibe.

I recently stayed at your hotel. The overall experience was far beyond my expectations. I must praise this thoughtful service! I especially want to praise two excellent employees, Yao Yang and Chen Gaojun, including all the staff of the hotel. As soon as we drove to the door, a big sister in a uniform skirt came to greet us (didn't ask her name), and the security brother were very enthusiastic ❤️Everyone greeted us with a smile. Their professionalism and high-quality service made our journey feel warm. Excellent location: The hotel is close to the Ancient Grand Canal and Dongguan Street. You can feel the ancient charm of Yangzhou on foot. The surrounding food and attractions are all in one place. It is super convenient to travel! Full marks for service details: Brother Yaoyang impressed me from the check-in. He had a friendly smile and super high efficiency. He took the initiative to help carry the luggage to the room, and carefully introduced the hotel facilities and surrounding travel guides. Before checking in, he asked when we would arrive, arranged a baby's bed fence, and arranged for us to check in as soon as possible. Chen Gaojun's service is impeccable. He greets us warmly every day. Knowing that we are going out with our baby early in the morning, he specially prepared snacks and fruits. He considers every little thing and really makes us feel at home. Room facilities: The decoration style is simple and comfortable, the bedding is soft and clean, the sound insulation effect is very good, and the smart device is easy to operate, making you feel safe and comfortable. The breakfast is rich in variety, and the authentic Yangzhou breakfast is memorable. Since it is not convenient to eat out with a baby, we eat all three meals in the hotel. The dishes are really good and affordable! In short, this stay experience is perfect, and Yaoyang and Chen Gaojun's attentive service is the biggest highlight of the hotel! Overall the stay wasn’t awful, but it wasn’t great. I just wanted to say that the staff are amazing, super helpful and assisted when they could but I did have to ask for help often. The pool is basically still water as it doesn’t have a filter , so there was algae in it, which isn’t great.. the bath was broken but they said people don’t use them, my friend and I wanted to use it as that’s why we booked this hotel so we ended up fixing it ourselves. Lunch and dinner options were limited and they don’t really have a cook most the time. You call get a didi to the hotel but you they won’t pick you up there unless you prebook, the hotel can give you a contact for a driver and he’s amazing and willing to work for a full day with out worry, his prices are low and he even spoke to people when we needed tickets to attractions so we didn’t have to use a translator app. Overall the stay was lovely, but it’s not ideal if you want to travel around.
