"We stayed at The Langlands for my birthday and had a fantastic experience. The service was exceptional, and the rooms are modern, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. It felt like a true celebration. The only downside was the external car parking. We had to wait 30 minutes for our car to be brought around at check-out, which was a bit of a letdown for such a high-end stay. Aside from the parking delay, it was a wonderful experience!"

"Please inform customers before you change the rooms for them. I had booked mine for the bath, then you gave me a different room on arrival, not even explaining why you had to change the rooms. So I had to see staff at the reception again after checking to sort it out. In the end, i got the room with the bath.I am sorry to say that your place smelt musty that is not right for accommodation for the health and safety reasons. I have also found mould in the bathroom you might want to look at. Hope all gets sorted soon. Thanks. Best."

"1. The hotel's location and facilities are excellent. Located at the southernmost tip of the South Island, the hotel faces the ocean, and there's a popular photo spot right outside the hotel. It's about 30 kilometers from Invercargill city center and only about 3 kilometers from the ferry terminal to Stewart Island, making it very convenient to take the ferry to Stewart Island in the morning. We drove along the coast from Dunedin the first day, and because we had so much fun on the road, we didn't arrive at the hotel until 10 pm. Parking was very convenient in front of and behind the hotel, and we picked up our keys at the front desk and checked into our room. 2. The service was excellent! The breakfast restaurant staff were very patient and attentive! She even made three different ways of cooking eggs for the children, thank you so much! 3. Special thanks to the hotel owner and his team! The next day, we continued south by ferry to Stewart Island, New Zealand's third largest island, where we stayed for two nights. On our return trip, we drove through Queenstown and other places, staying for two more nights before arriving in Christchurch. It wasn't until we were in Christchurch that we discovered our child's favorite toy was missing, which made him very upset. We racked our brains and finally remembered that the toy must have fallen under the bed in our hotel room. We called the owner with some trepidation, but he listened patiently and kindly to our explanation. He then arranged for a colleague to find the plush toy in our room and immediately called us back to confirm. He also arranged for his colleague to send it by courier to our Auckland hotel for the next two days, as requested. The courier arrived in Auckland before we did, and the owner contacted the hotel to confirm receipt. We called to express our gratitude and offered to pay for the courier fee, but he insisted it was a small matter and didn't require any payment. We felt incredibly embarrassed and deeply grateful! Staying at such a hotel in a foreign country, and meeting such an owner and his colleagues, felt more than just a place to stay; it made us feel the warmth and care of friends and family! We look forward to staying longer in Bluff on our next trip!"

"The room was right by the lake, very close to the town center and the firefly viewing area. The only downside was the lack of an elevator; since we were staying on the second floor, we had to carry our luggage up ourselves, and the receptionist, an older woman, offered no help whatsoever. Also, the room didn't have air conditioning, but since it was February, the temperature was acceptable."

"The family room's beds, I believe both are two 0.9m beds pushed together, which made them quite large. Parking right outside the room was very convenient. The bathroom was spacious, but a bit empty; it would be better with some hooks. The shower gel and shampoo were in individual bottles, and should have been placed on a caddy in the shower, rather than under the sink. My child didn't even notice them and just rinsed with hot water. It would be even more convenient if there was an additional sink at the mini-bar counter. It's only a ten-minute walk to the Firefly Cave jetty, and about eight minutes to nearby restaurants, which is very handy. VILLAGE INN also has its own restaurant, but we arrived late at 7 PM on New Year's Eve, and they couldn't accommodate us. We were also rushing to catch the 8:15 PM Firefly Cave boat, so we didn't get to eat there."
