That said, all the costs were quite expensive compared to what I'm used to after living and traveling in China for more than 10 years. I would recommend the horse riding off the main area, as they suggest, but the Happy Ranch was not that fulfilling—most of the rides and activities there weren't worth the time or money. That's an external activity though, so no discredit to the hotel itself. While we didn't end up using the actual amenities, the hospitality and cultural performance alone made the visit worthwhile. On my trip to Inner Mongolia, I stopped in Hohhot and stayed at Yunleju for the first night. Before checking in, I called and added them on WeChat to register my license plate in advance. This allowed me to park in the underground garage for free, which was great for someone traveling by car. The downsides are that although the room was large, it was a bit dim, and the facilities were old. The TV was small, and the remote control only had one battery. The bathroom didn't have a separate wet and dry area, making it easy to slip after showering when trying to use the toilet. I suggest they provide a squeegee.

I chose this yurt because I wanted to try something a little different, and I never expected such a warm welcome. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel at home, and it was clear that they genuinely wanted me to have a great stay. Even though we didn't speak the same language, it was never a problem with the help of a few translation apps and plenty of smiles, we were able to communicate and share some wonderful moments. I was even invited to enjoy a homemade traditional meal with the family, a simple yet heartfelt experience that will remain one of my favorite travel memories. The yurt itself is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Spending the night in such a unique setting was an unforgettable experience. In the morning, I was treated to a delicious homemade breakfast, another thoughtful touch that made my stay even more enjoyable. I even had the chance to try on a traditional outfit, take some photos, and enjoy a fun karaoke session during my stay. If you're looking for a genuine local experience rather than a standard hotel stay, I highly recommend this place. It offers a rare opportunity to experience true hospitality, and it's a memory I'll cherish for a long time. I couldn't be happier with my stay. If I have the chance to visit China again, I will definitely come back here without a second thought.

Overall, my stay at Arxan Guiye Homestay was very satisfying. The homestay is surrounded by excellent natural scenery, located away from the main road, avoiding the hustle and bustle of traffic, making it quiet and peaceful. Surprisingly, there were very few mosquitoes in this forest area homestay, making for a very comfortable stay. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy, with simple yet cozy soft furnishings that created a great ambiance. The soundproofing exceeded expectations; it was very quiet at night, allowing for a good rest to alleviate travel fatigue. The only minor drawback was the breakfast. The current selection was somewhat limited, and the variety was relatively monotonous. If they could appropriately expand the range of dishes and add some local specialties in the future, the experience would be even better. Considering the facilities, environment, and hygiene, it's still a highly recommended accommodation in Arxan, and I would prioritize it for my next visit.

Its location is superb, surrounded by expansive grasslands, perfect for leisurely strolls and photo opportunities – every shot is a masterpiece. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful; any needs are readily addressed, and they even thoughtfully shared information about nearby less-known viewpoints. At night, lying in the yurt and gazing at the starry sky through the skylight creates an immersive atmosphere. It's a one-stop shop for all your needs – food, accommodation, and activities – and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to the grasslands!

All the way to the north Xinjiang wind and dust, to the grassland, Jiujia Hotel, to give the journey a gentle bottom. There is no glittering decoration, keep clean and sincere. In the morning, go to the grassland to chase the clouds, return to the city to find fireworks at dusk, Dazhao Fanyin, Zhaojun Ancient Tomb, you can easily find. The significance of the far trip is to see the vast mountains and rivers, but also to meet this kind of warm heart to live, sincerely recommend every friend from afar.

I found this guesthouse as I was driving up the G331 from Erguna to Beijicun as part of my 2 0 day road trip loop from the northernmost part of China to A'ershan and back. Mo'edaogazhen is a very small, quiet town and I was the only guest in this guesthouse. I got a friendly welcome when I arrived by the Auntie and Uncle. I was welcomed to my room and got settled in. As an Englishman, I had to go down to the police station and then to another hotel to have my location registered - a Chinese Government requirement. The boss jumped in the car and saw me get it sorted nice and smoothly with no hassle. The room was nice and comfy and in the traditional wooden style which suited my trip well. A couple of improvements would be to make sure the room has a kettle on arrival and that the shower won't flood for other guests. But no harm done, I slept well and enjoyed plenty of Gongfu tea sessions. As I left, the Auntie/Sister gave me two Russian pastries which I was very appreciative of. Things like this leave a lasting impression, especially for us foreign travellers. I ended up driving from Erguna to Beijicun via the G331 - the most isolated section in the nation - and these pastries saw me through the journey well. Thank you both and Happy Chinese New Year!

I really enjoyed the charming courtyard setting; it felt very cozy and comfortable to stay in. We drove all the way from Ulanqab, and as we planned to visit Lvshuiliang the next day, we searched for nearby options and booked this guesthouse. It's a traditional rural-style courtyard, very clean and well-maintained. There weren't many other guests, and the room amenities were quite comprehensive.

Not worth the value. ESP, if you don’t plan to travel with your own car. Lack of amenities, food, and transportation. Hotel was unable to find a transport for us that left us stranded, we had to find our own way out as it was located within the National park -private area . Food was supposed to be pre-ordered, we tried to add some extra dishes more than 5 hours before dinner, still cannot be arranged for. They arranged a private dining area for our family, however did not clean up from previous guests, there were storage of old chairs and tissue paper lying around. Hotel has no other facilities apart from the room itself and the cafe. No pool, spa/sauna or facilitators Overall the room and view was nice, but it can be accessible without the stay.
