Amazing well-located hotel that exudes the old world charm. Fascinating story about how it started (It was built for passengers of the Orient Express in 1925), Well appointed room with good facilities and a nice selection of TV channels globally. It features several fine-dining restaurant and bistro. One day we had breakfast at Le Bistro before leaving for the airport. It took one of the dishes a bit longer to come in and unexpectedly the restaurant waived the bill for us. It’s a very thoughtful gesture.

After our Uber dropped us off at the front of the hotel, we were immediately greeted by a bellman to assist with our luggage. Honestly, next to Istanbul, the best Reception Desk we've encountered in our travels. Those first impressions are so important; truly top-notch service in this regard. The hotel is super clean, nicely decorated, elevators are very efficient, rooms are large for Europe, beds are comfy, and toiletries are of excellent quality. We stayed an additional three nights in this hotel to do some touring on our own prior to meeting our Avalon tour group. Our breakfast experience during that time was quite literally outstanding. There is a breakfast menu that you can order eggs essentially any way you like them, and you are promptly asked for your coffee order. The service those first three days was amazing. The buffet area has practically anything and everything you could possibly want for breakfast including some sparkly. Now, for the bad news, and the reason I had to downgrade this hotel from ”excellent” to ”very good.” We had an additional night with Avalon (so 4 nights total) at this hotel. On the last morning, the breakfast area was quite literally mayhem, and I eventually only saw ONE waiter. Was there a server strike that day??? Throngs of people stood at the buffet area looking into EMPTY serving dishes and trays. If this had been the one and only experience that I had at breakfast, I would have more than likely wrote a less than average review of this hotel. To be fair, our experience before our Avalon group, which consisted of around 140 people AND another tour group arriving for breakfast at approximately the SAME time, demonstrated that this hotel is ill-equipped to handle that many people in the breakfast area at one time. The hotel should be much better prepared and work with these agencies in staggering breakfast times while also staffing appropriately for the volume of guests eating breakfast. I am not making an understatement when I say our last breakfast was an absolute disaster. Also, I realize this is Europe, but is it too much to ask for people who smoke to not do so at the front door? The dining area is open, and the smoke filters through the entire lobby area over into the dining area. For non-smokers, this is intrusive. Overall, we enjoyed our stay overall, just not the last morning.

The hotel is particularly exquisite. No matter the facilities, services, dining, etc., it is very attentive and the details are very good! The decoration style of the room is very consistent with my aesthetic. I will recommend it to more friends! The hotel is located in Buda, Budapest. It is very convenient to the Fisherman's Bastion, the Royal Palace, and the Elizabeth Bridge. Next door is a large shopping mall, which is very convenient for shopping and dining. There is a park downstairs, and it is especially comfortable to walk in the morning and evening! Stayed for many days in a row!

This place appears to be a bit of a somewhat well- worn kitschy relic of the Soviet era-not a negative at all. The lobby has a bunch of intriguing items that one would never see in the West. Room/bathroom were quite spacious & spartan-no issues. Only thing needed to be a 5 star review is just a basic mini-fridge as while this is close to the main bus station, it is pretty far from everything else including restaurants & grocery stores so one needs to stock up on beverages, etc. when one is not out and about. Overall, good deal for a budget hotel particularly for solo travelers like myself.

Stayed here 2 nights on our way from Copenhagen, Denmark to Dubrovnik, Croatia. At arrival we were greeted by an efficient and professional receptionist. We’d not been sure about parking facilities but it turned out to be the best possible. Just by the hotel with easy entrance directly to the hotel elevator. And the offered charging for electric cars! 16 euros pr night (excluding charging of course). Our room was on the 19th floor with amazing view over the city. The bed was super comfortable and the air conditioning extremely silent but efficient. It was also possible to open the windows for fresh air during the nights. The pool on the top floor was quite crowded the day we arrived but looked very nice and on the second day it actually rained so we missed to try it out. But we did take advantage of the fitness facilities that. Are pretty decent for a hotel standard.

El hotel esta muy bien ubicado .Cerca del centro de la ciudad (veinte minutos andando y en linea recta) por lo que no tiene perdida La habitacion en la que me hospede ,era limpia, igua lde limpio el cuarto de baño ,silenciosa , y buenas vistas al exterior.El desayuno muy bueno.Al igual que la cena (que en mi caso fue bufet libre)

A nice hotel in an ideal location (20 minutes walk from the airport terminal bus station, across the road from the train station, and 200 metres from the tram station). A very comfortable bed, soft pillows, and warm environment. A tasty breakfast.

