The Glenview ITC plaza hotel is one of the best hotels we stayed. It was a walking distance to major sightseeing places of Chongqing as well as had great eating places in and around the hotel. The breakfast-lunch buffet till 13:30 had a good selection, which was changed at 11:30. In addition, the afternoon tea served on 39th floor provided with a great view of the city while enjoying a game of pool.
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much.

This was my first time visiting Chongqing, and I stayed at FENGTANG. The service was truly excellent, easily on par with hotels costing over a thousand yuan. From the moment we checked in, the experience was incredibly comfortable. Due to the complex terrain of Xiahaoli, the concierge even came out to the main road intersection to meet us.
The hotel is in a fairly central location, and the entrance seems to be a popular photo spot, with tourists coming and going from morning till night. My sister would wake up every day and just gaze out the window at the scenery – it was very relaxing. The room was minimalist and not very spacious. The afternoon tea and breakfast were slightly less impressive, but that's a minor detail. On our second day, when we were moving to another hotel, the staff even proactively helped us transport our luggage. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit!

We have booked two rooms. Our big one is on 37 th floor with nice city view . Room is clean and service is efficient . I did not bring enough adaptor so I just contact the reception he just bring in adaptor in less than 10 mins which I'm very happy and appreciate their prompt reply which make life easier. They also replenish your toiletries according to you need. We have been well looked after so far .
However my daughter has booked in a smaller ( two single beds in room with partition .On second night she found some tiny bugs/ flies on one of her bed . We thought may be the weather is too hot or one of the window was opened so fly in these flies but actually the window is closed and she is on 35 th floor . Anyway my daughter just sleep on other bed but in morning found there's one bug on her bed too. Not sure if there's any bug infestation .

The lady at the hotel's front desk had a great attitude and was very attentive. There are plenty of food and drink options around the hotel. It's also very close to all the attractions. The room itself was spacious and bright, with large bay windows offering pretty good views outside. I highly recommend it; it offers great value for money.
This is an old hotel, but it's very well-maintained, and the quality is still top-notch! I stayed here once about 10 years ago and hadn't been back since. This hotel used to be quite the place back then! I'm delighted to have had the chance to stay again. Both the facilities and service are excellent, and the location is super convenient. I'll definitely come back if I have the opportunity! Also, a big thank you to Luke Lee at the front desk for his very warm welcome during check-in!
The location of the hotel is quite good for visiting the Eling No 2 Factory site whereby a factory site of various purposes have been gentrified and is now a very popular site for photo taking. You can also visit the Eling park which is just a few minutes walk along the one road passing by this area.
There are numerous layout for the rooms here and you just need to pick which you like with all of them having a fantastic view across the river alibeit not the view you see at ChaoTianMen where the two rivers meet.
Just below the hotel there is a convenience store , and walking further or across the road, eateries and cafe of catering to wide range of tastes.
The room itself is huge though sparsely anointed. Ceiling is extremely high. Modern fixtures , it's clean enough though it looks like it's due for a minor renovation in the near future.
The single road below is quite crowded with big tour buses, , smaller groups in minivans, private hire cars coming and going throughout the day. From here you can also walk down narrow stairs with small vendors selling all kind of things around all corners. Great place for the imaginative photographer. The stairs will ultimately lead you to one of the quaintest thing, the city metro passing through a residential building with a station in it. Loads of tourist taking pictures and all.
On the whole this place is quite a good alternative to staying in the main Liberation Square and CHaoTianMen port area.
The overall travel and accommodation experience is very complete, the hotel has plenty of free parking spaces, and it is particularly convenient to travel by car. The layout of the room is simple and generous, the living is easy, the toiletries are complete, the drinking water supply is sufficient, the staff is enthusiastic, and will come again next time.

This hotel is a hidden gem for travelers, and my overall experience exceeded expectations. The room had great natural light and offered stunning river views, both day and night. The bedding was comfortable, ensuring a sound sleep, and the cleanliness was impeccable. It's very convenient for exploring the surrounding attractions. The front desk service was attentive and thoughtful, making my stay both comfortable and worry-free. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again on my next trip!

I visited Chongqing recently, and my hotel stay was absolutely fantastic – definitely worth a great review! The location is simply unbeatable, right near Jiefangbei, which made getting around incredibly convenient. Whether it was checking out the iconic Jiefangbei monument or enjoying the enchanting night view at Hongyadong, I could easily walk everywhere, saving a lot of time and transportation costs. The concierge was not only efficient during check-in but also patiently recommended great places to visit and delicious restaurants nearby. As someone unfamiliar with the city, this really helped me get my bearings, and I have to give her a huge thumbs up! The projector in the room was super clear; after a long day of exploring, it was so relaxing to just curl up in bed and watch a movie. The hotel's cleanliness was also impeccable; the room was spotless, which made me feel very comfortable. The facilities were comprehensive, and I was especially thrilled to find a self-service laundry room. For someone like me who likes to travel light but worries about running out of clothes, this was a lifesaver! I could wash my dirty clothes between sightseeing activities, which was incredibly thoughtful! Overall, my stay was excellent, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chongqing. I'm sure you'll be as satisfied as I was! I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Chongqing.

