"Hotel overall facilities are dated but functional. Room noise insulation is poor. My room is located next to the lift, I can hear every guest exiting/entering the lift, not to mention traffic outside the hotel. Breakfast is decent. Overall great location, close proximity to Amman citadel. One major incident I experienced: My reservation is on 29/12-30/12. I arrived at the hotel around 9pm, after a five-hour drive in adverse weather, only to be told by Laith the front desk manager there was no record of my reservation and requested me to contact Trip.com to resolve. He showed me a different booking with my name made by Trip supplier Travco on 29/11-30/11. This is an obvious typo by Travco. The email communication is between Travco and Hotel Toledo. Shouldn’t the front desk contact Travco directly to resolve the issue instead of asking the customer to contact Trip? I understand the work flow is customer > Trip > Travco > Hotel Toledo. Asking the customer to contact Trip is going in circles and not the most efficient since mistake is by supplier Travco. Initially, Laith refused to accept it’s a typo and insisted the person with the same name as me has checked in on 29/11-30/11. Despite the circumstances and the obvious inconvenience, Laith chose to rigidly hide behind hotel policy, I was not allowed to check in unless I pay a deposit of 60 JD. I refused as I had already fully paid for the room. I was kept waiting at the reception for 1.5 hours while Laith reviewed the issue, which was eventually confirmed to be a typo made by the third-party agent Travco. Also Laith confirmed that 29/11-30/11 was a no show. An hour ago he mentioned the person has checked in on the above date was a lie. The mounting frustration was too much for me to bear. Yes, I raised my voice and created a scene. I mentioned from the start and repeated 5 times it’s a typo by Travco. Laith took 1.5 hour to accept. The final straw is audible verbal profanity from Laith himself (To Laith: I did not audibly mention profanity, it was up to what you interpret from my mouth). Laith threaten to call the police, citing I was creating a scene in the hotel. This behavior was unprofessional, unnecessarily confrontational, and unacceptable in a hospitality setting. It demonstrated a total lack of customer care. This is not a government office, Laith could have taken a softer approach to allow the guest to check in, while he proactively resolve with Travco, not asking guest to call Travco! Not debating about typo with guest! My reservation was fully paid and non-refundable, yet I was left standing at the reception for 1.5 hours due to errors made by Travco and decisions taken by Laith. The situation was mishandled from start to finish, and my frustration was a result of being forced to endure an unnecessary and avoidable ordeal. This was hospitality at its worst."

"The room is very spacious and located right next to a shopping mall. Be aware that there's only one entrance, which is right next to the mall's main entrance. If you're driving, pay close attention to this as Google Maps is inaccurate; there's no entrance facing the mainland side. Adib and Exxx (apologies, I forgot the name) from housekeeping were exceptional; they even brought a whole pack of water when asked. There are many restaurants nearby, including Korean, sushi, Chinese, and pubs. There's also an import supermarket not too far away, and another supermarket in the mall's basement if you can't find something specific. Plus, there's the best Chinese restaurant in town nearby."

"This hotel is excellent, top-notch in every aspect. It's clean and well-equipped. The car service is very convenient. The staff are incredibly warm and responsible, especially Manager Ahmad AlrawajFeh, who handled my check-in with exceptional professionalism. On the evening of the 12th, I arrived at the hotel by airport taxi without any cash. The driver only accepted cash, so I had to ask the hotel for help. The manager immediately informed me that there was an ATM in the hotel where I could withdraw cash. I then told him that the driver was demanding extra money as a tip. Upon hearing this, Manager Ahmad quickly assured me not to worry. He said I could withdraw money from the ATM, and he would help me with change so I could pay the driver the exact amount on the receipt. This saved me a lot of hassle. I am truly, truly grateful to him. Coming to a strange country alone, it was a huge relief to have a problem resolved so easily. Because of this experience, I now think Jordan is a wonderful country."

"The double room of the Youth Hostel, there are many toilets and showers on the same floor, very clean. The public area is very large, separated into multiple areas, with various small decorations, it looks very cute and warm. It should have been five-star praise, but unfortunately the water was cut off yesterday. It’s just that the water is cut off before taking a bath, you can wait and wash it again. But when the water came to wash, suddenly there was no water, so embarrassing. I don't know if this is normal or yesterday's luck was particularly bad."

The room was well-appointed, clean and comfortable, offering a great blend of modern amenities and a relaxing ambience. I particularly appreciated the quality of the bedding, which ensured a restful night's sleep. The housekeeping team did an exceptional job of maintaining the room throughout my stay. 🍪 “Warm Welcome & Comfort at DoubleTree by Hilton Amman” 🏨 I stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Amman from Wednesday to Thursday, and it was a short but truly pleasant experience. Right from check-in, the staff made me feel welcome with their signature warm chocolate chip cookie 🍪 — such a simple touch, but it set the tone for a great stay. 🛏️ The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was especially cozy after a long day, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and restful. 🍽️ I had the chance to try the breakfast buffet, which offered a wide variety of local and international choices. Fresh, flavorful, and plenty of options to start the day right. 📍 The location is convenient — close to restaurants, shops, and a good base to explore Amman. Most importantly, the hospitality of the staff stood out. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, attentive, and made sure my short stay was enjoyable. ⸻ 🌟 Highlights: • Signature warm cookie at check-in 🍪 • Clean, spacious, and comfortable room 🛌 • Delicious breakfast buffet with variety 🍳 • Friendly and professional staff 🤝 • Convenient central location 📍 ⸻ Overall, DoubleTree by Hilton Amman made my quick stay in the city very comfortable and welcoming. I’d definitely come back for a longer visit next time! #DoubleTreeAmman #HiltonHospitality #AmmanStay

This is a great budget hotel suite, fantastic location and a massive room with fridge TV and air conditioning including tea and coffee making facilities. The staff were friendly and at a very reasonable price. The hotel suite deserves a 5* rating because of the location which is close to all the amenities however the bathroom room was of poor standard and a lot of insects were flying around especially in the bathroom. The drains needed sorting out as on one night the smell was very strong at about 1am in the morning. This hotel claims to be wheelchair friendly but unfortunately it's only wheelchair friendly if you are not travelling alone. I phoned the hotel on two occasions before arriving to inquire about facilities for wheelchair users and was told I can enter the hotel via a ramp used for luggage but unfortunately the ramp was very steep although they did offer to help me when needed. I also wasn't informed that the dining room was not accessible although there was a lift to the bedroom. They were kind enough to bring the breakfast to my room although it was tasteless. There was a ladies long hair on the bedsheet and the cleaning of the room could be improved. I do hope the management will take my advice and publish the correct information regarding facilities for wheelchair users especially for those who are traveling on their own like myself.
