"We really like the corner room with city view that we got. It was clean, smell good, the windows are clean, able to see the city. The only thing that bothered us a little is the fact that the rooms are not soundproofed. We could literally hear anything coming out of other rooms lol. The staff at the reception were nice and welcoming. The rooftop bar was cool and beautiful, the price is super reasonable - seemed to be short staffed though. The organization of the place wasn't great at all and the guy at the entrance checking ID wasn't nice, he looks like he doesn't want to be there. But overall, the hotel, the bar and most of the staff were really nice and welcoming :)))"

"I am writing to formally express my serious concern and disappointment regarding the handling of my personal belongings left in the refrigerator during my recent stay at your hotel. We stayed at Hilton Portland Downtown from December 23 to December 24, occupying Rooms 416 and 417. Upon checkout, a full box of prescription medications was accidentally left inside the refrigerator in one of the rooms. I want to be very clear about the nature of these items: The box was full and intact It contained injectable prescription medications, clearly medical in nature The medications were stored inside the refrigerator, not left out in the room These items were obviously not trash and are easy to identify as medical supplies Given these facts, I find it extremely concerning and unacceptable that: The items were apparently discarded or mishandled, and No attempt was made to contact me to confirm whether these medically critical items should be kept. At a minimum, I would expect hotel staff to recognize that refrigerated injectable medications are not garbage, and that such items require verification with the guest before disposal. The failure to do so reflects a serious lack of care and responsibility, especially considering the medical importance of these medications. These medications are essential for managing chronic health conditions, and their loss has caused significant distress and inconvenience. This situation could and should have been avoided with a simple phone call."

"We stayed for our anniversary but won’t be staying again. The staff were very nice and the room was fine itself but the bed was terrible and the room was incredibly noisy!! My husband is a very patient man, almost too patient at times I think and this constant walking upstairs for hours on end made him soo mad it actually had me laughing. We could not believe how loud it was with the people upstairs walking back and forth until at least 2am “not even kidding” when we finally managed to pass out from sheer exhaustion. We woke up at 4 with low back pain from the hard bed and both decided to leave because it wasn’t worth trying to fall back asleep on that mattress and then having to listen to the people upstairs who would be walking back and forth again we figured soon. What was driving us crazy was what in the world could they have been doing for hours on end walking around in that small room?? It was so loud with each step and we could hear them talking and walking and water then walking..... ahhhh we were able to find the humor in it on the drive home with our seat warmers on for our back pain and strong coffees for the sleep deprivation, but we won’t be making a return trip. Lovely staff and nice location though. ;)"

The Hoxton Portland is a charming, design forward, boutique hotel located in the heart of Portland. We are minutes away from the Rose City premier attractions and feature some of the most popular and well regarded restaurants in the city onsite. Enjoy tacos in our rooftop bar, Tope, or sneak away for a cocktail in our speakeasy. The hotel is known as a gathering place throughout the community and regularly features live music, run clubs, and other activations.

"The hotel is in downtown and does not have its own parking lot, but there is public parking downstairs next to the Citroen gas station opposite, about 35 knives a night. 5 minutes walk from the hotel, turn a corner at a crossroads. The room is small, one bed, two bedside tables, plus a bathroom, very compact. The hand sanitizer in the bathroom smells good. The front desk service is good, because the sleep is shallow, negotiate whether you can change the room behind the road, and you are also happy to help. There is a Mexican dish 10 minutes walk from the hotel, Lechon, it is recommended. Recommended in the mushroom, grilled Ribs is not bad."

"The hotel was really nice overall, the front desk was really helpful and accommodating, the door man was  polite, and the value was there, especially if you’re doing things downtown in the Pearl District. My only complaint was the bathroom; there wasn’t a way to close the bathroom’s pocket door. Thankfully, being tall, I could reach above the door to pull the pocket door out, but that’s going to be problematic if you’re a shorter person."

KKirus24Location is fine, but there are a lot of homeless people near hotel. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was really really good. The bad thing is that there is no free parking (they offer $59 valet parking which is super expensive). If you’re lucky you will find some free overnight parking spots near hotel (it’s free from 7pm to 8am). So I would recommend this hotel if you’re traveling without car.

GGuest UserAfter entering our extremely small room, which I found out was called a standard queen I immediately noticed long hairs in the shower and on the bathroom floor, so obviously the bathroom wasn’t clean very well the baseboards, the floor, and just the overall appearance of the walls in the bathroom and in the room are just pretty beat up and well worn. The door knob on the outside of our hotel room was falling off and the TV did not work. When we came back to our room a few hours later the TV was indeed fixed. However, the brightness was on the lowest setting and I thought I could simply adjust it from the remote, however There was no settings that were accessible from the remote to alter the brightness of the picture so no tv that night as I didn’t want someone coming up to our hotel room at 10 PM. Just the overall feeling of the hotel room is very grungy. We were kept awake until midnight when I couldn’t take the noise coming from the neighbors and had to get up, get dressed, go pound on their door and ask them to keep it down. The noise and the slamming of doors all throughout the night is completely unbearable and there’s no chance of sleeping more than 1 to 2 hours at a time before being awakened by slamming doors or people talking so loudly in the hallways. The walls are paper, thin. The hotel lobby, where you can sit and have a drink or a meal is kept absolutely frigid. We just strongly believe for the price there are so many better options of a cleaner, quieter much better maintained hotel. It also appears that most of the servers at the Lobby bar or rooftop bar are so young and inexperienced  and ask the silliest questions and look so perplexed at the questions that they are asked that it lacks such professionalism. While none of them were rude, they were certainly inexperienced. This was our second time staying there thinking that a second visit would provide different results when in actuality the second visit was worse than the first. So that being said, I could not give this hotel a good review at all.

