Anonymous UserMy two friends and I stayed at the Meilihao this time, originally just looking for a place to relax for a couple of days. We didn't expect the experience to far exceed our expectations – our schedule was packed from morning till night, so I have to write a thorough positive review.
First, let's talk about the facilities. The hotel's pool isn't a standard rectangle; it's irregularly shaped. The water seemed freshly cleaned and quite clean. It's divided into a children's play area and an adult swimming area, and there's staff monitoring the children's section, which is excellent for safety. There are also lifebuoys nearby. The deep end must be less than 1.65 meters, as the water level wasn't as high as me. Next to the pool, there's a wellness center. We initially planned to get a SPA with my friends, but the prices weren't very reasonable, so we skipped it. Further alongside, there are new energy charging stations, which is fantastic – we didn't have to go out looking for a place to charge.
Dining: The buffet breakfast included with the room was incredibly lavish. It offered both Chinese and Western hot dishes, salads, fried rice, fried noodles, sweet soups, soy milk, egg tarts, donuts, and durian pastries – we thoroughly enjoyed it. Towards the end of our meal, the restaurant staff even brought us a platter of cantaloupe and watermelon. The biggest surprise was the **self-service afternoon tea** in the executive lounge. Everyone dining there was very civilized and quiet. You could help yourself to desserts, snacks, fruits, coffee, and tea. The coffee machine even let you choose between espresso and Americano, both of which were aesthetically pleasing and delicious. I felt like we got our money's worth just from these two meals! There were also small snacks and drinks in the lobby where we checked in, along with fruit drinks. The Qingbuliang sweet soup shop recommended by the lovely staff at the front desk was delicious.
Guest Room: The hallway seemed to have an air freshener; the scent was very pleasant. Our triple room didn't have a window and looked like a school dormitory when we entered. The bed sheets and duvet covers were very clean, and the soft mattress was super comfortable to lie on. There wasn't enough water in the room to drink, but we could take water freely from the hallway.
Upon check-out, the lovely staff asked about our stay, helped us scan the parking code, and even gave us a souvenir gift with some small snacks and a phone stand. The service was exceptional and very thoughtful. Meilihao Hotel has now been added to our list of places to revisit. Next time we're in Panyu, we'll definitely choose this place again.

JS.LifeAbroadMy family and I recently spent a weekend at the Kenmore Art Hotel Residence, and it was, in a word, exceptional. We were looking for a place that offered more space and character than a standard hotel, and this property delivered beyond our hopes. Our Two-Bedroom Residence was impeccably designed—spacious, clean, and filled with natural light. The separate living area gave us room to spread out, and the well-equipped kitchenette was ideal for preparing small meals. But the absolute showstopper was the master bathroom. The deep, freestanding tub positioned by the floor-to-ceiling window, offering panoramic city views, was a daily luxury we all adored. It transformed a simple bath into a serene, memorable experience.

Five-star rating, absolutely fantastic! The sea-view room I booked was even better than the pictures. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows offered an unobstructed panoramic view of the entire ocean. I could lie in bed and gaze at the blue sea and sky, wake up to the sound of waves and the sunrise in the morning, and watch the sunset over the sea from the balcony in the evening. The ambiance was absolutely perfect.
The room's cleanliness was impeccable; every corner was spotless. The bedding was soft and comfortable, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and all the disposable amenities were provided. The appliances were all new and worked great. The owner and housekeeper were warm and attentive, making the check-in and check-out process smooth. They were super quick to respond to any questions I had. It's a short walk to the beach, making it very convenient for getting around. Plus, it's incredibly photogenic! My beach vacation experience was absolutely top-notch. I'll definitely choose this place again next time. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a sea-view getaway!

Anonymous UserThis stay far exceeded my expectations, a five-star review is a must!
Check-in at the front desk was very quick, and the staff were friendly and polite. They proactively informed me about nearby attractions and dining options, and responded to my requests very promptly. The room was spotless, with no stains in the corners or bathroom. The shower had stable water pressure with a good wet/dry separation, the mattress was just right in terms of firmness, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a completely undisturbed night's rest.
The amenities were comprehensive, with smooth WiFi and powerful air conditioning for both heating and cooling. The toiletries were of good quality. The hotel's location is superb, right next to a commercial area and subway station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding food. Overall, the value for money is exceptional. It's perfect for both leisure and business travelers. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area and will recommend it to my friends!

Guest UserThe front desk staff was incredibly thoughtful and even upgraded my room for free. The hotel's location is quite good, with plenty of delicious food options near the subway station. The airport pick-up was also very prompt; no need to share a ride, I could go straight to the hotel as soon as I arrived. Once at the hotel, the room was very spacious and even included a massage chair. As it's a sleep-themed hotel, there were many thoughtful little touches, like music and sleep-friendly lighting. Overall, my stay was a great experience, and I'll likely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shenzhen.

