Honestly, during the off-season, for a room type like this at just over 150 (CNY), staying on the 60th floor is incredibly good value for money. The room itself is quite spacious. I actually booked this place after reading a review, and honestly, I think it's perfectly fine. I dislike situations where customers are clearly in the wrong or leave bad reviews unfairly, and then the boss blames and scolds the staff. I don't like that. So, sometimes when guests are being unreasonable or trying to take advantage, whether it's a staff member or the owner responding, I think it's perfectly acceptable. A spade is a spade.

Service: Excellent Ambiance: Five-star worthy Facilities: Complete and comfortable Service: Attentive, warm, and meticulous I was truly captivated by the elegant, antique decor of this hotel – it's absolutely stunning at first sight! The bedding in the rooms is soft and comfortable, and the bathroom features a convenient wet/dry separation. The smart devices are also very user-friendly. The service is warm and responsive without being intrusive, and they are always ready to help. The location is deep within the scenic area, making it quiet and peaceful, yet very close to the main street. Right next to the hotel is a Michelin-starred Fujian cuisine restaurant, where you can enjoy Buddha Jumps Over the Wall prepared by a master inheritor of intangible cultural heritage, along with a variety of delicious Fujian dishes. A must-visit for food lovers!

We had a lovely stay, the room’s view was great, bed very comfortable, nice cotton good quality lienen, flexible room service time, water/towels etc always topped up/ refilled. Free luggage storage possible. All really smooth and pleasant. Keep in mind that if you choose smart room- need to say the commands to open the curtains in Chinese. I speak some Chinese and it made the check-in and stay easier, however the person who showed us the room wasn’t very friendly.

My flight was delayed, so I didn't arrive at the airport until 11 PM. The owner was super welcoming and offered a free airport pickup. When I got to the hotel, it was even better than I expected – a large bed and a smaller one, with all the amenities. The location was great too, with plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. In the morning, I even noticed outdoor tables for tea and a fridge, which was a nice little surprise! Oh, and the room had a washing machine. I asked the owner for laundry detergent, and they personally brought it over, even though it was quite late. I felt a bit bad, but it just goes to show how great the service is. Definitely recommend!

The hotel had its ups and downs. The service was warm and welcoming. I landed early in the morning and wanted to check in ahead of time, so I called the front desk. Langham was the only hotel that allowed early check-in, so I booked it immediately. Check-in was smooth after a taxi ride, but the room cleaning was a bit careless. When I showered, I found a used, torn shower cap from the previous guest next to the decorative fixture in the tub, as pictured. It hadn't been cleaned up. I was a bit speechless. I was so exhausted that morning that I just showered quickly and went straight to bed. The hotel really needs to be more diligent with its cleaning.

Health is really worth boasting ~ The beds are clean and tidy, and the bathroom is refreshing and odorless. The service staff is polite and professional, responds quickly when needing help, and live comfortably. This stay experience really exceeded expectations and must be five-star praise! The hotel is conveniently located, the surrounding travel and dining are very convenient, the overall environment is clean and elegant, and it feels very comfortable as soon as you enter the door. The room is spacious, the decoration is simple and atmospheric, the bedding is soft and comfortable, the pillow height is moderate, and it is particularly practical to sleep. The sanitation is in place, the corners are clean, there is no smell, the toiletries are complete and the quality is good. The sound insulation effect is also very good, quiet at night, not noisy, can rest well. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, the check-in is fast and efficient, the demand can be responded in time, and the attitude is gentle and patient. The overall facilities are complete and the details are intimate, whether it is a business trip or a trip is very suitable. Very good value for money, live at ease and relax, will choose here next time, I really recommend it to everyone!

The invincible sea view and beautiful environment were amazing. Traveling during the off-peak season meant fewer people, making the experience excellent. There was a minor hiccup though: the first room had some equipment issues due to the strong sea breeze and humidity. However, the front desk resolved it by moving me to a better room. On the downside, the front desk phone rang for a long time without anyone answering; usually, I had to call room service for things like water or children's slippers, and they answered much faster. Overall, all the hotel staff seemed rather indifferent, with no smiles, and their responses to requests were just standard. The advertised special activities, like the sea-view train, archery, dry-land curling, and the small boats in the garden, were nowhere to be found. It's a large garden hotel, and I didn't explore much beyond the beach. My overall impression was just average. However, just before checking out, a manager from the Fuzhou Haiyingwan Baixiang Hotel Guest Relations Department handled a problem with outstanding enthusiasm and excellent service. That was the only time I felt truly served and valued. A special shout-out to her!

