"The hotel was conveniently located near the station, which made it very useful for my stay in Genoa. The staff were kind and helpful, and I appreciated that they kept my luggage after check-out. The room was simple but had everything I needed for a short stay. The area around the station may require some attention at night, but overall it was a practical and comfortable place to stay."

"We had a very comfortable stay and really enjoyed the hotel. A great bonus was being able to use the amenities of the neighboring 5-star hotel. The location is perfect, right next to the Genova train station.
The only minor issue was the beautiful antique elevator, which was not always reliable because the doors had to be closed manually, and some guests did not do this properly, which occasionally meant the elevator would not work and we had to take the stairs instead.
Overall, a great experience and we would happily stay again."

"Excellent welcome in a beautiful establishment in a place withdrawn from the surrounding hills.
Comfortable and well equipped room with quiet and clean

GGuest UserThe appearance of the hotel was very good. The reception area was very clean and quiet. Each floor had an automatic air freshener which meant that the hotel smelt very good. The hotel room had a lovely big bed which was very comfortable. There was a fridge and kettle in the room.
The hotel was a twenty minute bus ride from the center of Genoa and once we had downloaded the app it was very easy to buy tickets. The number 1 bus is a couple of minutes walk from the hotel and the bus is every 11 minutes.
We discovered a lovely area to eat on the day we left. Leave the hotel and turn right. At the traffic lights turn right . After about three minutes you will find a shopping area with restaurants. We were short of time so went to Tumbler. The staff were very friendly and we had lovely panini.
On the negative side, we were woken at 6am with a male shouting very loudly in his room. Later that day, the man was shouting again. I went outside our room and the man was shouting very loudly at a lady in his room. There was a very clear domestic abuse situation with the man hitting the woman which I tried to stop and also contacted reception. Reception asked the lady if there was any problem and she said no so the receptionist left. I said to the receptionist that the man was being violent towards the woman and she said there was nothing they could do. I asked if they could put security on the floor in case anything further happened and she said no. I felt the receptionist could have done a lot more in this situation. I imagine that these situations do occur from time to time so the hotel should give staff guidance on the steps to take to safeguard clients.
I felt that the staff at the hotel were not very welcoming. I saw at least four receptionist and not one of them smiled or looked happy to be working. Any time I approached them for information they gave the information but without smiling and were very unenthusiastic..
I would stay at the hotel again as it is convenient for the airport and quieter than staying in the centre. It is also very clean and I got a good night's sleep.
Be aware, we booked a taxi from the airport which is 1.1 km away and we're charged 18,50 euros.

GGuest UserOnce we got checked in we were extremely happy. We love everything about the place! The problem was communication with Trip.com and the hotel beforehand. Trip.com sent an email saying the property does not have a front desk, and to contact the property for detailed instructions on how to check in.
It provided this email to contact the property: ************************************************
When I sent an email to that address I got a reply in Chinese. When translated, it said they did not have my reservation, and to provide booking number & check in/out dates. I sent that information several times, and always got the same automated reply re-asking for booking number and dates. I finally called Trip.com, who contacted the property. They immediately replied, giving me the information I asked for, and telling me they do have someone at the front desk until 5 pm. Their message came from a completely different email address. I suspect that the email provided in the Trip.com message was incorrect. This added a lot of undue stress to what should have been a simple straightforward communication.

Amazing
TTrip LOVERssThis is the best hotel I had ever stayed in Europe. It is an old historical building and all interiors had been renovated. The best part is they had kept a historical lift and overall interiors was beautifully arranged.
Location is 5-stars because this hotel is only 6 minutes walk to train station and 10 minutes to central area.
Amenities is also 5-stars because this hotel offers a FULL minibar of drinks including two bottles of water, two pop drinks, one bottle of juice and peanuts and they are all free of charge. Shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, soap and shower cap are fully provided.
Cleanliness is also 5-stars. We had messed up the room with two big full luggages of things and the housekeroinh had helped us to tuck in our two luggages under the window sill
Seevuxe is also 5-stars. We bought two bottles of wines and they provided us with wine glasses and cork with great service. Also it was our first time in Genova, the receptionist had detailedly explained which area we should go and how to go.
Overall, it is the best hotel i had stayed so far.

Amazing
PPanozzoI stayed at the Best Western Hotel Nazionale in Sanremo and could not have wished for a better experience.
The location is simply perfect: right on Corso Matteotti, just steps away from the famous Teatro Ariston and the sea.
The property is elegant and well-maintained in every detail. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and offered the comfort you would expect from a true 4-star hotel. Breakfast, served on the top floor with a spectacular view of the sea and city center, was one of the highlights of my stay: fresh products, a wide selection, and impeccable service.
A special thank you to the entire staff, who were exceptionally kind and professional—always ready to fulfill every request with a smile. A particular mention to the reception team, quick and extremely helpful with information and recommendations about the city.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to experience Sanremo at its best: unbeatable location, excellent comfort, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home.
I will definitely be back!

GGuest UserThe staff at Hotel al Sant’Andrea were TOP NOTCH! Very kind, informative, and always greeted us with a smile! The breakfast was basic but delicious and we always left full. The rooms were very basic and a bit run down but the beds were very comfortable. The rooms kind of felt like a dorm room to me. A/C worked well. Rooms were big for European hotel rooms (I’m Canadian and used to very large hotel rooms). The shower was very small but for only a 2 night stay it wasn’t a big deal. There was a mini fridge that actually kept items cold! I find hotel mini fridges are usually subpar. The location wasn’t ideal for us because the train station was a 15 minute walk away but if you are driving, location wouldn’t be an issue. We did not explore Sarzana, this was used as a home base to explore Cinque Terre, and for the price, I believe this hotel is worth it.

直直線拉升The worst Novotel I've ever stayed in, bar none. The space was acceptable and the service was enthusiastic, but the stains on the towels and sheets seemed to have never been changed. Since I was driving from southern Italy to southern France as a stopover, the location was very convenient for me, close to the highway exit.

RRagazziWe stayed at this beautiful hotel for the first time with our two children. We booked two rooms, both offering a stunning view of the sea. The atmosphere is charming and naturally elegant, enhanced by the historic character of the building. The staff was friendly and supportive throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of both international and local options. The beach is just across the street, only a two-minute walk, which was perfect for us. We also appreciated the hotel’s convenient parking, located just outside the building. The swimming pool with its bar was a highlight—an ideal spot to relax and enjoy an aperitif before dinner. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that we would be happy to repeat in the future.

GGuest UserWhen we arrived, the room was already very warm. It was about 30°C outside, even at 9:00 PM, and unfortunately the air conditioning was not working. I couldn’t get it to start, so the room remained very hot during the night. The room furnishings also felt quite old-fashioned. Apart from that, the receptionist was very kind and helpful.
