The front staff were not friendly, and there was very little warmth or hospitality. Even though our room was already ready, they were very strict about only allowing check-in after 3pm, which made things inconvenient—especially for families travelling with children or elderly. 🏨 Room Condition The hotel is quite old, and it shows. • The room had a noticeable old smell when we entered. • The toilet wasn’t very clean, and water leaked out into the room area, which was uncomfortable and unsafe for kids. • Overall, the upkeep and cleanliness were not at the standard we expected. 🏊 Facilities We went to the pool area but found no staff at the pool counter, which made it difficult to request towels or assistance. The pool area itself is decent, but the lack of staff presence made it feel unmanaged. 📍 Location The hotel is in a convenient central area, close to malls and food outlets, which is the main positive point. ⸻ ⭐ Overall Rating: 2.8/5 Aryaduta Pekanbaru has potential because of its location and brand, but the hospitality, cleanliness, and maintenance need significant improvement. "Spacious room and complete set-up, free access to facilities like pool, steam and sauna. The location is near restaurants and local shops, across the road is Alfamart. They have buffet breakfast and the staffs are kind, helpful and happy!"

"There is some upgrade on their tv’s, near wingstop. Would be great if deposit can be paid by card, so you guys didn’t need to tell us, the customer, to get the cash from ATM’s outside the hotel. Just imagine, you came across the island, come to hotel, and sent back to outside just to get a money for deposit? Fr dude"

"The room service was excellent that day. My child has a dust allergy, so when I asked to borrow a vacuum cleaner, the room service attendant who was cleaning the next room offered me an air purifier. My child was fine until morning, no more sneezing."

"There is a late fine from the hotel if you check out later than 12 noon... There is no notification about that, because when you check in... and the FO is at 11 o'clock, they also don't tell you the check out time limit if there is a fine of 100 thousand per hour... by me. take 2 more rooms😠😩😫"

"Good environment with nice breakfast. The rooftop lounge is good for hangouts with full city view. Room is spacious. One thing to be improved would be the soundproof feature for the room is not available, with audible noises from your neighbour and the bell ringing sound. Otherwise, the bed is comfortable, as well as, water pressure & temperature are just nice."
