The location of the hotel is pretty convenient. 5–6 minutes walk to Hommachi St., which you can easily use to travel to Kyoto, Kobe, etc.  The check-in and check-out were really fast, and we had an upgrade, which was worth the price. I had read the previous reviews about the rudeness of the staff, which is not actually due to this, but it’s the language barrier that could make a tired traveller a little less patient.  If you wish to ask something more specific, please don’t be afraid to use the Google Translate app to help you with the communication. The staff have been really helpful to all of our enquiries. Some remarks were about the hotel lobby being on the 15th floor, but they have a dedicated entrance for taxis or cars to reach the hotel.  Bonus: if you exit through KoKuMiN Osaka Metro Yodoyabashi Station (Exit 4) on your right is a local grocery store that sells local produce and other fruits/food products. It's cheaper to go here to buy your drinks and fruits, etc.

Really great! The front desk staff were also very good and patient! It's very close to Shinsaibashi, with a 7-Eleven right across the street and a FamilyMart nearby. The hotel is also very clean, well-equipped, and they provide fresh towels every day. I'll definitely book this place again next time!!!

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was more spacious than typical hotel rooms. It's about a 6-minute walk from Namba Station West Exit and comes with a fridge, microwave, and stovetop. The room was clean and tidy, and they also offer luggage storage.

Great location for Universal studios. About 5 min walk. Easy check in and staff are quick and very polite. Room tax is charged per room per night 200yen. Very convenient to city walk where you will find many shops like 7.11, Lawson and many restaurants of all cuisines. Hotel is close to station. Room was large and beds comfortable. They have amenities available on G/F such as toothbrush, brush, cotton pads etc. Breakfast buffet was good selection and also has kids corne.

The room was incredibly small; there was no space to move around once a suitcase was opened. The 'double bed' was actually two single beds pushed together. Check-out is at 10 AM, and extending it to 2 PM costs an additional 2000 yen. The location is convenient, making it very easy to get to Shinsaibashi. Luggage storage is free. The front desk service was mediocre – no extra words or smiles.

The hotel room was quite spacious for Japanese standards, and it was a convenient walk to the subway station. The TV in the room wasn't directly facing the bed, but rather the sofa side. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and I'd recommend it for travelers. The cleanliness was excellent, and both check-in and check-out were very smooth. They even deliver all your luggage to your room, so the service is fantastic.

Rooms are really small but!!! For the price you pay, it's really worth it. Shin-imamiya station just right across the road, it's super convenient. There's a konbini just right downstairs too. The rooms aren't much to scream about, but they provide a good rest. Toilets are small, but expected of Japan. It was a good experience nevertheless given the superb location. Front desk staff are friendly and spoke relatively good English, providing us with directions and good recommendations on places to eat in the vicinity. Osaka tower is just a short walk away! They've even got a luggage weighing scale at the lobby for you to weigh in the bags before heading to the airport.

The hotel has amazing views! This time, I booked a room with a view of the Tenjin-gaku Castle, and wow, it was absolutely stunning. I got some fantastic photos from the room! The hotel is right next to Osaka Park, close to government buildings, so it's a very safe area. It's not far from the subway station, making it convenient to get to several shopping districts. In the morning, you can take a stroll through the nearby Osaka Castle Park.

Fantastic hotel! The value for money here is really great! Facilities: The style is very upscale! I had a very comfortable stay! It doesn't feel like a cheap budget hotel at all; in fact, it has a bit of a high-end hotel vibe. Cleanliness: This was the cleanest hotel I've stayed in during this trip… The foreign young lady who cleaned my room was very thorough and polite! Service: The Japanese staff at the front desk were just okay, but the foreign-looking service staff, especially a young lady, was incredibly friendly! She proactively helped me and was very enthusiastic! I’ll definitely stay here again! It's a really good hotel; I was a bit hesitant to book after reading some reviews at first… This hotel seems to have quite a few Korean guests.

The location is convenient, and the hygiene is good. The most important thing is that the location is indeed very convenient with easy access to transportation. The room isn't big, but for Japan, it's acceptable. The ramen place across the street is pretty decent too.

MMeitounaohahahahaThis is one of the few hotels in Japan with a 12 PM checkout, which is great. There's a Christmas tree downstairs that adds a lovely atmosphere. We went to the theme park on our second day, and this hotel is the closest one to it – the entrance is right downstairs! Food options are also very convenient. I highly recommend the fried beef cutlet, it was absolutely delicious! Our clothes got soaked on the Jurassic ride, which was totally unexpected, but thankfully we could just pop back to the hotel to change. You just need to get a stamp from the staff at the entrance to re-enter the park. I hope to bring my kids here next time and will definitely stay here again!

