The boss was very enthusiastic. I contacted him one day in advance and waited for us at the station early the next morning. The accommodation was close to the East Gate. We said we were going to Crescent Lake and Mingsha Mountain. The boss took the initiative to drive us to the Middle Gate, saying that we could save 20 yuan on the shuttle bus fare. The next day, we signed up for a tour group to go out and play. The boss also sent us to the boarding point early in the morning. The boss was afraid that it would be inconvenient to go back after the Crescent Lake Music Festival, so he also came to pick us up, making our travel very convenient. The accommodation environment is also very good, and the steamed bun for breakfast is particularly large.

I brought my parents, who are in their 70s, to visit Maiji Mountain. The hostess was incredibly warm and attentive. After arriving at the North Gate 1 of the Maiji Mountain scenic area, we just made a call and she came directly to pick us up and take us to the guesthouse. The room was spotless, not a speck of dust anywhere. For dinner, we had mushroom stew with free-range chicken and stir-fried wild vegetables – truly delicious! 😋 The next day, she dropped us off at the entrance of the Maiji Mountain scenic spot at 7:30 AM, so we were the first ones to go in at 8:30 AM. After our visit, we saw a super long queue had already formed outside. Afterward, we took a taxi to explore Xianren Cliff and Jingtu Temple. Finally, the hostess even drove our luggage to the Line 34 bus stop to drop us off. It was a truly perfect day, so relaxed and easy. We avoided the crowds in the morning and didn't have to wait in long lines, making for a 10/10 visiting experience. Huge thanks to the hostess for the pick-up and drop-off service!

I snapped a few photos of the interior – that little chair is my favorite, so incredibly comfortable. **Cleanliness:** Spotless, couldn't find a single fault. Plus, they have self-service laundry machines, which was great for refreshing our gear halfway through our Qinghai-Gansu trip. The breakfast is on the ninth floor, and when the weather isn't too hot, you can even dine outdoors, which is a lovely touch.

If life is a never-ending journey, then the camping trip at the Desert Star Hotel is undoubtedly a highlight of my journey. When I arrived at the campsite, the first thing that attracted me was the unique tent house. Unlike regular tents, the top of the tent is made of special transparent materials, like a huge viewing platform, which builds a bridge of communication between me and the vast galaxy. As night fell, I couldn't wait to lie on the soft bed, and when I looked up, the bright starry sky was presented to me without reservation. The stars twinkled, like gems inlaid on the black sky, beautiful as a dream. At that moment, the world seemed to press the mute button, and the impetuousness and noise in my heart were instantly soothed. The unique beauty of this quietness made me intoxicated. It is worth mentioning that the hotel staff is very considerate. After placing the order, the customer service guy at the front desk added our contact information and gave us some local travel tips, which saved us a lot of time. From the warm reception at check-in, to the careful guidance during the activities, to the warm greetings at night, every detail made people feel cared for. They not only provided me with thoughtful service, but also made me feel the simplicity and enthusiasm of the desert people. This desert camping trip not only allowed me to appreciate the magnificent scenery of the desert, but also experienced exciting and interesting activities, which became an eternal and beautiful memory in my heart.

I loved the Courtyard B&B. The rural but very chic style. My room was generous, furnishing in the same traditional style. Clean throughout The reception area very attractive and provides nice secluded spaces for relaxing- working in my case) under Bamboo trees and mandala decorated glasses of the ceiling. Very peaceful. I very much appreciated the presence of a kittens with mum and a little doggie which I perceived like mascotte of the place. They were very well maintained and cared of. The stuff is very nice and helpful and we were able to understand each others in some way. I highly recommend this accomodation both for holiday and work.

The location is pretty good, with lots of food options right outside. It's also just one bus ride away from the Provincial Museum, and best of all, parking is free. The room's bed can be fully enclosed, offering great privacy, though it can get a bit stuffy when completely closed off – that's really a matter of personal preference.

I booked a tent room specifically because I'd never stayed there before. It was very clean, and even though there were several tents next to each other, it wasn't noisy at all at night. The owner was very welcoming, and I envied him for having a very nice BMW ADV. I highly recommend staying here!

Location-wise, the camp is right next to the West Gate of the Danxia scenic area, making travel incredibly convenient. No need for roundabout detours; I could step out early in the morning to catch the Danxia sunrise. This fantastic location also saved me a lot of effort when it came to stargazing at night. Now, let's talk about the Starry Sky Yurt. Before I arrived, I was a bit worried about roughing it in a tent out in the wilderness, but my stay completely changed my mind. The yurt was spotlessly clean and tidy, well-ventilated with no strange odors. The bed was soft and comfortable, and despite the large temperature swings in the Gobi Desert between day and night, the interior was well-insulated and never felt cold or damp. The en-suite bathroom was excellent, with 24-hour hot water and a full range of toiletries. It truly offered a luxurious wilderness experience that blended comfort with ambiance, without compromising on daily conveniences. However, the panoramic skylight at the top of the yurt was the real highlight and the biggest surprise of my trip. The camp is far from the city, meaning almost no light pollution. As night fell, the entire sky was unblocked and spread out above me. I didn't even have to step outside into the wind; I could lie in bed and gaze up at the countless stars. The Milky Way stretched clearly across the mountains, with stars so bright and dense – a magnificent night sky rarely seen in the city. Lying there quietly, watching the celestial river flow and listening to the distant Gobi breeze, all my travel fatigue slowly melted away. It was incredibly romantic and healing. The camp's amenities were also very thoughtful. In the evening, you can enjoy a starlit BBQ and hotpot. After dinner, there's a bonfire party. Then, after a stroll, you return to your yurt to continue enjoying the tranquil starry sky. The self-driving parking area is spacious, and RV resupply facilities are comprehensive. The staff were warm and meticulous in their service; they thoughtfully informed me of the best stargazing times and were always on hand to help with any issues. The unique Danxia mountain light show at night, coupled with the vast starry sky, created a multi-layered and stunning view. The special clear-broth suoyang hotpot was authentic and generously portioned, perfect for a hot meal after a day of exploring. Whether you're traveling as a couple or with friends, the Starry Sky Yurt is an exceptionally suitable choice. You can admire the Danxia landforms up close and immerse yourself in lying under the Milky Way – it perfectly combines natural beauty with comfortable accommodation. This is an unmissable gem when visiting Danxia, and I will definitely choose the Starry Sky Yurt again on my next trip to Zhangye.

The B&B has a large yard, a good environment, and is surrounded by green trees. It is very close to the Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Lake scenic area. The owner will take you to a small path, which takes less than ten minutes to reach the scenic area, which is especially convenient for watching the sunrise and sunset. The room is spacious, clean and tidy, and there is no odor. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and the spray hot water is large, so it is very comfortable to take a bath. Recommended! ! !
