GGuest UserI specifically brought my kids to Universal Studios and decided to stay here for two nights. I debated for a long time whether to stay at a Universal hotel or nearby, and I'm so glad I chose this place. Upon arrival, I thought the hotel was particularly beautiful and very new. Check-in was on the eighth floor. From the floor-to-ceiling windows on the eighth floor, you can get a really clear view of Hogwarts Castle. We were given a corner room on the tenth floor, which was very quiet, though a bit of a walk from the elevator. The room had two 1.3-meter beds, which was enough for me and my two kids. There's also a capsule coffee machine in the room, so I could make coffee in the morning. I didn't opt for the hotel breakfast because we woke up late. The hotel's location is excellent. It's a 5-minute taxi ride to Universal Studios, and right next door is the Wangfujing Bayland shopping mall, which is huge. You can walk directly through the hotel's third floor to the mall, which is incredibly convenient and keeps you out of the sun. Back to the room: it has two small vanity sinks, so families don't have to crowd. The toilet and shower are separate, but the water pressure in the shower was too low, possibly because we were on the 10th floor. I hope they can improve this; showering wasn't a great experience. On the top floor, there's a bar that's beautiful at night, but they don't allow minors, even for dining, which was a shame. I took the kids up to see the view but we had to go back to the room. There's also a Sichuan restaurant on the 10th floor. The reception area on the eighth floor has a section for hotel afternoon tea, which overlooks the Universal Studios park. There's a swimming pool on the 10th floor. It's not a huge area, but it's quite lovely. I went to take a look but didn't swim. I asked, and it closes at 10:30 PM. After check-out, you can store your luggage on the first floor and then go shopping at the mall. Overall, this hotel offers incredible value for money. Staying here for Universal Studios means you save enough money to buy an Express Pass, which is fantastic!

Mmayday5525We brought our kids to Beijing for the May Day holiday. After a long search, we settled on this hotel and were very satisfied. 1. **Excellent Location:** It's located near Longfu Temple, very close to Dongsi Station (Metro Lines 5/6) and National Art Museum Station (Metro Line 8). We walked to Jingshan Park and Wangfujing. You can also enjoy a city walk around Dongsi. 2. **Spacious Room:** Our room was quite large, probably around 40 square meters. Finding such a spacious room in this location is a rarity. 3. **Well-Equipped Facilities:** The hotel has excellent facilities, including a microwave, induction cooktop, and toaster (though we didn't use them). The most convenient feature is the washing machine, which also has a dryer! This was incredibly helpful. I've used washing machines with dryers in other hotels before, and sometimes they don't dry completely or leave clothes very wrinkled. This washing machine's 3-hour and 10-minute drying cycle dried everything thoroughly and with minimal wrinkles. Thumbs up! What's even more thoughtful: the hotel provides laundry detergent (we didn't know this beforehand and bought our own). 4. **Friendly Staff:** The staff were warm and welcoming. You can also add the butler on WeChat for easy inquiries about basic matters. If you order takeout, a robot will even deliver it to your room, so you don't have to go downstairs to pick it up. 5. **Room for Improvement:** If there's one minor thing that could be improved, it would be the attention to detail in the cleaning. Overall, it was a truly satisfying stay. Highly recommend.

MMarcoPoPoDuring the May Day holiday, there were people everywhere. I just wanted to find a quiet place with less traffic and less people. This place is really a very good choice. It is not far from the Beijing-Weihai Expressway. Facing the mountains, there are two hot springs. The children are happy to play, and I can also listen to music and enjoy the tranquility on the recliner. Next time I go, I should bring barbecue ingredients. The courtyard provides free grills, charcoal and condiments.

YYuemanjiulouThe hotel is conveniently located right next to the cable car and gondola, making it super easy to get up to the Great Wall. The hotel itself is like a park, with rooms scattered throughout the mountains. I booked what they called a 'small courtyard,' but it was actually a shared courtyard with several rooms. When I first booked, I thought the room would be tiny, only 11 sq m, which I figured must have been a typo, as it's actually more like 40-50 sq m. The amenities are quite good; the AC gets plenty warm, and there's a small balcony. I especially loved their grey slippers; they're very well made. The restaurant staff are all incredibly friendly, and the food is delicious with generous portions! I'd actually suggest they offer some smaller dishes, as for a solo traveler like me, one dish is often enough, so I can't try multiple things. Breakfast is okay, just enough to fill you up. If you're driving, you can notify the hotel with your license plate number beforehand and drive directly to their parking lot, which is super convenient. Overall, I had a great experience.

