The hotel is located in a resort area, so there are many places to go around. The hotel is a little far from Miyazaki Station, and it is also a little far from Aoshima and Nichinan. The location is convenient. It’s just 5-10 minute taxi ride to Takachiho gorge, 9-minute walk to Amaterasu railway and 12 minutes on foot to Takachiho bus center. The room is big enough, clean and comfortable. The food’s delicious! You must try their chicken nanban and deer meat. Above all, they have the nicest, most accommodating, and approachable hotel staff. I highly recommend staying at hotel grateful Takachiho. Grateful for the best hotel stay. Again, the staff are amazing!

The hotel is very close to JR Miyazaki and it takes about 8 minutes of walk to get there, so it is really convenient. The room is really big, and this is unlike most hotels in Japan in the city center. The only criticism is that there is no hot water in the showers. The waters are lukewarm at best, and hot water is really important in the winter.

No man hotel with technology of self check in but on the other hand in washrooms the water mixers are very old every time when you want some water you have to decide and both hot water and cold water taps adjust with each other to get required temperature of water. In small hotels and in backward areas now automatic water mixers are available you have to adjust just one knob and you will get water with desired temperature.

It's about 20-30min drive into Miyazaki town but thats not the main reason why you'd choose this Hotel. It's right by the Sea with so much activities that it's one of the places we wished we stayed an extra day. The Hotel is massive and due to the design, it looks like each room will have a good-excellent sea view. Come in the Summer and enjoy the activities and the surrounding areas.

Hotel provided seat cushions for us to sit on to watch the evening show at Takachiho Shrine. Also very helpful with confirming our next destination since we did not speak Japanese. Lovely meals in the onsite restaurant. I would definitely recommend this hotel and even stay here again one day.

It was also easily accessible by bus and train, allowing for smooth travel to tourist spots such as Aoshima and Miyazaki Shrine. There are many restaurants and convenience stores in the area, so you can enjoy local cuisine. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly, making for a comfortable stay. Miyazaki specialties were served for breakfast, adding to the enjoyment of the trip. The location and service were well balanced, making this a hotel I would like to use again if I visit Miyazaki.

It's about 10 minutes away from the city. The location is not great, but the hospitality is excellent and the hotel thinks about the details of its guests. The lounge area from the large public bath and the free drinks there are great, so you can relax and take your time. I think it's worth staying an night just for this hotel. I wish they could extend the bath time a little more in the morning.

It is very close to Takachiho Gorge and is subject to traffic control on weekends. , it’s only 15 minutes to park your car and walk into the canyon. There is no food nearby. It is recommended to come back after you are full or order a meal from the hotel. The bed is big, two big and two small are comfortable

It was the first time for a group of 4 of us to travel to Takachiho. A friend strongly recommended that we stay at ”Shenxian”, so we booked 2 rooms. We were greeted by parking attendants, explained the room, and made reservations for dinner and breakfast. The receptionists were very nice. They are considerate and have good English skills. The rooms are clean and the hot spring ♨️ water is super good. Dinner and breakfast are fresh and delicious. We will stay at this hot spring hotel again and recommend it to our friends.

I used it on a solo trip, but I was impressed with the detailed response from check-in to check-out. I was impressed with the idea of using dinner, breakfast and local food. I think the balance between price and service is very good facility.

The lady boss called us to reserve a table beforehand, and then took us to the restaurant by car, and asked the restaurant to call her after our meal and send a car to pick us up to the hotel; because the next day was a weekday, there was no circulating bus After visiting various tourist areas, she arranged a car to take us to Takachiho Gorge, and asked us to walk into a product store there after completing the trip to find the person in charge to call her and send a car to pick us up to the next tourist spot ~ the small train station, and it will be free during the period. It’s really heartwarming to help us prepare a bamboo leaf rice ball for each of us! ! Very friendly and friendly proprietress, of course she drove us to the bus terminal when we finally left the hotel! 😁 The room size is relatively small, there is no problem for 2 people, and it is a little crowded for 3 people! There are small desserts in the room! There is a separate toilet but no separate bathroom, but the hotel has a small hot spring where you can take a shower by the way! The breakfast is a Japanese breakfast, very delicious, and a staff member sings Japanese songs for entertainment! The hotel is not big, it looks a bit like a homestay, but the enthusiasm of the proprietress is full of warmth, making everything unimportant, not a problem, it deserves full marks! ! 👍🏼

I got the whole house but the share bath room it out door far away. Weather so cold (end of December) but heater from gas not warm enough.
