Great Hotel near by Airport (200 Mitter from TIA international Terminal) with clean room with good service. Room was like a five-star hotel with full amenities. ( I can't believe myself) Staff are well trained. Food was delicious and price is reasonable.

Especially the hotel staff's hospitality is wonderful. They were always kind and very supportive. Even we arrived late night due to our flight time and process of immigration, they welcomed us with warm smile and helped to carry our luggage to upstairs. Recommend to stay here.

I have to praise this Hilton. The 14th floor is the tallest building in the area. The facilities are very new, the waiters are very friendly, the breakfast is very good, and the local food is very delicious. The mattress and hot water are very good. The room is not big, but it is enough. The only drawback is that you can only make a phone call to make an appointment for airport pick-up, and you can't see the email. There is no Chinese and no waiters who can speak Chinese. It is not far from the airport, only a few kilometers, and it is also a few kilometers to various attractions, with convenient transportation.

I am on the tail end of an 18-night stay at the Lakhey Hotel in Kathmandu, and I can honestly say that it has been WONDERFUL. I've gotten to know many of the staff, and they all are warm, friendly, and gracious. The hotel has only been open for a couple of months, and it is spotlessly clean, kept that way in part by one of the hardest working housekeepers, Sumitra, that I have ever seen. The staff head, Rajesh, and his assistants, Raj Kumar and Ram, who also multitask with cooking, greet me every morning with a warm welcoming. They all will make you feel like you are part of their family. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, off a busy street, and conveniently located near the touristy Thamel area. The rooms are spotlessly clean, modern, rather upscale, but very economical. The hotel does not have a restaurant but provides a GREAT breakfast that is way beyond what they call a ”continental breakfast” that one would get in America. Freshly cooked to each guest, it includes eggs however you like them (I loved the omelet!), freshly cut fruit, veggies, potatoes, toast with butter & jam, juice, & coffee or tea. And there is a restaurant right next door for other meals. I had never stayed at the Lakhey Hotel before, but I can highly recommend it, and I will surely return in the future. Enjoy your stay ... you won't regret it!!!

The hotel facilities and sanitation are very good. The service is very enthusiastic. The hotel also gave away free breakfast. The hotel's breakfast buffet has many varieties and tastes very good. Love it 😍

A great stay in the heart of Kathmandu! The hotel is simple but has everything you need—hot and cold running water, air conditioning, and a nice breakfast with aromatic coffee on the rooftop terrace. The central location is perfect for exploring the city, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. Highly recommend!

Pros Great location for exploring Themal and provided you are not too high up, you shouldn't hear any road noise as it's set back. I was on the 4th floor and could hear the incessant beeping motorbikes but had moved from the first floor where i heard none (but was directly above the kitchen so could hear banging and chairs scraping from around 6am). 2nd floor is probably a good choice Staff were all excellent Room cleaned daily with 2 large bottles of water provided each day Breakfast was ok - decent variety of fruit, local and western with custom eggs. Coffee was instant though. Air con has heat facility No deposit required on check-in Toiletries provided Cons Some noise depending on your room location - dont stay in 107 or room directly above the kitchen/restaurant No safe for passport, cash etc in room Breakfast area isn't particularly clean i.e. dirty table cloths/mats Poor standard of fixtures/fittings e.g. gaps in windows and doors, curtains dont quite close right, dirty shower curtain, the rooms have seen better days but for the price its still good value. No coffee or milk in room (or 3-in one) No phone charging point near the bed Bathroom mat was old and dirty, no floor towel Tips: take extra passport photo if you intend to get a sim card at the airport, unlimited data one with nepal telecom cost me $10 - signal was mostly ok. Get your currency before you arrive or take enough to convert there, the atm machines are expensive Taxi from airport to Themal should be around 350 rupees working on 50 rupees per km plys 30 rupees start charge. You will be hounded relentlessly by people from the second you leave the plane for tour services etc. It may seem impolite but dont make eye contact, say no thank you and keep walking, otherwise you will spend your entire trip speaking to them. Right now its cold at night, pack accordingly. Be prepared to pay for everything, every temple, every place of historical interest - foreigners are charged around 1000-2000 rupees each time. E.g. all the Durbar squares, main stupas and temples. Don't assume that because Nepal is a developing country it is cheap. It isn't. In fact i found it comparable to some developed countries and not cheaper than say Thailand. A meal would cost me around 1000 rupees. In a smaller more local place you may pay 500. Don't take your new trainers, it's a very dirty, dusty city but exactly what you would expect if you've ever seen it on TV - it's all part of the experience. For exploring all of the main parts of Kathmandu, id say 5 days is a good amount of time. I recommend the everest helicopter tour but on that note i will say that tours are very expensive here, more expensive than even Hong Kong, Thailand, etc!! I ended up walking to the main temples, Chandragiri, Bakhtapur for the more local experience.

Birim (reception desk) was the most polite and helpful employee I have seen in a long time. I also met Sky, one of the owners and he was also very kind, nice and helpful to us. Vastu Boutique Hotel is a no-brainer.

The hotel is relatively close to the Wishing Tower, and it is an Indian hotel chain. Sanitation is pretty good overall. I have lived here for nearly ten days. There are less choices for breakfast. It is suggested that the hotel should enrich the type of breakfast.

Both are pretty good. My husband and I like it very much. It's very close to the Big Stupa.