Before I arrived, I had booked another place, but then I found out this hotel was newly opened, so I decisively canceled the other one and booked this one instead. It's located near Wanda Plaza, so the location is great, and there's convenient transportation downstairs. Plus, there are plenty of food options just a hundred meters away. The front desk lady who checked me in was enthusiastic and patient. The room environment was excellent – clean, spacious, and the hygiene was top-notch. The bedding was very comfortable, the shower had good hot water, and there was even a tea table where I could enjoy some tea. This is a real gem of a hotel, definitely worth recommending!

GGuest UserLocated at the end of Nanmen Bay, on the upper left of Dongshan Fengdongshi Scenic Area, the room we stayed in has no noise mirrors and looks like it is in the scenic area. The super invincible sea view, we can take postcard-like photos on our own private balcony. In terms of geographical location, other B&Bs or hotels on Dongshan Island may really not be able to compare with his home. In terms of the luxury of the room, many B&Bs I have stayed in in China are really not on the same level as his home. The decoration in the room is simple but high-end, and many equipment and furniture are imported (so although the room fee has been collected, pre-authorization is still required). His shower room is one of the few hotels and B&Bs I have stayed in in China that will not leak. The projector also has a high-definition picture. There are many snacks in the room. Basically, you don’t want to go out when you stay in the room, because the beautiful sea view can make you lie on the rocking chair on the balcony for an afternoon. It’s really a bit like our vacation in Seychelles or Six Senses Yao Noi. Because it is relatively hidden, it is a little far from the parking and commercial areas (many restaurants are in this area), and the owner of the B&B will drive a battery car to pick you up. The B&B is not far from the only remaining ancient street in Dongshan, and there are many snack shops and small restaurants on the ancient street. Go to the lower left after leaving the B&B, and you will see many piers where fishing boats are moored after passing the Fengdongshi ticket office. The more famous Fish Ball Grandma on the island is nearby. His Liufu fish balls, peanut sesame cakes and meat dumplings are delicious. The B&B does not provide breakfast, but you can take it out, which is not inconvenient. The main thing here is the high-end rooms and the unbeatable sea view. The most important thing is that dogs are also welcome. My two short legs also like it here very much.

HhkustsungodExcellent stay! I received a free room upgrade, which included a bathtub and a wet/dry separation in the bathroom. The guesthouse lobby has two adorable cats, a British Shorthair named 'Jinbao' and a Golden British Shorthair named 'Zhaocai'. Zhaocai is quite a rebel and will playfully swat at anyone, but Jinbao is super friendly and lets you pet her as long as you have cat treats. The overall accommodation environment was fantastic. What was even better was their restaurant. We stayed for two nights and had all three of our main meals at the guesthouse. The food was absolutely delicious and perfectly suited our taste buds. In contrast, many restaurants within the Wuyishan scenic area can be hit or miss – I won't name names, but there are just too many 'influencer' spots. Right across the road from the guesthouse is 'Impression Dahongpao', which was a great show to catch in the evening. A short walk further is the Tea Culture Park, and if you follow the path deep into the park, you'll find a famous walking trail. Every weekend evening, there's a band that performs there for free. On the morning we went to the Wuyishan National Park, we even borrowed a traditional bamboo hat from the guesthouse, which was a fun experience. The only slight downside was breakfast; it wasn't quite to my liking as it was a bit greasy and salty. So, on the second morning, we went out for Zixi noodles instead. The soundproofing in the room could be better; I could hear conversations in the hallway in the morning, but it wasn't a major issue. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

GGuest UserI rarely say this on my reviews, but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this Minsu. When I come back to Quanzhou for another family holiday, I will book this place again. Firstly, the location: It is unbeatable. It is near enough to be in the midst of the action in Quanzhou (near the walking street, eateries, restaurants, shopping etc etc), yet very quiet for us to enjoy a good night’s rest, or a good conversation at night over tea. Second, the nice balance between an authentic cultural home and modernism. We had the entire Minsu to ourselves, 6 rooms in total. Renovated about 3-4 years ago, the Minsu gave us the experience of living in an authentic Chinese inn, yet the amenities were modern….comfortable beds, modern toilets, refrigerators available etc….The courtyards were also beautiful. The entire Minsu was tastefully done…..plus it was spotlessly clean. Thirdly, the owners. They were so friendly and helpful. They met us at the drop off point, and brought us to the Minsu when we checked in, helping to move some of our luggages (and they did the same thing when we checked out). They went out of their way to help purchase traditional puppet show (木偶) tickets (at a small discount somemore). After we checked out, my son left his hoodie in the room. The owners assisted to courier the jacket to the next city we were heading to (we were already in the train at that time). And lastly, every morning and every night, either Mr Du, his son or his daughter in law would invite us to join them for tea. They would then proceed to serve tea the traditional way, while having a conversation with us. They also taught us certain traditions, protocols and rules when serving tea. They have a cat called TangYuan (汤圆), in which the kids in the family enjoyed playing with. The only thing to note is that public transport (via taxis and buses) only can drop you off at a spot about 5min walk away. Also, they provide disposable towels, not the regular towels given at hotels. If it is an issue, just bring your own towels. Otherwise, this place deserves 5 out of 5 stars.

