The best hotel in the city center, no other choice! The price is quite expensive, but the location is good!

Nice and clean hotel, newly refurbished. Close to the railway station, close to the town centre. Only two little notes - no lift, a bit too many stairs, especialy for disabled person.and the tiwels look a bit too old for the completely new inferior. Despite these our stay was pleasant and comfortable.

I do not recommend the Bristol Hotel in Kosice. The electrical outlets in my room were not well positioned and so to turn off the light I had to get out of bed. I found my bathroom not very clean on the second day. The radiators are kept off and it is up to me to turn them on by turning the knob and without knowing it I slept cold the first night. Every day the cleaner turns them off and then it is up to me to turn them on again by turning the knobs. On the internet I had seen that checkout was scheduled for 12:00 am, but at 10:30 am they called me in my room telling me that if I wanted to stay in the room until 12:00 am I would have to pay another 20 euros. I had to accept because I was not ready, I checked out at 11:20 am and I did not find this extra payment a very elegant gesture on their part. Finally, the breakfast is just decent, but nothing more. In Italy it would be classified as a 3 star.

I had to cancel my travel plans for this year's 2023 Kosice Peace Marathon so I wasn't actually a guest at the Kongress Roca Hotel. I had booked my hotel reservation via a WISE wire transfer. It was my first time doing a wire transfer and it took a couple of tries to get the correct Swift/IBAN number. Gabriela made the wire transfer booking & refund process seamless. I received the refund promptly in my bank account within two days. I hope to visit Kosice and the Kongress Roca Hotel in the future.

This hotel is located on the main street, Hlavna ulica, where many of the main sites are located, so your close to the sites and so many restaurants and shops. The room was a little on the small size but just right for someone travelling alone and the furnishings were very nice, all around the hotel. The gentleman I dealt with at the front desk was ever so helpful and friendly and spoke English very well. There was a stocked mini fridge and prices were reasonable. Bathroom was of good size and spotless. If you walk down that main st, past the Cathedral, you'll come to a square where there is a memorial to Russian soldiers who died there in WW2. To the left is a very large 3 story mall. On the near side is a bus stop where many busses stop including #23 to the airport. At the airport, there is a nice little aviation museum for those interested. One word of warning about the restaurants in Kosice. I found they have some long wait times for a meal. One place told me it would be 1 1/2 hours to get a meal, so ask first. The breakfast at the hotel is good.It was great too that its price was included in the price of the room. Most I've been to, you have to pay extra. If by chance you are taking a train from Bratislava, try to get a reserved seat. Your probably best going to the Slovakian railroad site. It's about a 5 1/2 ride with numerous stops. An expres train runs on certain days that has fewer stops which I got but 3 times I had to move out of the seat I was in, not fun when your dealing with luggage in a 6 seat compartment. I was lucky that my roll away was sturdy enough that I could use it for a couple of hours I was sitting in the hallway.

Big hotel situated in centre of town, so everything was close. Hotel with rich amenities - restaurant, bar, wellness, fitness, childrens corner (babysitting), library,.... Parking available right in front of the hotel. Wifi was quite weak in hotel rooms, strong in restaurant. Rooms were quite small, but clean, tidy and modern, with basic equipment. We missed air conditioning, especially when the windows could not be opened. Wellness offeres plenty of options - various saunas, showers, cooling pool, relaxation beds, whirlpool. You can enjoy also massage. Buffet breakfast with a rich menu, I would appreciate more vegetables/fresh salads. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, especially because Spišská Nová Ves is one of the starting points for tourism in the Slovak Paradise and the hotel was a place where we could relax, eat and rest after our tourist trips.

I stayed here twice in march on business trips and absolutely love the place. It has magnificent views of the lake and very private balcony views. This hotel has to be one of my absolute favorites, with lovely staff and a 5 star restaurant on property. I look forward to returning with more time on my hand so I could take advantage of everything it has to offer.

Great hotel with really helpful staff. Room was very good. Private sauna and jacuzzi bath plus two huge rooms. Everything in the room that we needed for a weekend stay. Very warm also as temperature outside was starting to drop. Breakfast wasn't included but was excellent. Check-in was very quick and we even got our room early as in was not occupied the day before. Good location about 400m from main town area. No negatives at all.

