I stayed on the 15th floor facing the river and Kampong Morten. The location is perfect as there are lots of food stalls and restaurants in the area. My room was cleaned every day and water was also replenished. The light bulbs went out on day at two locations and they were replaced within minutes of my call. The hair dryer I thought went out but it was on cooling mode so it shut off but housekeeping brought a new one immediately. The only thing I would like is plugins for a hair dryer and curling iron in the bathroom. There isn't any and the location that has a plugin does not have a mirror. This is quite an inconvenience. Many people said in their review that the hot water doesn't work. It does if it is turned to the correct direction and left running a bit to warm up. The beds need an upgrade as it has become hard and lost its comfy softness. The headboard has stains and needs to be cleaned or replaced. The gym has a great aesthetic but the pool is a little too cold for me. Overall, I had a great stay. After 10 days, it felt like home. I will definitely stay again.

1) Checking in progress is slow and the staff wasn’t helpful and explanation wasn’t clear. 2) The receptionist was not providing a proper direction when i ask is there any shuttle service to freeport outlet is available or not / where should i wait / how long it took 3) Room service - Signature Nasi Goreng kampung , the prawns were uncooked still raw, and i called One connect (room service) so more than 3times only someone answered. 4) The soundproofing of the room is BAD, we can hear kids running laughing, the trolley is moving, the airplane sounds. 5) The air conditioning was bad too! I woke up in the middle of the night due to high temperature and sweating in bed. 6) My car was all fecal, there is not covered parking lots provided. Overall I had a bad weekend , restless night. Will not return again.

There are shops, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby. The hotel is connected to a mall, making it easy to access KFC, Soul Garden, Starbucks, Subway, and local shops. The mall also has a Mr. DIY store. If you have time, you can visit the small sea aquarium and Shore Tower, which are nearby attractions. Things to Note: • If you book the apartment side of the Shore, there is no Wi-Fi or intercom. While Wi-Fi isn’t an issue if you have a SIM card or data plan, the lack of an intercom is inconvenient. Any requests require walking down to the lobby, which is a short distance from the apartment. • The apartment includes a microwave and fridge, but despite being advertised, washing machines and ovens are not available for use. Kids’ Swimming Pool: The kids’ pool is fun and safe, but be cautious as the flooring is not slip-resistant. Breakfast: It’s best to go for breakfast at 7:00 AM or after 9:00 AM to avoid long queues. The breakfast is quite standard. Elevators: Expect some waiting time, especially before check-out hours. Overall, the location is great for families, but there are some areas for improvement.

Homestay is superbly clean, and size is just nice for a family of 4-6. Complete with an induction cooker, kettle, washing machine, and hair dryer. They provide iron but need to be replaced. House is fully air conditioned from hall to rooms. Definitely will come again.

The view of the junior suite was good but would have been better on a higher floor. Bathroom was huge and guests could request for chair within for elderly. Seems a short distance from Jonker but will the long and unpredictable grab and room situation in melaka, the location of hotel becomes a inconvenience. However, air-conditioning is unable to be controlled and was too cold at night. Breakfast needs a queue, and food is not fantastic and has no signature dishes that you can remember after. Hotel does not respond much to request such as high floor or that there is a third guest in the room despite paying for an extra person. This is evident when the bathroom amenities, bathrobe and slippers provided were still in pairs. Though Hotel did top up more after the first day. When they do top up, they are not stingy.

I spent a night here after my talk in a nearby hospital. It is located at the business area of Ayer Keroh, which on the contrary, is not very busy. As it is one of the tallest building around, finding the hotel is not difficult. As the title suggest, it is a basic no frills hotel. The lobby is small and well lit. The room is clean and functional. It was well worth for the price. The issue is since it is fairly cheap, the hotel seems to be choice of the rowdy Mainland Chinese tourists. The breakfast was where they displayed their disorderliness.

Booked deluxe room but somehow got a suite (wasn't informed of this change). Checked in at almost 6pm but was told room wasn't ready so we had to wait 10mins, which was quite disappointing. Hotel is pretty dated but it is clean. Both tv not working in the suite. So good chance to just rest well after walking around