The hotel's service staff was very polite. As soon as they entered the hotel, the staff offered Hada and instantly felt that this strange city was very kind. It was very clean and hygienic. The breakfast can be ordered as your favorite, and then it is very delicate.

The hotel service is very good, the front desk and the guard are very warm, the location is close to the airport, it is not very easy to find. Ctrip's telephone customer service is really getting better and better, like one!

The hotel location is very nice and the Norbulingka terrace had one of the great views WHICH makes my stay wonderful. And food was good but “ This is request to management or who ever looking after restaurant as I stayed 5 nights.At breakfast I got all luke warm coffee and tea throughout my stay” wish aleast they can serve hot coffee or tea in the chilly morning . Overall the restaurant staff Dipesh and Tenzin are very nice.

The hotel is pretty good, clean, although a bit off

Great location in terms of the view. It's about a 90 mins drive from the airport, road is a bit windy, but worth every bit. The view of the Himalayan range from the rooms, restaurants etc are just breathtaking. The food is decent, and they have a nice restaurant and a bar. There's also a spa, a swimming pool overlooking the mountain range, and rooms are spacious and comfortable.

We stayed only 1 night hoping to see sunrise but unluckily the cloud/pollution level were a lot even at the mountain where the resort is located. We had a great time there with beer and play games until late night. 1 disappointed thing is we were informed that the pool is heated pool but it is not heated at all, so we didn’t get to do swimming there. The hotel also have a taxi service for us from hotel to airport in a convenient truck with AC! Overall are good

As it is the best hotel in Nagarkot, I was very satisfied. I arrived 30 minutes earlier than check-in time, but they still accommodated me. They also upgraded my room for free, so I stayed in a deluxe room! One thing that was different from what I expected was that the pool was small. I had imagined it to be quite large, but it wasn't that big. I think if you don't expect too much you'll be able to enjoy yourself and not be disappointed. Overall I'm satisfied!

Just on the mountain, you can see the whole mountain view with your own observation deck. The room is quite large, there is a separate bathroom, and there is a bathtub. This is the most luxurious inn in the mountains of Nepal. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures... The most pleasant surprise is that I met the little brother of Kailong here. The one in black clothes), because when I was looking for an inn on the Internet, there was a coffee lodge ranked first. In the evaluation, Kailong, who said that he would speak Chinese, had already left, so he changed this inn, but he did not expect it. When I met him, it seems that the two inns are all opened by their family. The little brother’s voice is very good, and the ear will be pregnant. Not only is Chinese good, but English is better... Owner and staff members are very kind. Facility is old and it was cold at night without any heater in the room. I had problems with water supply and shower which were fixed after claiming. I really enjoyed a mini trekking from Nagarkot to Chang Narayan with an excellent guide from the hotel.

Customer service was satisfactory but rooms were not clean. Had a strange smell. Bed sheet and blankets were smelly too. I recommend you to please change bed sheets and blanket sheet after each use and keep a room freshener spray inside. Morning view from the hotel was absolutely amazing.

It’s pretty basic but that’s reflected in the price, the staff are great and it’s a beautiful location. Rooms were clean but not heated but we were warm enough with the duvets and the bar and restaurant is good. The courtyard offers amazing views of the surrounding mountains and forest. The only negative was that the shower was poor with terrible water pressure – but then it is up a mountain so couldn’t really complain. Despite that, I’d be more than happy to stay here again. There’s not a huge amount to do in Nargakot apart from admire the views and go for walks. With a young family, trekking wasn’t an option, but we did do the nature trail which was relatively easy going and took about an hour and a half (with a stop off for a beer and a Coke). Trail starts at the bottom of the hill, just before the school. When you get to the road at the end of the forest section, turn right and it will bring you back to the hotel.

This was a very good hotel with a touch of antiquity. The rooms were very spacious with all the necessities. The hotel decor was good and the external appearance had a heritage look. We were received, checked-in and the bags etc. transferred to our rooms very quickly. The staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. The Reception area had a warm and friendly look with a show case full of books on the side. The food was excellent and tasty. A wide array of items were offered in the dinner and breakfast buffets. The service was efficient and excellent. Weather permitting. it has an excellent view of the Sunrise. You can sip a cup of tea, relax on chairs provided on the balcony, while you experience the splendor of the sunrise. All in all, a wonderful, heart warming and restful experience in this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The service is top-notch. Rooms are very clean and they provide all the necessary amenities. We loved the view from our room and on a clear day, you can see the Himalayas. Breakfast buffet was lovely and the staff are so attentive and quick. Dinner at the restaurant was on the pricier side. We ordered a cheese pizza that tasted very bland and had to send it back. The chef added more cheese on top and reheated the pizza which made it worse. However, the waiter was very nice enough to send the pizza back again and removed it from our bill. Apart from that, we would definitely recommend this hotel and cannot wait to return.

The host Mohan was friendly and helpful. The room and shared bathroom were clean. This hotel is halfway to the attractions, which are far from other hotels; you can walk to the city from the hotel. It's quiet and quiet, and ideal if you've just experienced the noise of Kathmandu. Mohan also offers massages to relax. Remarks: Please take off the noisy bells and keep warm with warm sheets. Mohan also arranged a guide to take us on a 3-day hiking tour and saw the Big Buddha. The lama guide was very good.