From even before the moment I arrived at this property, I was well looked after. Transfer from the airport to hotel was taken care of and perfect. Check in easy. View lovely. Housekeeping accommodating. Wonderful Malin+Goetz products, along with bedside lavender balm. And the pillows! Evening service (water and a chocolate) delivered with a smile. Restaurant and bar staff so lovely and all with great memories of what you had and may want again. Room service timely. Everyone here has a welcoming smile. This hotel also benefits from a great location. Fitness/pool with perfect early-morning and late-day hours (until 10:30) are a big help to guests who are busy during business hours. Have felt well looked after and will return.

Everything is nice except the fact that this is the first hotel that I've been to that the housekeeping came by so early. They will leave a note by the door saying that you are supposed to contact the receptionist to ask for them to clean (everyday if you miss them). Which is what I did, but then one day they still didn't come by and clean (not sure why). I think the system could have been better by maybe having two side of door note so the housekeeping will also know if you want your room to be cleaned or not. The rest I can't really complain, breakfast spread is good. Location wise is a bit off but walkable to tram stops, again depending on where you are heading to.

The President of Turkey was visiting at the same time and although some side streets were closed we eventually arrived to the garage. This did not affect the service of the staff as they were just as helpful as usual. The decor of the hotel is very attractive and the room was very clean. The breakfast is amazing with a huge selection of breakfast foods as well as cooked items, cakes, vegetables, etc. You can be reassured if an item is left in the room from your trip it will be taken to the from office and reported. We forgot our passports and my jewelry in the safe only to discover them when we tried to check in Rovinj. The front office had tried to call us however we did not have service driving over the mountain. We returned to pick them up and everything was accounted there. What an awesome hotel!

We forgot our passports and my jewelry in the safe only to discover them when we tried to check in Rovinj. This was a very cheap option for an airport hotel. I needed to be picked up from the airport and then dropped back off early the day morning. I didnt have the correct details for arranging to be picked up, so rang the number I had and was then texted another one to call. They came an collected me very promptly. The hotel is odd, it was dark when I arrived but it seems to be in a residential area, my room was like an oven and the heating didn't switch off so I had to have the 2 large ground floor windows open all night, which isn't really ideal. The bathroom was very cold as there was no heat in there. The shower which appeared to be one of those fancy spa type ones, was not connected up fully so I only had access to a hand held shower which isn't very good if you want to wash your hair, as you need 2 hands. The shower doors came off the runner, and the water did not drain away from the shower tray for about 15 minutes after I had finished. I had to stop showering quicker tahn I wanted or it would have flooded. I do not know about the restaurant as I took my own food with me. I was dropped off at the airport promptly at the time that I arranged. I think ”cheap and cheerful” would describe this place.

A nice hotel for an overnight stay. They have a map to take a walking tour of the area, but I wasn't there long enough to do it.

I was on a layover during my trip and had a night's rest. The room was enough for two people. It was very convenient to wash your face and take a shower with hot water. There was a hairdryer and a few clothes hangers, and it was relatively quiet when sleeping at night. Hygiene is also clean. The guy at the front desk is also very enthusiastic. Just lack of disposable slippers, it is not easy to relax your feet. I wonder if local hotels don’t provide slippers? The overall feeling is good, right?

(No great surprise as it is a 2pm onwards check in) The lovely Lucy on reception gave me a complimentary cold beer to drink outside whilst I sat in the sun waiting for my room. Within 10 minutes my room was ready. The room was immaculate. One of the cleanest hotel rooms I’ve stayed in. Housekeeping do a very thorough job. Very comfy beds, good quality linen & great walk in shower. Comp shower gel & soaps. The drinks in the bar were very reasonable. Great service. The breakfast was adequate. Something for everyone & the staff were very accommodating to my partners special egg requests! The best thing about this hotel though was the front of house staff. The lovely Lucy & the equally lovely Marta. An asset to the hotel. They couldn’t have been more helpful & always with a smile. Paid E25 in a taxi from the airport. Big rip off. Uber was a third of that. About a 20 min car drive into central Zegreb or there’s a bus stop 100 yards down the street & the hotel is either the first or last stop depending which way you’re travelling! Big Spar hyper market a few mins walk away. My only negative point is that there’s a little area at the back. Such a shame it’s not been made into a better garden area.

If you need an overnight stay before your flight, this is the perfect place for you. Tidy, clean. You can count on keeping your car while you're on the way. the transfer from the hotel to the airport and after your return is carried out by the hotel staff, they are extremely responsible and punctual and you do not have to wait for them. The price of accommodation and car storage is extremely favorable, and in order to leave the car you do not have to use the accommodation. My husband and I have used it several times both services and are always consistent.
