"A very good hotel to stay when travelling with kids. We were given an amazingly large room. The roof top breakfast bar was amazing, in terms of the view and food.
Note: Another family who booked with us (with just 1 kid), for a slightly cheaper price, were given a much smaller, shabbier room with ground floor breakfast options which was not too good. So make sure you have clarity on that before confirming the booking."

"The room was spacious enough for a family of three with three pieces of luggage. However, the shower pressure was a bit weak. It's about a 10-minute walk from Evangelismo metro station, and the path is flat with no slopes, so it's easy to pull luggage."

"Boss Boutique Hotel is perfectly located right at the centre of Athens, making it very convenient to explore the city. đŹđˇâ¨ The food was very nice, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The hotel is also budget-friendly, which made our stay even better.

"Lovely smaller style hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Room and bathroom immaculately clean. I booked a delux double room. Pleasant roof top bar with Acropolis view, perfect for sunset cocktails. Omonia Station about 300m walk, Monastiraki and Plaka about 1km walk both great for shopping and flea markets. Train from Omonia goes to Acropolis and Monastiraki. Quiet neighbourhood, bit rough around the edges but nothing too sketchy. Would stay again."

"The hotel was generally clean, and the location was convenient. However, I was disappointed with the way my room request was handled.
During the reservation process, there was a section for special requests. I specifically requested a room on one of the upper floors. Despite this, I was assigned a room on the 1st floor, even though the hotel has 19 floors. It seemed that my request had been completely ignored.
I politely asked if it would be possible to move to a higher floor. Instead of offering any flexibility, I was told that I would need to pay an additional âŹ50 or upgrade my booking. Considering that my entire stay cost only around âŹ100, asking for an extra 50% of the room price just to move to a higher floor felt excessive and unreasonable.
If requests for higher-floor rooms are only available for an additional fee, this should be clearly stated during the booking process. Otherwise, the âspecial requestsâ section creates expectations that are not actually honored.
Overall, the hotel itself was decent, but this experience with customer service left a negative impression. I hope the hotel will handle guest requests more fairly in the future."

"Located in the heart of Athens between Akropolis and Syntagma Square it is in a perfect location to cultural explore, go for shopping as well as arrange business meetings. Many restaurants and coffee places, all in walking distance. Main reason to choose Elia Ermou was the room size as it is 20+ sqm, and it has a parking garage in the same building. Further to mention is the nice roof top restaurant in the 7th floor with terrace and Akropolis view. One minor issue to mention is if a little more silence is required a room on the higher floors and not on the Ermou side might be the better choiceâŚ

"The hotel is an overall nice hotel in a very nice area, surrounded by quite a few good restaurants. The staff is amazing and always ready to help. However, the rooms have pretty old furniture, almost zero electricity plugs in the room (and the one next to my bed stopped working the second day).Ii would recommend putting a normal hairdryer in every room instead of the old wall-hairdryer that's in the bathroom, it is inconvenient to use (gets very hot) and it is very slow. "

I read the word of mouth and knew that the facilities were old, so it was within the acceptable range at all. After all, the cost performance was good.
It was good that slippers were prepared.
There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby, so I didn't have any trouble during my stay.
I didn't go to the rooftop bar, but the view looked good.

AAlexandraI traveled to Athens for a business reason. The room was in the center, spacious near shops for coffee and food. It provides paid parking right next to it, so you don't have to look for a place. The service is amazing and the staff is very kind!! I would definitely choose it again!!!

SSarah JanesThis place is quite unusual. My room was upgraded so that I had a suite over two floors, with a small private pool on another lower level. Absolutely every convenience had been considered, some extras might verge on overkill (bog roll tied up with a ribbon for example).
The room looked amazing on first inspection, but I quite quickly realised the smell of the pool was so strong it stung my eyes, and the sound of the ventilation unit was quite a roar. There was only one small openable window on the mezzanine level next to the bed and I had to sleep with that open as wide as possible.
Bed was extremely comfortable, I had to turn off the pool ventilator unit in the middle of the night because it kept waking me up, but once I had done that and the smell of baking bread entered the room from a bakery down the road I slept like a log.
Staff were really nice and friendly, but they are working with quite difficult circumstances and perhaps unnecessarily. The kitchen is on the bottom floor and breakfast is served on the 5th floor roof (from which you can see the Parthenon) breakfast is a little awkward as you get a huge wicker basket 𧺠full of food plus crepes, plus omelette, plus tuna sandwich, a whole baguette (some more little ribbons), and I am not sure anyone can eat as much as is provided, and the server had to keep travelling up and down in the one person elevator. Probably would be better to ask guests what they would like to have for breakfast out of the options available and have a coffee/tea station upstairs. There is the option to take lunch in your room - for which the picnic basket concept makes a lot more sense.
Seems like there should be a way to make the place feel more efficient and common sensible. I did get the feeling that they might have only just opened and are finding their feet, so I hope this review will be useful - certainly was a generous accommodation and staff are working very hard to make sure guests have the best possible experience.

GGuest UserVery clean apartment with wonderful views, bed was very comfortable, tea and coffee facilities in the room and a tv. The breakfast was varied and filling with excellent service. The staff were friendly and very helpful with a taxi service which was superb. We would definitely return for a lovely, quiet relaxing stay. It is a littleâout of the wayâ but definitely worth the stay .

Location: Outside of âcentralâ Athens but easily connected by metro & buses. Kifisia is gorgeous, safe, filled with high end boutiques, restaurants + cafes.
Room/Ambience: Hotel itself is stunning + very relaxing vibe. Decor details incredible as expected of a boutique hotel of this nature.Â
Food: Very good selection of hot + cold, plus actual barista coffee. Do not expect American style breakfast - this is Europe after all. We did not eat lunch or dinner but the menus looked great and was filled with locals in the evening.
Service: Although reception staff were sufficiently friendly, service very lacking for a high end boutique hotel. It was 26 degrees celsius every day while in Athens. Not prior to our stay, nor during check-in did anyone advise us that the pool was closed likely until end of May. This is not advertised on any booking platform, or on the hotel website, which was very disappointing. We sat in the pool lounge chairs for over two hours (staff saw us as the restaurant is immediately adjacent). Nobody offered us pool towels to lie on, or if we wanted to order any drinks or food. My partner had to get dressed, go to reception and ask. They didnât even offer to clean the pool given the hot weather made it ready for use. It really put a downer on our stay, and why we opted not to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. Similar experience at breakfast; nobody offered us coffee orders, we heard someone else order and realised it was available.

The metro station is just a minute's walk away, or you can enjoy a pleasant 20-30 minute stroll to the Plaka district, where all attractions are then within easy reach. Right outside the metro station, you'll find a shopping center featuring a charming rooftop cafe. It's an ideal spot to unwind with a coffee while enjoying a fantastic view, including the Acropolis in the distance. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Additionally, near the entrance, there's a display with various brochures to help you explore Athens.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located across the road from the airport terminal and adjacent to the enclosed walkway (bridge) to the Airport Train Station. From the Departure floor, you go downstairs to the Arrival level and exit Door 3 and walk across the road towards Sofitel⌠However, it can be a problem if it is a rainy day⌠I think the hotel should include instructions and a walking map from the terminal and also to and from train station..

GGuest UserOur first trip to Europe, so there were things that I imagine are very European. Tiny elevators and key card access to power your room were a first for us. We were only there for one night before leaving on a cruise, but overall I was very happy with our stay. The front desk check in was excellent and the breakfast spread was outstanding. The loud returning guest at 1:30 in the morning were the only irritant, and that was bad guests and not the hotels fault.