A wonderful stay at this B&B near the center of Kosice! The location is perfect for exploring the city on foot, and the rooms are clean and cozy. The staff's hospitality is excellent, making you feel right at home. We needed an earlyer check in and they didn't esitate to help us.

Hotel is a great option for a stay on Košice. I have visited KE multiple times and this first time staying outside the city center. Hotel is very clean and room was excellent size with all modern in room amenities. Location although not in city center, is directly across from a very good shopping center and restaurants. Taxi to Košice Center is only 5mins / €7. Breakfast was very good, and staff very friendly.

Lage: Inmitten von Kosice, nahe der Altstadt Zimmer: Absolut sauber und moderne Ausstattung, sehr hoher Schlafkomfort, Dusche und Toilette getrennt und neuester Standard. Service: Kompetentes, aufmerksames Personal. Haben gegenseitig mit deutsch/slowakischen Kauderwelch gesprochen, das war lustig... Und wenn es harkte dann im fast professionellen Englisch. Köszönöm!!! Kommunikation: WLAN absolut sehr gute Bandbreite Poloha: V strede Košíc, v blízkosti starého mesta Izby: Absolútne čisté a moderné vybavenie, veľmi vysoký komfort spánku, sprcha a WC oddelené a najnovší štandard. Služba: Kompetentný, pozorný personál. Rozprávali sme sa spolu s nemeckým / slovensky Kauderwelchom, bolo to smiešne ... A ak to prešlo takmer profesionálnou angličtinou. Köszönöm !!! Lovely and reasonably priced. Reception staff was helpful explaining the city, transportation and accommodating our extra requests. The restaurant food was nice and the bar staff was EXCELLENT, had a bottle of local wine and they took the time to decant it and give us the full wine tasting experience. We stayed here for the race, they opened breakfast early for the runners (7am) and arranged a cab for us at 7:45. Be sure to book a cab in advamce as they are busy the morning of the race. In retrospect we could have gotten a cab a bit later, 8:15 or so, as it was very easy to get to the start of the race at 9am.

The hotel has an excellent location very close to old town. I arrived early and was able to get into my room straight away which was a massive bonus - I would have been happy just to leave my case. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly throughout my stay. There was an excellent varied breakfast which got me off to a very good start to the day. The hotel also has a spa with sauna, steam room and Jacquzzi to unwind in from 5pm which I used every day.

Great location - few minutes walk from train station, about 3 minutes walk to the center of Košice. The hotel is located on a calm side street, though. The staff were professional, kind and helpful. They gave us great advise on what to do, see and visit in the city during our stay. :) Spacious room with a big and comfortable bed. Sleeping area and living room were separated, which was great. The accommodation was clean and cozy. Better than expected! Hotel spa was beautiful but way too small. There were not enough deckchairs and seats in the relaxing area which made it a bit uncomfortable when there were more guests in the spa. We ended up just using the jacuzzi and went straight back to our room. We were told the spa can only be visited by guests over the age of 15 but in the end there were some kids in the spa each evening. It was therefore a bit noisy but we did not mind. We were pleasantly surprised by the welcome drinks :) The hotel restaurant is really beautiful, it's a winter garden with many plants, flowers and a fountain in the middle of the room. Fresh air, birds singing and quiet music playing in the background create an amazing calming atmosphere. The breakfast was also good, variable.

This hotel is the jewel in Kosice ,an ideal location right in the city center.I know Kosice very well and this hotel is my favorite.Good tastefully furnished rooms with all the amenities expected of a good quality hotel.The breakfast was nice,good taste,perfect breakfast environment.The staff are very very attentive and polite at all times ,eager to ensure your stay is better than a 5 star hotel. The Horse Inn also has a fantastic hair salon ,massage and speciality cosmetic center within the same premises. If you come to Kosice I highly recommend only to stay in this hotel,it’s not expensive,very comfy and right in the center of town. 10/10 from me.
