One of the best - if not THE best - hotel experience/s we ever had!!! ❤️
This small and cute hotel is something like a jewel! The one staff we met was adorable and so kind and caring that we felt right at home and even felt sorry that after only one night we had to leave for our next spot to visit! The hotel is gorgeous, the service impeccable, the breakfast!!! OMG!!! Just look at the pictures and you'll know what I mean! The breakfast was a piece of art made with love 💕
But, originally, the hotel is called Ephesus Hotel and Art Gallery, because all the sculptures you can see on the pictures were made by the owner - it vibes so well with the whole Ephesus area and it's beautiful ancient buildings, ruins, ...
We got a nice upgrade to a bigger room that we could directly leave through a door to the inner courtyard where breakfast was served - super convenient! The courtyard was so peaceful that we felt like hearing ancient whispers coming from all around us... So much history!!! So much to see and having this wonderful hotel as the base to discover from was the best choice we could make! No need to mention that the room was simple but very nice and clean, comfy and big bed, nice lighting, spacey bathroom with very modern standard. Aircon as well, but we preferred to use the big fan on the ceiling instead ... There was a little fridge in the room and the beverages inside were free to take, so we were happy about the water after a hot and sunny day ... ☀️ Also, whenever we were on the way in or out, we were offered coffee, tea, water, juice, fruits ... you can see the fruit plate that we happily enjoyed as a mid-day snack ...
If you ever visit Selçuk and Ephesus Ancient Town - and you should because it's ABSOLUTELY AMAZING - you should definitely book one, or even better two or three days at Ephesus Hotel and Art Gallery!!!
Btw, it's also in easily walkable distance to the Ephesus Archeological Museum, the İsa Bey Mosque, St. Jean Church, the Ayasuluk Citadel, ...
Another great plus was the fact that we could park the car right in front of the hotel.
Last but not least, we received a beautiful little gift from the hotel employee who was taking care of us so kindly - she had sculptured the little elephant that you can see on the last picture by herself! A very special gift for us! 🎁 ❤️

Mark.IExcellent hotel right in the heart of Izmir. A significant feature of this hotel is its private grounds, which is quite rare for a city hotel. The rooms are large and spacious, with all amenities, and even include a bathtub in addition to the shower cabin. Breakfasts are delicious and varied, and there's also a large, warm swimming pool. On the downside, prices at the hotel's bars and restaurants are quite high (even for a 5-star category), and they charge a €100 per day deposit upon check-in (something to be aware of). If you pay the deposit in cash, the unused portion is returned. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this hotel; everything is excellent and high-quality.

Anonymous UserOverall a beautiful property. The rooms are lovely, breakfast is great and the daily housekeeping service is very good.
There was one gentleman who was really very nice and helped us figure out the bus to the airport. He even drove us to the bus stop to show us where it was. It was just a few minutes away but really nice of him.
Some cons and things to take note of:
1. Most staff DO NOT speak English. They use google translate which is effective for the most part, but tough if you need to have a discussion.
2. The hotel page mentions airport drop of free. The hotel claims it’s not included and impossible to have a discussion so couldn’t do much. Not sure if this is a trip.com issue or a hotel issue.
3. Breakfast really is very good. But it’s a fixed Turkish breakfast so if you have dietaries this may be tough. The staff would casually ask “tea, coffee, juice?” as though it was all included and then when we were checking out we get a bill of £40 for a few coffees. Seems only the tea was included. When we told them no one informed us if it was chargeable, all they did was offer us 2 coffees in the morning to compensate. Really not okay.
4. LOUD MUSIC. There is music playing loudly till 1am. The first 2 nights it was a bit quieter and shut off by 12. But the last night it went on till 1am. When we complained around 12 they said oh this is normal but now since some guests have complained we’ll reduce the volume. Really didn’t make much of a difference. Last night there, completely spoilt the lovely few days we had there.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The hotel is very nice, the rooms and bathrooms were very clean, and the location is perfect.
But honestly, the best part of the hotel was the staff. Everyone was so nice, welcoming, and helpful, and they always had a smile on their face. The receptionists were especially sweet and made us feel very welcome.
We also had a car, and they have free valet parking, which was such a great convenience. They would take the car to park it and bring it back whenever we needed it, completely free of charge.
Honestly, the service and the staff are what made our stay so nice. Everyone was so kind and friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