BBrandy LynnAre staying was very nice. The room was nice and clean and the bed was really comfortable. So when we got to the Ramada the only problem that we had was is that they didn't bother to tell us and it wasn't posted in the website that they charged a $75 deposit fee that is refundable that time that you leave. And then the other problem was more so a bigger deal so to say because me and my husband were only 10 minutes late cute breakfast they said and at that time it was 9:10 a.m. whenever their hours are posted breakfast hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 9:30am . So the lady working told us that we were too late for breakfast and toast that we missed it and there's nothing that she could do about it to help us. Keep in mind that she was cleaning up all the leftover breakfasts like the sausage and bagels and everything she put it all on the plate and then she acted like she took it to the kitchen just to watch her take the whole plate of leftover breakfast food and she threw it in the damn trash can. Now I don't understand why we can have had at least a leftover food because their hours for the breakfast were marked wrong and we were not late for breakfast as posted yet they still did not give us any thing.. now I'm pretty sure that you know there was no reason for her to be rude like that to guess who paid $80.00 for 1 night and then not even get any breakfast at all. When I saw her put the foods in the trash can after telling us we couldn't have any breakfast made me feel like I never want to stay there again because I paid $80 for one night and I didn't even get the breakfast I paid for it in my hotel stay.

GGuest User. The hotel left a mixed impression. Despite the excellent reviews and not being the cheapest option, we were overall disappointed. Starting with the positives: A very convenient location in a pleasant, green, and quiet neighborhood not far from downtown. There are plenty of great cafés, small shops, restaurants, and wine bars nearby. Polite and friendly staff at the front desk. Interesting room design. Spacious parking available for hotel guests. Large rooms. Now the downsides: Thin walls and creaky floors made it very difficult to sleep. The soundproofing is basically nonexistent. The young couple staying in the next room was clearly enjoying their time together, which unfortunately meant a very uncomfortable experience for us. In addition, the refrigerator in the room was extremely noisy — not only did it hum loudly when running, but it also made constant knocking sounds. The breakfast was exceptionally poor. The only “hot” items seemed to be the coffee and a dishwasher, which, oddly enough, was placed right in the middle of the breakfast area. There were two small TVs in the room, both positioned very inconveniently for viewing, and neither had streaming services available. The housekeeping staff was intrusive — within a 20-minute period, they knocked on the door three times (and even tried to open it once), apparently trying to hurry us out, even though it was still before checkout time.

GGuest UserPros: Spacious and clean rooms. Conveniently located just off the highway but far enough to avoid most traffic noise on 97.. The breakfast was enjoyable, featuring scrambled eggs, potatoes, and a self-make waffle station. Cons: Severe, disruptive room noise. Throughout the entire night, an intermittent, guttural, rattling wheeze—sounding exactly like a struggling car engine—kept us awake. What made this particularly frustrating was the lack of proactive management. I submitted a quiet-room request upon booking (which went unanswered) and reiterated it at check-in. Around midnight, unable to bear the noise, we asked for help and a friendly staff member kindly provided us with extra earplugs, but they weren't enough to block it out. When we reported the issue to a third staff member during checkout, she gave an emotionless response, said she would ”take a note,” and immediately walked away. The hotel was not at full occupancy; the upper floor was completely dark, and the parking lot was less than half full at both 10 PM (check-in) and 8 AM. We travel extensively—both globally and locally in places like Bend—and have never encountered this. Had the hotel simply given me a heads-up or accommodated my request, I could have brought my industrial-strength earplugs from home. A little communication at no extra cost goes a long way.

TTiffany GlassThe hotel is set up very open and not all cramped together it actually spans across 4 buildings in one area of town. The front desk guy was very helpful and got me checked in to my room way early at about 9am and the room was phenomenal!! Definitely worth it to get the suite with the jacuzzi and balcony. Probably the nicest executive suite I have stayed in and I will be extending my stay and returning another time too. On my top 10 list of best hotels and service

Nnicole.wants.adventureI arrived to quite late to my booking. The front desk staff was courteous and even offered me a cookie when I checked in. My room was clean and orderly. There were a few stains in the carpet, but nothing too bad. The shower was amazing and had two shower head. There were plenty of outlets through out the room for all of my devices including next to the beds. The room also had a little couch coffee table, microwave, and mini fridge which was super nice. They did charge for the bottled water in the room though. I paid extra when I booked my room to have breakfast included, the breakfast was great. Bacon, Sausage, Potatoes, Eggs, and Waffles. They also had bagels and some items in the salad bar area but I didnt mess with any of that. Overall it was a pleasant stay. My only complaint would be related to the parking. There wasnt very many parking spots to begin with and the spots were super small. It made getting in and out of my car very difficult when parked. The hotel was super easy to find and was right off of I-5. However, I will warn you that the entrance is tucked around on the backside.

GGuest UserThe Siletz Bay Beachfront Hotel has an excellent location. The rooms are good and are reasonably clean. The hotel is aging somewhat gracefully but still has no air conditioning in the rooms. The service however is not friendly to fishermen staying there to fish for the outstanding Fall run of Pacific Salmon in the Siletz River. Specifically, the rigid office hours of 7 am to 10 pm are all but useless for fishermen. In 3 years of staying there I have yet to be able to take advantage of their free breakfast. Also, there is no freezer on site that is usable for fishermen. I was specifically denied access to a freezer for my fish fillets that is there (behind a locked door) for what are (IMHO) very bogus reasons. I also had issues with an extremely noisy ventilation system coming from somewhere other than my bathroom (reported after my first night but never fixed during my 7 nights there), hot water that would run out halfway through my shower, and a loss of TV during my last 2 days there. For all these reasons I will be looking to stay elsewhere when I return to Lincoln City to fish next Fall.
