We had a PERFECT stay! Our room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The water park was an absolute blast! Ideal for preschoolers and elementary-aged kids, with a great layout that made it easy to supervise. The waterpark staff were super attentive. We were able to grab a pizza and Icees from the Hungry Moose snack shop, and we enjoyed dinner at the new restaurant, Moose & Maple, two nights in a row. We also had fun creating a custom mix of Jelly Belly jelly beans from the gift shop, and our kids loved the arcade (which did get a bit pricey). All the staff were friendly and helpful, and the property appeared clean and well-maintained. We can’t wait to go back!

The front desk and the bed were the best things about this hotel. 1) The paring lot was poorly maintained and snow was improperly removed. It was a hazard for your ankles. It would be easy to twist or strain your ankle going to the car. 2) The table was not receiving proper maintenance. The leg bolts were not tightened and the desk was rickety. 3) The end table drawers were not wiped out. One had dust and grime all over it. 4) There was medication from a previous patron on the floor. This could have been really problematic if we had a pet. 5) The towel rack was not mounted to the wall. It was laying on the bathroom floor. 6) The internet was horrible. a) They do not have enough band width for the size of the hotel. b) The service they have outsourced the internet too is not very responsive. It has been 48 hours and they still have not dispatched engineering to fix the problem. ( I got better service from the hot.el next door's wifi then this hotels wifi.) IFYOU NEED INTERNET AXCESS AVOID THIS HOTEL

I love coming here. There’s no way to really travel these days during the pandemic, and so this is a nice little home away from home. Very clean, nice staff, and they don’t bother you.

We stayed for five days at Hampton Inn & Suites Madison-West during the December holidays to be near family. The staff were friendly and helpful, always having coffee, tea and hot chocolate available adjacent to the front desk. The pool was very family friendly which we enjoyed with younger family members. Our room on the fifth floor was spacious and we enjoyed their good complimentary breakfast every day we were there. Several high school sports teams were staying there but it was quiet throughout the halls.. Highly recommend.

Although the room is not very big, it is very clean and the bed is very comfortable! The point is that the hotel provides a variety of family activities on weekends, which is very suitable for bringing a baby! The indoor pool is also great, the outdoor pool is currently not open. In addition, I also recommend the two restaurants in the hotel, the food is also good!

Good location, close to the school, 10 minutes walk to the Conservatory of Music. Also close to the city center and airport bus. Very welcoming front desk. Clean and sanitary, with gym and garage.

Hotel is in definite need of updating. Fitness center was horrible.

Very close to the airport, convenient, the hotel is very cost-effective, the room is clean, breakfast is good at the same price hotel I arrived at the airport at 12 o'clock in the evening. I waited for 40 minutes to see the shuttle bus of the hotel, called the hotel, and finally asked me to find another company's car at the airport. I took more than an hour to get on the hotel car.

During my recent stay at Journeyman, I was thoroughly impressed with the overall service, but I have to give special recognition to Jared, the valet. From the moment I arrived, Jared went above and beyond to make sure everything was seamless. Not only was he incredibly polite and welcoming, but he also handled my car with great care and efficiency, making sure it was always ready when I needed it. Each time I interacted with Jared, he was friendly and attentive, offering help with luggage and even providing great local recommendations. His attention to detail and genuine willingness to assist guests stood out as a highlight of my stay. Jared truly represents the kind of service that elevates a hotel experience, and I hope Journeyman recognizes the asset they have in him. Very old-school hotel to say the least, never been in a establishment like this where you had to open the door to get into the elevator. Old style hand phone in the hallways by the elevator just a very unique hotel. Didn’t get to enjoy much of the hotel saw some of the am like a bar and a small restaurant everything is very clean inside the lobby. People were friendly. The attendant at the front desk was very knowledgeable on directions on where to go. That was really nice. Took a lot of guess work out.

Superb staff, easy walking distance to the Symphony and comfortable accommodations--- what more could anyone ask for!!! This was the 3rd time in the last 10 months we have traveled to Milwaukee for a concert and this Hyatt location has served us very well each time. We will use them again.

The hotel location is not convenient and the surrounding environment is general; the hotel parking lot is large and hotel guests are free! I recently traveled to Milwaukee for quick business trip. After a long day of travel and meetings, the room was clean and comfortable. The shower was amazing. At the end of night 2, I came back to a very clean room. Unfortunately, the housekeeping staff disposed of all of my receipts, making my expense reporting difficult. I called the front desk to see if they could help, and boy am I glad Dhmitriana answered. She went above and beyond, calling the restaurant I had dined at the night prior and was able to get a new copy of my receipt. She was even willing to dig through the garbage to look for them. I will be staying here on future business trips. If you see Dhmitriana at the front desk, just know you are in EXCELLENT hands.