GGuest User1949 truly feels like an idyllic retreat, far from the city's hustle and bustle, yet brimming with local charm. It's conveniently located very close to the Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster (Four Dishes and One Soup). The front desk and service staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. We booked a family suite with a slide, which was an absolute hit with the kids! They played all evening, and there was constant laughter – it was truly delightful and excellent value for money. We had dinner at the hotel, and it was also fantastic – the chef truly puts thought into every dish. Breakfast by the stream, listening to the gentle babbling water and enjoying the crisp morning air, offered a truly unique and wonderful experience. Simply wonderful! 👍

GGuest UserThe staff were extremely friendly and attentive, even before my arrival. They tried to contact me in advance, but as a foreign guest, I do not have a Chinese phone number. It would be more convenient if the hotel could ask for guests’ WeChat IDs through the Trip.com messenger instead. Upon arrival, the staff created a WeChat group and added me in, which turned out to be very helpful. Through the group, they assisted with all kinds of questions, such as recommended places to visit, how to rent an e-bike, and where to eat nearby. The responsiveness and service were excellent. The room was awesome — very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable, and the view was fantastic. I also really loved the projector screen in the room, which allowed me to watch WeTV shows and other content. It made relaxing in the room even more enjoyable. The hotel provides e-bike rentals, which is a great feature. However, I was personally under-geared for the weather. It rained the day before, and the entire day was cloudy with temperatures around 11°C. The sea breeze was very strong and cold, especially when riding the e-bike with the wind blowing directly at you. Proper winter gear is definitely needed in such conditions. If the hotel could provide glove and jacket rentals, that would be an amazing improvement. In the evening, the staff even brought a small gift to the room. The gift was thoughtful and practical, and I really liked it — it was a warm and welcoming gesture that made the stay feel extra special. Breakfast was okay. Guests are seated on Level 2, and the meal is served to the table. As I come from a place where some Chinese do not consume beef, it would be great if there were options such as chicken or beef. That said, the beef noodles were actually very good. The Western-style breakfast, however, was quite average.

GGuest UserThis is a super warm homestay. It is newly opened, with new equipment, clean and hygienic environment, and spacious rooms. It is completely different from the concerns and pictures when booking. We checked in on New Year's Eve. The proprietress was very welcoming and cooked a New Year's Eve dinner for us. She charged a symbolic fee, which was very warm. This B&B is owned by Zhencheng. The proprietress also took us into the building for free to watch the show on New Year's Eve. She is especially good at taking photos. At the beginning of the year, she came to cook glutinous rice breakfast for us and I gave the boss lady a big hug right away!

GGuest UserThis homestay is new, nice, clean and comfortable. The service is like a hotel. This homestay is located inside the Yunshuiyao scenic area, and so every guest needs to pay an entrance fee. The homestay can help to arrange a taxi to pick up from 南靖railway station to the homestay with a reasonable price. If you like beautiful scenery, peaceful and relaxing environment, this is the right place as it’s away from the crowded village centre. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the village centre, ie the water wheel, old banyan tree, and souvenir shops, through a scenic route along the stream and under the shade of old trees. Trekking the cobblestone path gives you a good workout. There’s a few tulou (earth buildings) within the scenic area but only 2 are open for public to visit. The others are private. Hegui lou is less than a minute’s walk from the homestay, passing by paddy fields, vegetable gardens and lotus field. You can literally see it from the homestay. The homestay serves delicious local food. I had dinner twice and enjoyed tasting different dishes. Breakfast is simple and includes local produce, giving you a taste of village life. Also, the homestay serves tea from its own farm. I enjoyed tasting different tea. Lastly, the staff 小凉is very friendly and good service.