However, the first thing we feel upon arriving at 3pm is that the lobby is very warm, there is not even a think cold air blowing from the ceiling air-con. Anyway, we booked 2 rooms a week ago and we were told that the rooms are not ready, yet. The check-in time for this hotel is 3pm, but we have waited 30 minutes only to get our first room and another 30 minutes to get second room. The first room was super dark as there were only 1 light working, so we ended up calling the maintenance to fix all other lights in the room. The second room was not clean, hair were everywhere and there's even a pair of leggings hanging in the wardrobe. Both rooms showers were not properly clean, hence the water is not able to run, as it's clogged due to massive hair balls stucked in the hole. That's not all. As our rooms doesn't comes with breakfast, we bought 2 breakfast for the first room for next day. There was no meal vouchers given to us except the receipt as the receptionist told us to show just the room key to the cafe staff. But, the cafe staff refused to let us in even after we showed the room key to him. He told us that we need to present meal voucher to him, which was not told to us by the receptionist. We told him to checked in the system as we have paid for it and he refused to do so. He shoved us away immediately without checking further. After all the hassle, we went to the receptionist at lobby and seek for refund. And we were told that it takes 15 working days for the refund (which is MYR30 only). We paid by cash for the breakfast when we check in, but we cannot get our cash back instantly for refusing us go enter the cafe. We don't think that we deserved such treatment by the hotel staff, just because the room rate are affordable, doesn't means the hospitality standards can be regards as third world class. What else can we ask for? If it's not due to TripAdvisor system, I don't even want to give even 1 rating.

Had an incredible experience at this hotel! Our room was wonderfully spacious, perfect for our family's needs. What really stood out was their exceptional service. I mentioned my son's 2nd birthday and asked for simple decorations - they went above and beyond! The staff surprised us with beautiful decor and a special cake that made our little boy so happy. I was truly impressed by their thoughtfulness and attention to detail. The hotel's effort to make our celebration special showed their commitment to creating memorable stays for guests. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a hotel that goes the extra mile!

The place is so good. I chose the sea view and the view was superb. But the host is not really helpful. But the unit is so nice.

Good location... Easy to find food and facilities.. Strategic location and away from town. So far the receptionist friendly and easy to cooperate. Will come again.. And book again..

As far after viewing some negative feedback at A Famosa, we have some worries but still giving a try for our short stay in 4 bedroom pool villa. We checked in around 4pm and everything go smoothly. Our unit no is 1022, end lot which we have so much of privacy and fun time in the villa with kids. Villa is clean. No mosquito, aircon works. Although utensils in kitchen a bit less as we have only plates and cups, not even a washing detergent provided. You have to bring your own cooking stuff if you plan to cook there. We have a great time in the villa. Thank you A Famosa.

I am not sure why this resort has had so many bad reviews. Glad I still went ahead with the trip and have no regrets doing so. The place is very relaxing. There’s a buggy service to bring us around if we are lazy to walk or electric scooters are available for guests. During weekdays and off-peak periods, they serve a la carte breakfast and, for small eaters like me and my family, the serving is considered big. The lunch cum dinner menu don’t have a wide variety but enough to fill an empty stomach. Portion is not as large as breakfast so don’t think of sharing. Staff are friendly and housekeeping plus maintenance were quick to attend to our needs. The rooms are comfortable but being in the jungle, mosquitoes and ants are inevitable so just make sure that you bring along mosquito repellents.

This resort was out of my expectation. From the time we arrived till we left the experienced was great. The environment was great and the staffs were all very friendly. From the manager to the floor staffs, this I give them 5 stars. The assistant manager, Wai Loon really accommodative. Activities was great. It's surrounded by nature and again it's great. Highly recommended!!!

The wall of the room is full of mold. Appreciate if hotels can repaint of find the source of the issue and fixed it.

The hotel area is easy to go out on a street to find food in Melaka.

Easy to find the location of the stay and suprisingly the location is quite strategic. There’s parking space for customers but limited due to its small capacity. Everything is good since the price is cheap

This hotel is at a shoplot area with many nearby abandoned shops. The good thing is the hotel is quite clean. However, the family room with 2 queen beds are very small. Very difficult to pray and move around in the room. Asked for extra pillow and blanket. Charged RM20 for blanket cover and RM5 for each pillow. The rate is very expensive for the room size and location. It is cheaper to book directly with the hotel. There is a row of shops across the road with Speedmart 99, mrDIY, Malay restaurant and Mamak shop. Many termites were at the restaurant when we went for dinner. Overall, it is a decent hotel but the price for family room is very expensive. The single rooms are much cheaper and worth it.

A centrally located and newly built hotel. Very pleasant, clean, and cozy interior with comfortable beds and pillows. Great A/C and TV. Things to improve on: slow check in process (~15 mins), most rooms have no windows, toothbrush not provided. Apart from these, one of the better hotels in this small town. Worth the money and very comfortable for 2 a night stay.