YYuexin IrisBefore my trip, I was torn between the InterContinental, W Hotel, Conrad, Waldorf Astoria, and The Park Hyatt, but I ended up choosing the InterContinental, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel upgraded my room, and both the view and the size were fantastic. The hotel's location is impeccable, right above Grand Front Osaka. Stepping out, you're immediately surrounded by major shopping malls like Hankyu, Daimaru, Yodobashi Camera, Lucua, and Lucua 1100, all connected by walkways. From gourmet food to shopping and trendy brands, it was incredibly convenient. Having such a spacious room in Japan is a rarity. Our upgraded room must have been nearly 100 square meters – incredibly roomy and practical, complete with an oven, induction cooktop, and a double-door refrigerator. The bathroom featured a bathtub and Byredo amenities; a soak with the hotel-provided bath salts instantly melted away the day's fatigue. The breakfast buffet offered a wide array of choices, including Japanese cold dishes, Oden, and Western desserts, all with meticulous attention to detail. From the concierge to the front desk, every staff member demonstrated professionalism. At check-out, they even proactively helped load our luggage into the car and confirmed the address with the driver in Japanese. Plus, there were many staff members who spoke Chinese. The only minor drawback was a noticeable smell of disinfectant when returning to the room each day, but it didn't detract from the overall experience at all. Whether it's for shopping, comfort, or service details, this hotel will definitely be my choice again on my next visit to Osaka!

VVinzy NgGood hotel with spa with mediocre services.  The room was neat, clean and feeling new.  However, staffs are not familiar with English, not even talking Mandarin. Using the translator with poor voice input was troublesome and sometimes it interpreted wrong meanings. Room service if missed will not be provided again on that day. Also, there were many spa-only visitors simply lying on the spa floor.  Parts of the male spa were under construction and one night there were no 40 degree Celsius or higher pool as they were all under cleaning at the same time. The ground of the spa was very slippery, mostly because many visitors did not bother to rinse themselves well after using the conditioner. The breakfast buffet is good in terms of food choices and environment. But I dislike the scrambled eggs, which had a texture tasted awful.

AAIcyanThe Odysis Hotel (Osaka Kansai Airport branch) is a fantastic hotel for a layover. The spacious suites are a major highlight – a rare find in Japanese hotels, making it super convenient to organize luggage. The 'views are decent' too, with upper floors offering good perspectives overlooking the bay. Plus, its prime location right next to JR Rinku Town Station, just one stop from the airport, and direct access to Rinku Premium Outlets, makes transportation and shopping incredibly convenient. Overall, it's a highly functional and good value-for-money transit hotel.

EEeveeatsWe’ve been to Japan a few times now and we officially decided Namba is a ‘no’ for this trip, too much chaos. Instead, we stayed right at the doorstep of the Osaka Umeda JR station. It’s that perfect sweet spot where you’re surrounded by every restaurant and konbini imaginable, but it’s actually quiet and tucked away with good sound proofing. I originally booked a room with no windows but they were so sweet and upgraded us for free. The room was actually decent sized for Japan standards, I could actually walk around the bed and the bed itself was a dream. Honestly, if you want the convenience of Umeda without the noise, this is the move. 10/10 first stop.

GGuest UserThe room is big. No problem to fit a family of 4 adults. There is a convenience store on the second floor; you can buy snacks and food. You can use the shared microwave oven and water dispensing machine at the common area of each floor. There is no hot water at the water dispenser; you still need to boil water in your room if you wish to have hot water. The hotel had no prepared coffee pack inside the room. Complimentary toothbrushes, shavers, hairbrushes, and shower caps are placed on the second floor; you need to pick them up yourself before going up to your room. It's just next to the souvenir shop.

CChocoAlisonThe location is very convenient, with JR lines directly to the airport and Expo, Osaka Loop Line and Midosuji Line directly to the city center. There is a large 7-11 and a Café de Cabrera downstairs. A five-minute walk will take you to a super large Life supermarket, which sells sashimi, bento, and cooked food. For breakfast, there are a variety of packaged breads, rice balls, drinks and soups, as well as yogurt pudding and yogurt, but you have to go early, as there will be no choice after 8:30. You can take your breakfast back to your room and eat it without taking it out of the hotel. Free umbrellas are provided when it rains. There is no bottled water in the room, only a kettle. Ice can be picked up on the 8th floor. There is coffee and tea bags available for pick-up in the lobby. The hotel only provides shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, and skin care product samples need to be purchased for 500 yen. The hygiene is very good. The auntie cleans the room very carefully. She will put everything away and put it back in place, and help fold clothes. There is only one chair in the 4-person room, it would be better if there were one or two more chairs. After 10pm, you need to swipe your room card to enter the hotel, which is quite safe.

MM264487****Just one train stop from Kansai Airport, and a quick walk across the connecting bridge gets you there. I stayed here for a night because I had a late flight. The hotel is a bit old, and you can definitely tell the facilities are dated, but it was actually quite clean. The size was perfect for one person, but it would be cramped for two. I added breakfast, and it was pretty good with a decent variety – my stomach was too small to try everything, but a few bites filled me up. The hotel is close to Rinku Park and the Outlet Mall, so you can take a stroll before checking out in the morning.