Excellent
RrunrunzhaoThis hotel is nestled in the heart of Xiahaoli, a beautifully renovated century-old Western-style building. During the jacaranda season, I silently wished on my way there, and incredibly, I was assigned a room with views of both the blooming flowers and the river! It perfectly captured the民國 (Republic of China) era aesthetic I love. The staff were also incredibly friendly, and they even have adorable pets named Laikai and Caicai. The afternoon tea pastries and sparkling juice were absolutely fantastic.
On one side, you have the high-rise river views, and on the other, the stilt houses nestled under hundred-year-old banyan trees – a seamless blend of old and new. This is Xiahaoli. There are also some charming independent shops here; I even picked up a tea set and some delicious local food.
WWLKohIt is best to reach before 6pm when it is still bright as the old town is located uphill and there are different flights of stairs up. You may end up at the wrong inn if you don't take the correct stairs leading up to the main street. It's also best to bring a day pack and no luggages as the terrain makes it difficult to bring luggages up. The lady boss is very helpful and pleasant. She also provides a simple but hearty breakfast of noodles, porridge and sweet buns for guests. Cat lovers will be in for a treat as there are 3 adorable resident cats. The rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable, with both heating and air conditioning. The only grouse I have is that the shower cubicle had a missing door so water will splash out when showering. (301)
GGenOhlsonA cosy family-friendly enchanted hideaway in the mountains with the clouds. The whole place seems to have been a long-time passion in creating the most charming and comfortable inn from conception to realisation with both the exterior and interior decorated in either a rustic country cottage or a European apartment style from the last century. We were so happy here and my child especially appreciated the room and all of its surroundings.
Every nook and cranny of the place is excellently utiilised. From the dining room as well as the main outside eatery balcony, one has a beautiful view of the mountainside in all its greenery with butterflies flitting amongst flowers. Don't forget to check out the third story balconies and the library. Screen projector fittings are in place for a medium-sized conference. The place even has a couple of majiang table nooks should you want to play with friends.
The surrounding forest environment of the inn is all sorts of paths and green terraces going off in different directions. There is a playpark for children with its own pedal-powered mini-roller coaster and other items for children to climb on.
There is an off-site pond and ancient stone bridge nearby. One can take a short hike up the driveway and explore the diverging walking track paths. There's also an ecological technology exhibition centre not far up the road from the inn.
A large portion of the clientele when we were there were day trip visitors in family and friend groups. Big tables as well as KTV facilities could be booked for the day.
The food quality is fantastic and the portions generous. There are no nearby shops so all meals are taken in-house; the staff will consult you about when and what is on offer from the extensive menu. You can specify whether you'd want your food spicy or not when possible depending on the dish.
The genuinely friendly and accomodating staff take such good care of you and step in whenever they feel you may need some assistance. My child had a bad cough at the time, and they were so kind bringing her hot drinks with honey and offering medicine they happened to have there.
My Chinese is not good, but with a standard translation app, you're able to communicate what you need and the staff are so obliging to help. They genuinely do seem to be happy to be working there, and cudos and credit it to the owner for taking such good care of the staff that they in turn carry it over to their care for their guests. It was a pleasure to meet them and the owner.

MMさん。”I’ve seen comments saying that the cheaper single rooms in China tend to reek of cigarette smoke, but thankfully this hotel had no tobacco smell at all—that was a plus.
That said, it didn’t feel as clean as the reviews suggested. Still, the owner was friendly, so I’d say it’s fine overall.”
AAnonymous UserChoosing this hotel for my trip was such a great decision! It's super close to Jiangbei Airport, so there's absolutely no need to rush for your flight. What's even better is the complimentary shuttle service – the driver was punctual and reliable, making me feel completely at ease even with a late-night arrival. Plus, the 24-hour stay option is incredibly convenient for those of us with tight schedules. The room itself was very spacious, bright, and felt far from cramped. They even offered a warm, comforting congee in the evening, a thoughtful touch that instantly melted away my travel fatigue. Overall, the experience was fantastic. This is definitely my top choice for airport transit accommodation, and I'll be back for sure!
GGuest UserThe owner was incredibly kind and went out of their way to accommodate all our requests. The cleanliness was impressive, and the stay was very comfortable. It's super close to Jiefangbei, which was really convenient. Plus, there are so many attractions nearby! This was truly my most satisfying trip, and the hotel provided an excellent environment for relaxation.

JJo TehThe property could benefit from some updates and maintenance. One of the queen bedrooms was converted from a balcony, making it extremely cold during winter. Additionally, the heater in one of the rooms next to the hall was not working, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep through the night.
The bathroom in one of the rooms remained choked throughout our stay, and overall, the bathrooms were not thoroughly cleaned. The kitchen also lacked proper cleanliness, which was disappointing.
On a positive note, the view from the hall was decent, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to make up for the shortcomings in comfort and cleanliness.

AAskeRMThe best hotel we’ve experienced in China. We are budget travelers by all means but this was just insane for the price. Maybe because we visited in early December, but we were immediately upgraded
from a single queen bed room to a double queen bed with river view room. The cleanliness was top notch and the amenities were nice too. Thank you very much

Outstanding
TTECK CHEE LEEThe hotel is located right in the center of town. However, be aware that guest rooms are only on the 3rd floor; the first and second floors are currently under construction. It is very noisy during the day if you plan on resting then, though nighttime is fine. Many surrounding buildings are also under renovation as the area is transitioning from old businesses to new ones. Note that the photos on Trip.com were likely taken several years ago.
Breakfast is served as a set meal at a separate restaurant located just next door. >
That said, the service is excellent. During our stay, construction workers accidentally cut a cable that knocked out the heater for the entire building. After we complained, the receptionist worked tirelessly, coordinating with the workers to ensure the hot water was restored by 9 PM as promised. He also helped us arrange transport.
Regarding location, it’s a short walk to the tourist center where buses depart for Wulong Karst Mountain. These buses leave once full, so there is no exact timetable, but they start around 8:30 AM. While the immediate vicinity of the hotel is a bit quiet, the newer buildings across from the tourist center offer plenty of dining options.
