An excellent boutique experience. Sennen House has a story to tell, and it’s a beautiful place to discover it. Set in a quiet location, its grounds are fantastic, utilising every piece of space cleverly; the welcoming croquet set was a taste of what was to come.
The room we stayed in was great. Nice views and good spaces. Having a separate living and dining area is always a bonus, but its well appointed kitchen with a coffee machine was an extra one! The little baking treats left each day were lovely touches and were enjoyed. It was lovely to organise and portion out our own breakfast each morning, and having ownership of this was a bonus.
If we are lucky enough to visit Picton again, we would definitely make this venue our first choice.

Privately owned, friendly owners. The room was roomy and clean. There is a sitting area out the back patio doors which was good. The outdoor furniture is a bit older. The bed and linens were good for a 2 night stay. We just needed a place to stay while we toured the area. Havelock where the postal boat tour is just a 35 minute drive away. There is a Countdown grocery store right across the street which was convenient. There are no restaurants within walking distance.

赵The location is a bit off, not in the core area of the town, but it also brings a rare peace. The standard Motel, the car parked at the door, the front desk after 10 o'clock in the evening after work, but fortunately generally do not need any services. This is a family self-driving tour, booked a two-bedroom suite, spacious and comfortable, and very clean. Fatigue for a day, I can take a hot bath, sleep in a soft and comfortable bed, and be happy again. The boss seems to be Chinese, warm and hospitable, and the boss is very warm. Check-in and check-out are simple and efficient, and this is a good recommendation.

The place is not far from the town centre, just around 20 mins walk. The reception is nice and welcoming. The room is spacious. It can be a bit cold at night but the heater works well. The room’s sound proof isn’t very great. I can hear people next door close and open their room door. The kitchen area is supposed to open at 7am, but it was not when I left at around 7:30am, so it’s worth double checking the time with the reception.

I loved it here! I was a single traveler, and this was by far the best stay of my 2 weeks in New Zealand. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and had a kitchenette. I tend to over do the adventure on my vacations, but this was my most chill morning on the trip. The staff is friendly, and as crazy as it sounds, the breakfast was worth it! I wish I could have stayed here on the return trip.

123-travellerThe advantage is that it is very close to the train station and the pier, a few minutes walk; the second is cheap, the service staff is warm; suitable for non-self-driving backpackers. There are many shortcomings, the deluxe double room, said that there is a private bathroom, in fact, there is a public bathroom, and the washbasin is not much bigger than the palm; The room is basically not soundproof, and the sound of the corridor is clear; the so-called breakfast is a refrigerated bread, bake it yourself with butter jam, and then adjust the milk oats; Free parking is parked on the side of the road next to the street, not the road in front of the hotel. In fact, it is marked as a limit of 60 minutes. The hotel staff informed that there is someone in front of the door and no one in the street parking next to it.

大王来巡山Since we were not in a rush, we decided to stay in Picton for one night before leaving.
The town is not big but very clean and beautiful. I booked the hotel late, so there were not many options. I chose Beachcomber because the reviews were good.
From the train station, follow the navigation and you will arrive in a short time. The front desk staff is a lady, very friendly. We were supposed to check in after 2 pm, but we were arranged in advance. The door is retro and uses a key, which is quite nostalgic.
The room is very clean and better than I expected. You can see the beach not far away from the balcony. The distance is not far or near, and you will not be noisy by the bar at night. If the weather is good, sit on the small balcony and chat with the neighbors. It is quite convenient to go to the beach, restaurant and boat.