R.ZhangLocation: The location of the hotel is really good. It is in the center of Alacati, easy access to the attractions around. The hotel has the only Michelin guide restaurant in the town, they have live music in the evening, It can be heard in the room. But do not be afraid, the music is really chill. Alacati is really lively at night, you can find a lot of bars and restaurants with live music. But you do not need to be afraid to be bothered in the hotel, the loud music did not reach to our room at least. We really enjoyed to take a walk in the city center after diner, doing so every night during our stay. Enjoying the lively city, walking around then back to hotel to chill afterwards.
Cleanliness: The room is really clean and the staff is really friendly.
Services: We have breakfast included, the buffet option is relatively limited comparing to other hotels we had. BUT it has freshly cooked turkish beef bacon with Turkish Fried Bread (Pisi) served to your table with a list of other things, vegetable, cheese, butter, jams, olives etc. Start a lovely day with fresh made traditional Turkish breakfast, it was great.
Facilities: The pool is not really big, but good for relaxing. Next to the pool there are benches and a lime tree. You can chose to stay under the sun or under the shadow. We really love the hotel building itself, it looks great, really beautiful building and the decoration in the hotel also looks lovely.

Anonymous UserThe hotel is beautiful and well-located, and the beach is great. However, the daily cleaning really leaves a lot to be desired. They only make the beds and change the towels. I felt like the room was hardly ever vacuumed, and I left dirty glasses that stayed in the same spot. At breakfast, they only clear plates from the table at the end of the meal unless you specifically ask them to.
The staff are kind and friendly, but many don't speak any language other than Turkish, which makes communication difficult.
Overall, it's a positive review, but with some shortcomings that are unacceptable for a 5-star hotel.

VerunHad a wonderful stay at the Marriott in July 202! 😊 The room was good, and the staff was VERY attentive. The rooftop pool is a very pleasant place to spend time – not too many people. The location is wonderful, right on the promenade, which is convenient for walks. The promenade is bustling 24/7, with fishermen catching fish 😁. I really liked the pool in the spa, the water was super nice 😍. For breakfast, there was a good selection from the menu – various egg dishes and pancakes. All in all, the Marriott, as always, did not disappoint!

Positive Points:
1. The hotel is located in the best central area of Alaçatı.
2. There are plenty of parking spots just a few steps away from the hotel.
3. Free breakfast is provided.
4. The hotel is clean.
5. The view and interior design of the hotel are very beautiful and appealing.
Negative Points:
1. Consider increasing the variety of the breakfast buffet and offering coffee as well. The breakfast selection, especially the hot menu, is limited.
2. Since the airport is quite far from the hotel (1.5 hours), there is no transfer service, or the cost is quite high. I suggest subsidizing part of the transfer cost for your guests.
3. There is no heated pool. It would be great to have warm water in the pool during the colder seasons.
4. The outdoor seating area by the pool is unusable during the colder months. I suggest adding heating equipment near the tables and chairs by the pool.
5. No special slippers are provided in the bathroom and toilet. The available foam slippers are not suitable for wet areas and get soaked.
6. There is no welcome drink or anything similar. I suggest offering a welcome drink to guests.
all in all I will choose it again.

Guest UserI stayed here for a short trip and found the hotel clean, comfortable, and well located for exploring Rotorua. Check-in was smooth and staff were helpful during my stay. The room was quiet and had everything needed for a short visit. Overall, it was a convenient base for sightseeing and I would consider staying again for another trip.
