"The hotel is a five-minute walk from Omiya Station, which is a major plus as it's very close to the subway. There are also frequent trains to the city center, and plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby, including a beautiful large park! The service was truly outstanding. I asked the front desk for local food recommendations, and they quickly printed out a food map for me. There were quite a few tour groups staying there, but my room was spacious and comfortable, and being on a high floor offered beautiful views. If you need cleaning, you just need to let the front desk know in advance. On the downside, it's quite a distance from central Tokyo, requiring multiple transfers, so you need to pay attention to your directions. Also, there's a cemetery nearby, and you can see it from the room if you open the window. Something to consider if that bothers you."

"The room was spacious overall with excellent natural light, making for a very comfortable stay. The bedding was soft and clean, ensuring a restful sleep. The staff were friendly and responsive. "I had a wonderful stay at Yuno Yado Wadoh with a friend, the scenery out there is absolutely beautiful, the staff were so helpful and attentive, the food was so delicious! The staff were all so kind and went above and beyond to help with any issues we had. The public onsen and private open air bath was heavenly. There were also some very fun hiking trails within walking distance from the Ryokan. I would highly recommend this Ryokan as a fun get away from the city to really get to see and experience the countryside of Japan while not having to travel so far."

"If you follow the map, you need to go up and down a footbridge to get to this hotel from the train station. However, if you take another side road, you can easily reach it without crossing the footbridge. The hotel is a bit old but clean; it's a good option for a short stay if the price is good. The location is within walking distance of the park. There's a delicious eel restaurant a ten-minute walk away, and a very high-quality Western-style bakery a three-minute walk away."

"The hotel's hygiene is excellent, and it's quite new. The only minor issue is parking, which can be a bit difficult as you have to use the adjacent mall's parking. The breakfast at the downstairs restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere, but the food variety is just average. I'd consider coming back again."

"This hotel was a fantastic find! The large public bath on the second floor was super convenient, making it unnecessary to shower in the room and keeping the room dry. A 14.8 sqm room was perfectly adequate for one person. All rooms face south, so the futons get sun exposure daily, and you can open the windows for ventilation, which is a big plus. The mini-fridge has an on/off switch, so you can turn it off to reduce noise and energy consumption if you don't need it. The room was brand new and odor-free. If you don't leave your room before 10 AM, they won't clean it that day, but you can leave your trash bin outside your door for staff to empty. No water is provided in the room, but there's a Lawson and 7-Eleven within 10 meters downstairs. On the first floor, you can self-service toiletries, tea bags, and ice cream bars. Electric bicycles are available for rent at the entrance. Getting to Tokyo and Shinjuku is easy, but make sure to take the rapid or limited express trains on the subway, as the local trains that stop at every station can be a bit of a drag. For 390, the room rate includes breakfast and two hot spring baths a day. It's less than a 10-minute walk from Omiya Station. The east exit has Takashimaya, while the west exit has Sogo and 0101 (with a large Montbell on the first floor where you can get tax refunds). There are also plenty of dining options nearby. Windsor Racket is about 10 meters to the left in front of the hotel, though they don't have many new arrivals. Inside the station, you'll find Lumine and Lumine 2, which includes Beams. Isomaru Suisan is just 50 meters outside the west exit of the station. Omiya is also a Shinkansen station, making it very convenient to go north to Karuizawa. It only took about an hour from the hotel to the Karuizawa Outlet. The station itself is huge and often sells delicious and reasonably priced local strawberries, tomatoes, and apples. There's also a branch of the famous Sembikiya strawberry cream sandwich shop inside the station. The hotel's breakfast was incredibly rich and satisfying, mainly Japanese-style with plenty of soups and dishes. The value for money is exceptional. They also offer unlimited free takeaway coffee every day. I feel like this is the most cost-effective hotel I've stayed at in Japan. Staying for a full week costs about the same as one night in the city. It's an absolute steal!"

"Every time I visit Japan, no matter where I go first, my last stop is always Tokyo. And when I'm in Tokyo, Urawa Pines Hotel is my absolute top choice. While it's located at Urawa Station in Saitama Prefecture, it's incredibly close to Tokyo, and the transportation is unbelievably convenient. Let me elaborate: * **To Ueno or Tokyo:** No transfers needed, and you can take a rapid train. * **To Ikebukuro or Shinjuku:** Again, no transfers, and a rapid train gets you there quickly. * **To Karuizawa:** Just hop on the Shinkansen at Omiya Station. * **To Yokohama:** Direct train, no transfers. You can even get directly to Odawara and Atami. Besides the convenient transportation, the shopping is also a big draw, with Isetan and PARCO right at the station exit. The small street leading to the hotel is a bustling food street, full of delicious options. But the best part, ultimately, is the hotel itself. The rooms are spacious, bright, comfortable, and cozy. Even the smaller rooms are 24 square meters, and the larger ones are 32 square meters – which is almost unbelievable in Japan, where space is at such a premium. What's even more surprising is the price. For anyone doing a self-guided tour of Japan, Urawa Pines Hotel should be your first choice. Highly, highly recommend it!!!"

"We were staying with a family of three. They don't have triple rooms, so the room is split into two. Even with two rooms, the price is still reasonable. The rooms are mostly flat and well-maintained. Close to Honjo-Waseda Station, free parking, a large public bath (with a Dyson hair dryer), laundry facilities, a microwave, free tea (coffee and apple cider vinegar drinks are also available until 10:00 PM), amenities, and samue-style pajamas are available for personal selection at the front desk (you can choose between memory foam and marshmallow pillows, subject to restrictions), and more. There's a large supermarket and laundry next door, as well as a delicious bakery, family restaurant, and convenience store nearby, making it incredibly convenient. The front desk staff are all very kind and cheerful. My only complaint is that the walls are thin, so you can often hear noises from the neighboring rooms (earplugs are provided, which is unusual). The lockers in the changing room by the public bath don't have locks. I haven't booked a room with breakfast yet, so I'd like to try that next time."

"When I entered the room, the first thing I did was open the window all the way. It smelled of cigarettes... I didn't realize there was no non-smoking room option. We stayed there the night before our daughter's university entrance exam, and it left her with a bad experience."