Positives: the proximity to places and things to do downtown, the free shuttle to nearby places, parking and breakfast included in the rate. Negatives: 1.) The lack of cleanliness in the hotel: the room had dirt, crumbs and other small things (even a pill of some sort!) that hadn't been swept/vacuumed up on the floor, there was sticky jam on the wall in one spot that hadn't been wiped up. The room didn't smell fresh or clean either. In the hotel hallway on our floor, there were a bunch of Goldfish crackers crushed on the floor and not vacuumed up for a whole day. 2.) The constant, disgusting smell of smoke and ********* in the hotel hallways (this is supposed to be a non-smoking hotel!) that made the air very stuffy, stinky and hard to breathe and made our clothes smell. 3.) The finishings in the room were lacking: there was a door coat hook and handle missing, there were paint touch ups all over certain walls in the room that were not the same color as the rest of the wall 4.) Lack of power outlets to charge phones and other electronic devices: there were very few power outlets available and none in convenient places like on, next to or anywhere near the nightstand and bed so that we could keep our phones next to the bed. 5.) The bed pillows were small and more like flimsy couch throw pillows than regular-size bed pillows. The were thin, unsupportive and made for a very uncomfortable night where I got little sleep due to the uncomfortable pillows and stuffy, smoky air in the hotel room and hallways.

Good hotel! Clean, spacious rooms with comfortable beds and fresh repair. The room has everything for convenience. Antonio staff was friendly and friendly. Breakfast, free parking and fast Wi-Fi became a pleasant bonus. I definitely recommend!

We prepaid for a room for two nights to visit our daughter at UW. I only chose this cinderblock hole because our prefered hotels were booked by people attending the home game. Our last visit, the tub and toilet were broken, but we booked late and were stuck. When I arrived, a smoker sat in front of the no-smoking sign by the lobby doors. The clerk rudely informed me that it was shift change.”I'm counting money. You can't be here, sir. Back off and sit in that corner.” Since my family had to use the bathroom and didn't want to wait, I took them to a nearby gas station. When I returned, the clerk refused me admittance, claiming I had been coughing and sneezing non-stop, and would contaminate the place. (I blew my nose once upon entry due to the heavy cigarette smoke by the door, and she sprayed disinfectant in the air on her side of the glass partition.) The insulting manager backed her despite the fact that I exhibited no symptoms during the entire discussion. I had to spend 1.5 hours on the phone to get my money back (in a couple weeks) WHEN THEY BREACHED THE CONTRACT. Motel 6 corporate refused to migrate my reservation to the other hotel of the same name in the city. By then, finding a decent hotel for under twice the price was impossible. Instead, I drove 4.5 hours back home in the rain. I had never been treated this shabbily in any hotel. Don't risk the abuse for a place this bad.

From booking the room through the hospital, to receiving confirmation, checking in, and my experience over 3 nights (not consecutive) The breakfast was awesome. Room very comfortable and well maintained. Quiet and private. Breakfast was OUTSTANDING, and shuttle service was such a plus and so appreciated! Great staff, Excellent Reataurant and Staff. Will be back!

I recently attended a conference held at the Madison Concourse Hotel & Governor's Club and stayed three nights at the property. Shuttle bus driver Brian picked my co-worker and me up at the airport and was so kind and friendly! His recommendations for great food and sights in Madison were spot on and much appreciated. We received a warm welcome when we arrived and enjoyed a wonderful soup/salad bar/dessert lunch at CIRC. My room was clean and spacious. I loved the walk-in shower and makeup vanity space with chair in the bathroom, which was clean and stocked with plenty of towels. My favorite part of my stay was the comfortable bed and bedding, especially those wonderful pillows! I haven't slept that well in ages. The hotel is conveniently located to the Square with plenty of restaurants and entertainment within walking distance, making it a perfect conference site. I highly recommend the Madison Concourse Hotel & Governor's Club and hope to return soon with my family for vacation!

The service was great and the room was very clean and nice. Refrigerator, microwave, tv, and hair dryer all in great working condition and clean. The morning breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of hot and cold foods. I am really glad I found this place. I didn't use the pool but saw several families using it and it looked great too.

In the past we've stayed at other hotel by the capital, but since we were going to a concert we decided to try the new Moxy Madison. It was PERFECT! I am so glad we tried it since it'll be our new #1 hotel in Madison every time. The rooms were nice. I loved how a 2Q bedroom is separated by the bathroom in the middle, a little more privacy between the 2 beds. The bar/lobby area were nice. The outdoor area is nice. Everything was clean and fresh. It's so close to the concert field and the theater, and actually walkable from downtown State St too (we'd planned to Uber back from State Street but didn't even need to since it was nice outside and only took 15 min walk.) The very best part of our stay was the front desk weekend (manager?) Ashley! She was there at check in and at check out too. She was hustling and making sure every person felt important and had speedy service. I was so impressed with how she was keeping everyone satisfied and the lines moving, both during busy Friday night checkins AND even busier Saturday morning checkouts. She was patient when some lady was trying to cause a scene over some question on her bill and diffused the situation smoothly. And though I'd like to also give a small shout out to the nice valets who actually RAN to get your car as well as the speedy Izzy behind the breakfast bar area too... it was truly their leader Ashley who made us somehow feel like her close personal friends she would happy to welcome back next time. Ashley, we will be back. You gave us a 10 outta 10 stay! :)

This hotel swooped in to save our evening when another nearby hotel ”lost” our reservation. We were thankful to be welcomed with a free upgrade and in time to grab a beer from the snack area. The room was basic, but very clean and extremely quiet. We had to skip the made-to-order breakfast, but were pleasantly surprised by the choices. We will definitely make this location one of our first choices when we are traveling to Madison again.

King bed room. The room is much smaller than the Hilton City Center in the next few days. The facilities in public places are also lower. Fortunately, there are some business trips.
