"Room 2209. Top floor King. TV has 4 Sky Channels with audio. Other channels have no audio. TV problems seem common as another guest was also complaining. Another customer had problems with the key card not allowing her to use the lift. Rooms are old and tired. It doesn't have a hotel vibe. It is more like student accomodation vibe. The extractor in the bathroom didn't work. The coffee machine is a nice addition. 2 capsules and small box of milk. Microwave was welcome, but it would appear some guests have been charged $1500 due to using it and setting off a fire alarm. It's time that the whole hotel had a refurbishmeb"

"The hotel is located right inside the airport, which is super convenient if you're just transiting through Wellington. The room facilities are comparable to a typical budget hotel in China. "This was a short stopover in Wellington to board the early morning ferry to Picton as the hotel location was perfect for the city and ferry.. However we were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the Movenpick. The rooms were clean and comfortable with all of the amenities you would expect and more. We were delighted with the complimentary chocolate buffet at 4pm most unexpected but delicious. The staff were also very helpful and friendly."

"The room had multiple areas of built up dust that hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, and the shower had some mould in the corner and lots of soap scum around the bottles. The silicone holes in the shower head were all cracked and so the water dribbled down. I could also smell the drain. The additional windows installed (appreciate the building is historical) didn’t shut tight, which is a big problem in a windy city. The wind was howling through the window gaps when they were fully shut. Assume they were done as cheaply as possible. I was also a few doors down from the staff room, so I heard very frequent door slamming in the mornings which woke me up as it shook my door frame. There’s no way I’d be paying for full price for this hotel, but for a 50% off deal it was fine. The location is unbeatable and the bed was really comfortable. The room was a good size too."

"The hotel is in the city center. If you have a car after booking with Ctrip, you will need to pay an additional 35 dollars for parking (from the same day to 2 pm the next day, it is not expensive. Parking in the city center is very expensive, about 6 dollars an hour, so the 35 dollars is still worth it. ), there are dedicated hotel parking spaces on the first floor of the parking lot opposite
, the room is not big, the water is big and very comfortable. It is located in the city center next to the bar. It is noisy at night, but it is acceptable to sleep late. However, the sound insulation of the room is too poor. There is a child in the next room who wants to sleep well early in the morning."

刘刘Hotel location is very good, in the center of Wellington, the parking lot is on the upper floor, to go up a steep slope, parking fee 15 NZ / day. The interior decoration is a bit antique and has a sense of history. The downside is that I arrived at the hotel on Christmas Eve, and the front desk was closed (should be at 7 pm), saying that I sent an email to me, but I didn't find it in fact. Still the cleaning guy, contacted me, opened the key box, and got the key.

MM_PorschaI stayed at Boulcott Suites for three nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent — plenty of eateries nearby (many Asian options), a New World supermarket just around the corner, and Cuba Street all within walking distance. For those driving, private parking is available at NZD 29 per night, though it does need to be booked in advance by calling ahead.
The room itself was well-equipped, with nearly everything listed on their website provided. Amenities included tea, coffee, hot chocolate, an infusion tea selection, a coffee machine, kettle, washing machine, clothing rack, clean towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and a hair dryer. There’s also a convenient kitchenette with a stove and full set of utilities if you’d like to prepare meals. Do note that some basics like a toothbrush, toothpaste, shower cap, and bottled water aren’t supplied. I just drank the tap water, which seemed perfectly fine.
On the downside, I felt the room was a little dusty, which took away slightly from the otherwise good presentation. I had also requested a baby cot during booking and was told it would be included, but it never arrived in the room. It wasn’t a big issue for me personally since the bed was large enough to co-sleep with my baby, but it’s worth mentioning for others who might rely on that service.
All in all, Boulcott Suites is a convenient and comfortable choice in the heart of Wellington, with great amenities and an ideal location. With a little more attention to detail on housekeeping and guest requests, it would be close to perfect.

CConstance_HuoLocation-wise, it's right by Wellington train station, making it a great choice if you're arriving by train or heading to London.
Facilities: They're quite old. The air conditioning was one of those large, vintage units I'd never seen before, and it was incredibly noisy, so I just turned it off. The room had a microwave and cutlery, and surprisingly, a mini-bar – which you usually don't find in hotels at this price point. However, there was a snag: no price list for the mini-bar. While I knew the bottled water in the fridge wouldn't be free, I was still surprised to be charged $7 upon checkout (when a similar bottle is around $2.50 at the supermarket).
Service: The downstairs restaurant has long operating hours. I was able to order a delicious burger after a late check-in, and grab a coffee and a pastry to go during an early checkout. Most of my positive impression comes from that restaurant.

ZZorpaReally conveniently located hotel and good sized room. Really lovely helpful, staff on reception. I had booked an interior room with no window so was pleasantly surprised to have a ceiling skylight. Unfortunately the surfaces and amenities (kettle, glasses, spoons) were covered in dust. I thought it might be a ventilation issue as the high window probably doesnt open, but when I ran my finger over the desk it was a thick layer so not sure it had been cleaned for a while. I was only staying one night so didn't bother complaining but did start wheezing in the night so wish I had said something. Easily fixed for future guests with proper dusting!

GGuest UserI rung ahead of time to check regarding parking and spoke to a friendly staff member by the name of Hunter who explained where entrance was and how to access car parking. We were impressed with size of the room and the facilities. Great location and didn't seem to hear much street noise. Room was nice and clean only thing noticeable was some scuff marks on walls and having a couch instead of 2 armchairs would have been perfect. Would highly recommend staying here, we had a great experience and commend Hunter on such great customer service