77chaohuiwanAbsolutely loved my stay at Akana L'Incanto! The whole ambiance is just incredible – the pristine white wabi-sabi aesthetic is stunning, and every corner is photo-worthy. I stayed in a sea-view room with an amazing vista, and the private hot tub overlooking the ocean was a dream. The smart home features made for a super comfortable and relaxing stay. It's just a few minutes' walk to the gorgeous Liuliu Sea Beach, where the sunset views are incredibly calming. The resort offers a great variety of dining options, and the service is attentive and thoughtful. It’s the perfect escape from the city bustle for a relaxing getaway. I'll definitely choose this place again for my next beach vacation!

Location: 5/5 – Absolutely Strategic!
The biggest strength of this hotel is its unbeatable location. You’re steps away from McDonald's and Luckin Coffee for quick bites and caffeine. A well-stocked mall is right beside the hotel, making it super easy to grab daily necessities. The best part? A lively night market is directly opposite the hotel! This makes finding delicious, affordable local food incredibly convenient any time of the evening. The whole area is very 热闹 (rènào - bustling/energetic) – perfect if you want to be in the heart of the action.
Cleanliness: 3/5 – Okay for the Price, Manage Expectations
The general cleanliness is acceptable, if you adjust your expectations. It's definitely not a 5-star luxury experience, but for a budget/mid-range stay, it's passable and reasonably maintained. Don't expect immaculate perfection, but the basics are covered.
Room & Atmosphere: 2/5 – Persistent Smoke Smell
The major downside, especially in the rooms and hallways, is a strong and pervasive smoke smell. It's quite noticeable and doesn't dissipate easily. Unfortunately, this seems to be a common issue in many hotels within the region, but it's definitely present and unpleasant here if you're sensitive to it.
Breakfast: 1/5 – Strongly Not Recommended / Unhygienic
Avoid the breakfast option. Hygiene standards here are very poor. I personally observed small cockroaches crawling on the tables in the breakfast area. This is completely unacceptable and a major health red flag. Do yourself a favor and skip it entirely. Thankfully, with McDonald's, Luckin, the mall food court, and the fantastic night market opposite, you have plenty of much better (and cleaner) alternatives nearby.
Overall:
This hotel is all about the location, location, location. If being in a super convenient, vibrant area with easy access to food, coffee, and shopping is your top priority, and you're on a budget, it serves that purpose. The cleanliness is tolerable for the category. However, the strong smoke smell in the rooms and corridors is a significant drawback, and the breakfast is dangerously unhygienic (cockroach sighting confirmed). Choose this hotel for the prime spot if you can tolerate the smoke and definitely plan to eat breakfast elsewhere.
Who should stay: Budget-conscious travelers prioritizing an unbeatable, lively location who aren't sensitive to smoke smells and will skip the hotel breakfast.
Who should avoid: Families with young children, travelers sensitive to smoke, those prioritizing high cleanliness standards, or anyone planning to eat the hotel breakfast.

ShiwodeyueliangSeriously unearthed a hidden gem! The environment is incredibly healing; opening the window reveals stunning views of green mountains and trees. The air is fresh, it's wonderfully quiet, and it's so relaxing to be away from the city hustle. The room was clean and tidy, decorated warmly and elegantly, and the bedding was super comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The host was very warm, easygoing, and provided thoughtful, meticulous service with great attention to detail. The surrounding scenery is absolutely breathtaking, perfect for photos. Dining and staying here were both very pleasant, and it offers excellent value for money. I'll definitely come back for my next vacation and highly recommend it to everyone!

I recently stayed at the Dongyuan Hotel with my brothers for a business trip, and overall, it is a highly practical choice if you know what to expect. The room itself was good and perfectly comfortable for our needs, but the absolute best part of this hotel is its prime location.
Being situated right in the Huaqiangbei area is incredible, especially if you need quick access to the electronics and tech hubs. It is incredibly convenient for navigating Shenzhen, as you are just a short walk away from the Hongling South Subway Station. Getting to the hotel was also fairly straightforward by taking the Airport Express Bus directly to the Huaqiangbei stop.
Another major positive is their flexible timing. They offer early check-in starting at 10:00 AM and a late check-out up to 2:00 PM, which is a massive help when you are trying to coordinate business meetings or odd flight times.
However, there is one major drawback that you must be prepared for: the hotel is located on the 3rd floor of No. 16 Bading Street, and there is absolutely no elevator in the building. Having to use the stairs every day, especially while hauling heavy business luggage up and down, was a significant hassle.
Additionally, keep in mind that this is a localized, no-frills setup. There is no on-site parking available, and the property lacks a major restaurant (though you are in a bustling neighborhood with plenty of food options right outside).
Bottom line: If you are traveling light, can handle the stairs, and want a budget-friendly base right in the middle of the action, this hotel's location cannot be beaten. But if you have heavy bags, look elsewhere.
