The skincare samples provided by the hotel are all organic and plant-based. They also offer delicious afternoon tea. The hotel even gave us a free tram ticket. This is a beautiful little city with a stunning coastline and the most beautiful Starbucks."

"Extremely close to JR Station and the bus terminal, making it a great stopover. The hotel room was quite spacious, with a small sofa and even a capsule coffee machine! We could walk to Fugan Canal Park, and since it was a weekend when we visited, there were evening performances and a musical fountain at the park, which was very lively."

"Great location, just 1min walk away from Toyama Station on level 5 of the Maroot building . It’s a perfect base to move around the Tateyama region. The room is on the small side but adequate and well furnished. For tourists who need the iron & ironing board, there are 2 sets per floor that you can use. This is a lifesaver. I’ve had to deal with the trousers presser only at certain hotels, much to my dismay. This was a nice change."

"Five-star rating all around! I was a bit worried the 2019 renovation might feel old, but it absolutely doesn't – everything feels very new. They offer a pick-up service from the train station, or it's just a 300m walk. Inside the hotel, there are English-speaking staff, making communication a breeze. The buffet dinner was also good. There aren't many dining options on the hot spring street; besides one BBQ place, it's mostly set menus and ramen, so the hotel buffet is a better choice. For lunch, I recommend the cafe by the entrance; both the cakes and drinks were delicious. Since we visited in winter, we didn't book the scenic train, but we did go to the ski resort, which was perfect for kids. The foot bath next to the train station was super hot and incredibly relaxing. This is a great place to stay for two nights."

"The hotel is conveniently located near Toyama Station. Downstairs, there's a Japanese restaurant and a sushi place, but unfortunately, neither accepts reservations, so you have to queue. There's also a convenience store on the first floor. The front desk is on the second floor, where you can pick up toothbrushes, toothpaste, makeup remover, skincare, tea bags, drip coffee, and bath salts – a really good selection. You need your room card to access the elevators. The room itself is a bit small but quite new, and the layout is pretty efficient. My only complaint is the narrow and long entryway; with a 24-inch suitcase open, only one person can pass through at a time. It would be perfect if that hallway were a bit wider. The bathroom gets a huge thumbs-up! It's spacious, with a separate bathtub and shower, and the shower floor dries very quickly. For room cleaning, you need to put a sign on your door. If you only need fresh towels and trash emptied, you can leave them outside your door in the morning, and they'll hang new ones on the doorknob. They provide two bottles of water daily. Toyama Castle and the 'most beautiful Starbucks' are both within walking distance."

"The front desk service is amazing. The hot spring is very comfortable. The room is clean and hygienic with a dry and wet separation. The mini bar has pudding and mineral water. The breakfast is also very sumptuous. It's just a 15-minute straight walk from Toyama Station. Remember to bring a bath towel when you go to soak in the hot spring!! "Due to a booking error made by the agent, my check-in experience was terrible. I spent the entire night communicating with Ctrip (the booking platform), and while it was eventually resolved, I was still disappointed that I didn't get the room I wanted. The hotel is right next to Toyama Castle, and you might get lucky and see the Tateyama Mountain Range from the side. There's a convenience store and a tram station across the street, which is generally good. However, the room itself was very basic, and the service wasn't particularly warm. Overall, the experience was just average. A small surprise was the mochi pounding and sake offering on New Year's Day morning."

"Location: About a 15-minute walk from Toyama Station. There's a convenience store, the Daiwa department store, and the Toyama Prefectural Library (Glass Museum) nearby. Overall, it's very convenient. Cleanliness: First, you need to take off your shoes when you enter. The entire hotel's hallways and guest rooms are covered in tatami mats, which is a dream for those who love tatami. The bathroom floor is made of bamboo strips, which feels much better than tiles. Every morning, you can see staff meticulously cleaning the common areas, which was a great experience. (They don't clean your room during extended stays, so be aware if that's an issue for you.) Facilities: There's a public hot spring with a large pool and sauna (also open to day visitors, but closed for cleaning from 10 AM to 3 PM). If you don't like public baths, you can enjoy a private soak in the small wooden tub in your room anytime, which is fantastic – it's like getting a private onsen experience at an economy price. The ice cream, yogurt, and massage chairs on the second floor are also a huge plus. Dining: Since I stayed for several days, I booked a room without breakfast. If you decide you want breakfast on any given day, you can just go to the restaurant, swipe your card, and pay when you leave (2500 JPY per adult per meal). It's highly recommended if you love fresh seafood, offering Toyama's 'three treasures' (squid, white shrimp, and tiny rolls), as well as various sashimi and roe for you to create your own seafood bowl. Even for someone like me who doesn't eat much seafood, there were plenty of options like fried dishes, bread, and refreshing watermelon. Overall, I highly recommend this chain onsen hotel."

"Counter checkin service is fast and patient for serving. She introduced me to collect cleaning tools at self counter, and help me to call the lift. Luggage storage service is provision, get convenient for me. Also the location of hotel is nearby JR station and bus station, very convenient for travel around and catch train."

"Excellent! This was the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Japan. The breakfast was plentiful with many local Toyama specialties. Our room had a great view and all the essential amenities. The front desk staff provided excellent service, even giving us a tram ticket and discount vouchers for two art museums. It's super close to the station, just a 3-minute walk, and there's a Lawson convenience store right across the street or behind the hotel."
