Facilities: very complete, good projection, simple and stylish room decoration style, very comfortable to look at. Hygienic: clean and tidy, the bedding is clean and comfortable Environment: Surrounded by mountains and rivers, although on the side of the road, sleeping is particularly quiet and not noisy at all. Service: The boss's service is very good, free pick-up and drop-off scenic spot to change to station, free to the town, enthusiastically explain the Huangshan tour route and make suggestions, under the boss's suggestion, we successfully staggered the scenic spot, thank you very much. In addition, the noodles for breakfast are very delicious 😄

 I flew back to China with my cat from other countries and just found this homestay. They can accept the pet's package pick-up and drop-off. The driver is very friendly and patient. Because I have to do pet documents to connect with the customs, it is an hour and a half late. The driver has been waiting for me without complaints. They have a very good attitude from beginning to end, and the drop-off is very punctual. The environment is particularly quiet and private. My kitten relaxed soon after entering.  Even the feet are blooming.  Free breakfast is provided in the morning, and breakfast looks very nutritious like a moon meal. There are many plants in the environment, and the single-family accommodation is particularly comfortable.  There is also a separate yard in the room! The location is very good 15 minutes away, it is very convenient to eat with ** takeaway o(^▽^)o

A lovely opportunity to experience Chinese hospitality. I stayed with my cat and we felt very welcome. The owner is very attentive and looks well after his guests. It is good to know that the reception is in the 3rd floor. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. A quiet area and house, just perfect if you need a good rest or travel with an anxious pet.

My family and I (5 of us) recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming homestay in Hongcun for two days and one night, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The building, steeped in history at 400 years old, is located relatively close to the West entrance, making access a breeze. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and well-kept. Although I initially booked three specific rooms, they were unavailable due to renovation. However, I was provided with three other rooms that turned out to be more spacious, which was a delightful surprise. The lobby felt incredibly welcoming, with a cozy living-room-style atmosphere. There’s a lovely café to the left and a souvenir shop to the right, adding a nice touch of convenience and charm as you walk toward the living area. Wan Jie (elder sister Wan), the host, was truly hospitable and attentive. Her warmth shone through from our first phone call, which she answered cheerfully while helping arrange our pickup, as cars aren’t allowed into Hongcun, a UNESCO Heritage Site. One of the highlights of this homestay was the restaurant nestled in a ”secret” garden—a serene and picturesque spot where my family and I could have happily spent more time. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, adding to the overall experience. Though it was too cool to use during my visit, the homestay also features a pool that would be perfect for summer days. At the end of our stay, Wan Jie went above and beyond by accompanying us to the village exit to wait for our driver, ensuring everything went smoothly before saying her goodbyes. It’s rare to experience such personalized hospitality, and it made a memorable impression on us. Based on my positive experience, I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Hongcun. It’s a unique blend of history, comfort, and genuine hospitality that truly enhances the visit.

Staff are super friendly and go out of their way to help you. The location is slightly difficult to find (you’ll need to walk through a random building hallway in order to find the hotel entrance). If you message the hotel in advance they will come out and help lead the way. Convenient location for restaurants and beautifully designed garden.

The landlord is very enthusiastic and patiently answered my questions. The room is clean and tidy, and the decoration style is what I like. The landlord is very considerate and put some books for guests to read when they are bored. This is something I rarely encounter when staying in a B&B outside. Thumbs up👍

it was an amazing stay! location: very near all the scenic attractions (huangshan mountain, nine dragon waterfall, emerald valley etc.), and they kindly drove us to and fro these attraction without additional charge! we booked a driver to and fro huangshan north station through the homestay owner and it was ¥440 two-ways for a 7-seater car comfortable for 4 passengers and 4 big luggages! cleanliness & quality of room: everything was really new and aesthetic! (they just opened last august) high tech furnitures and quality of the stay was just great! beautiful scenery right outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, with automatic blackout curtains too. the room was spacious for 4 people and we enjoyed the projector and space to chill. facilities: free laundry machine and dryer at the rooftop. breakfast was provided & all-day dining available like a restaurant at the homestay itself! service: the homestay is run by a very friendly family! they helped us book tickets for the attractions (some at discounted prices) too! highly recommended especially if you can speak some chinese! they also kindly brought us to a nearby camping ground run by another homestay when we said we wanted to have barbecued skewers!

The stay at Hongcun Zuoxian Art Hotel was remarkable. Received a call from the host (小李管家) while on the way to confirm my arrival time and needs. She even helped me arrange a driver to pick us up from the Huangshan North train station at a reasonable cost. Driver (李师傅) was friendly and gave us lots of tips while visiting Huangshan and we ended up using his services throughout the 3 days we were there. When we arrived, 小李管家 was right at the hotel entrance waiting for my for us and checkin into our rooms was a breeze. Rooms were clean with all the amenities you will need for a comfortable stay. Most impressive was the hotel layout and design which was very artsy and minimalist for a place like Hongcun. It was simply amazing! Me and my family especially loved the lobby and the coziness especially in front of the fireplace during winter. Hotel Location was within walking distance (200m) to Hongcun Ancient village and around 40mins drive to Huangshan mountain and around 1.5hrs drive to the Huangshan North Station or Tunxi Ancient Street. Will definitely recommend this hotel to all our friends and relatives if they are planning to visit Huangshan one day!!!

As a group of foreigners, we had a remarkable stay at Kuanxinge. The property itself is an inviting, traditional Chinese homestay with comfortable rooms and communal spaces. With a dreamy backdrop of the Yellow Mountains, this is the ideal base from which to explore the surrounding area. The owners – who are extremely accommodating and kind – helped us to plan our entire trip based on their expert local knowledge; we went wild swimming, white-water rafting and hiking among the many activities that they recommended. The owners drove us to many of these places for free and even created an English-language playlist for the journeys we took together. At the property itself, we were invited to do a cook-your-own barbecue (featuring freshly prepared meat skewers and local beers) and enjoyed nights of karaoke with songs in both English and Chinese. The delicious home-cooked food is available to order 24/7, and reflects the culinary traditions of the region. We would strongly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting the area. It is extremely affordable, welcoming and a great break from the stresses of everyday life. Thank you for a great holiday!

The B&B is located at the southwest entrance of Tunxi Old Street. Although it is an old house, the room is relatively clean and quiet at night. The breakfast was upgraded for me. The front desk staff was very friendly and the proprietress was very enthusiastic. She answered all my questions and gave me 2 tickets to the Taoist holy land Qiyun Mountain for a total of 130 yuan. The key is that the price-performance ratio is very high. I will come again! Worth it!