GGuest UserFour words: Feel at home❤️ First of all, the name Qingqing Courtyard attracted me, and I decided to book this place on Ctrip to try it out. As soon as I arrived at the door, the environment was elegant and fresh, the hostess was warm and welcoming, and the iced welcome watermelon was delivered to the room, which reduced the heat by half. Each room is like an independent courtyard, with private space, and there is a large terrace on the second floor where you can dry clothes. The hostess's service is in place. We went to Universal Studios in the afternoon, and the car picked us up and dropped us off, and we were available at any time. Universal Studios is very large, and the children didn't play enough. I will come again next time and stay at your house.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel has a nice concept or safari theme but somewhat under delivered. The pictures were nice but I think these are old pictures as it definitely needs upkeep or we think due for renovation and cleanliness of the surrounding needs more manpower. Pool is questionable and not inviting. Plus side: Very close to the great wall you can literally walk about 1km away to the gate. And the nearby grocery is a cheap way to buy local gifts to bring home. However you are far from the main Beijing City as in more than 1 hour by taxi and 2 hours if you get caught in the rush hour of beijing cost which cost about US$20 one way. The room is clean, big and decent for the price but really needs repair and I really question the security of the door as it was no secondary lock. The hot water is plenty, aircon is nice, internet is ok, soap is great. Service: They are family run I think 3 or 4 people, they try to accommodate but unlike other hotels in China, they don't try to utilize tech to translate. I understand they are kinda old. They don't automatically make up the room even though we stayed for 3 nights. so our garbage filed up. But we are ok with it. They were waiting even though we arrived at 2am which we appreciated. And the iced coffee is nice. Bad: Food maybe it is not our preferred taste. It is definitely not a buffet and we only eat once. You have alternative restaurants across the street or in the Great Wall commercial area but it is expensive. So will we recommend it, maybe. Yes, if you want a quiet place to unwind and want to explore the great wall for more than a day. no, if you want to explore beijing, it is far from the city and conscious of cleanliness and upkeep.

DDivine SoulWonderful Stay at Beijing Champs-Elysees Hotel – Perfect for a Special Celebration! I had an amazing 6-day stay at the Beijing Champs-Elysees Hotel, and it was the perfect place to celebrate my son’s second birthday! The hotel is conveniently located near the Panjiayuan Shilihe Subway Station, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms were spacious, modern, and comfortable, offering excellent value for money. It truly felt like a home away from home. What made our stay even more memorable was the exceptional service provided by the front desk staff—Chi Chi, Chi Linfeng, and Henguan. They were all incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. A big thank you to Chi Linfeng for his assistance in booking tours to the Temple of Heaven and the Great Wall of China, which were highlights of our trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion. The hotel’s attention to detail and the wonderful service from the team made my son’s birthday even more memorable. I highly recommend the Beijing Champs-Elysees Hotel for anyone visiting the city—it’s a fantastic choice for families and travelers alike.

TthousandmilesNot worth the price and disappointing - I booked this place after looking at the images on the website, they looked very convincing. So I booked it for me and my wife to spend a relaxing day looking at the peaceful mountains and forest. However those pictures were quite misleading. The hotel is a compound of lackluster buildings build to a mountain side right next to the road. The view is nothing like in the website photos but quite mediocre. The room was quite good and modern. Which was the only plus point. Also the smart toilet and bathroom with the bathtub was nice, but it was evident the hotel staff needs to learn more about housekeeping. It seems like they were penny pinching. The bedsheets had holes in them, no glasses to drink water, only two water bottles and only two packs of coffee. Very very disappointing for the price I paid for one night. Furthermore although it says 24 hours concierge service, after 9 pm they stop responding to messages on wechat. I asked in Chinese to send some water bottles and glasses but they didn't respond. Very unprofessional. The breakfast was also pretty basic. Not even fresh juice, just a typical Chinese breakfast you will find in any low budget hotel. The swimming pool was so so and dirty. Other amenities were for kids, so I can't comment on those. Overall the hotel is very mediocre and not worth the money they are charging per night. I won't recommend this place to anyone as there are better places around this area for lesser price.

TThe Hiumawan FamilyThe room was very clean and spacious, and exactly as pictured. Complete towels, comfortable mattress, and excellent service. You can borrow cooking utensils and a washing machine. The location is 500 meters from the train station and about 300 meters from the bus station. It's about 1 km from a major mall. It's a bit far from the city center. Thank you
