Anonymous UserFantastic location right in the city center, just behind the Old Market. It's a quick 5-minute walk to the castle and the Robinson statue. There's a bus stop right downstairs, making it super easy to get to the train station. The room was clean and tidy, and the mattress was comfortable, not too soft or too firm. They even had a Nespresso machine with coffee pods! My only minor complaints are that the facilities are a bit dated and the room is on the smaller side. The breakfast was a good English continental spread with a nice variety, especially plenty of fresh fruit, and you could order freshly made eggs or omelets. Service was excellent, and both check-in and check-out were quick. They even offer free apples in the lobby, though the air freshener scent in the lobby felt a bit cheap. Overall, great value for money, much cheaper than London with bigger rooms, better facilities, and a superior breakfast.

I stayed at Clumber Park for three nights as a single business traveller.
The hotel has average amenities and is generally tidy, though the furniture and décor feel basic and dated. The bedroom carpet was heavily stained, although the room itself was clean and had everything I needed for my stay - it was essentially just a base for a few days.
I didn’t use the spa facilities, so I can’t comment on this aspect.
Food in the lounge was average.
I requested additional towels during my stay, but unfortunately they never arrived and there were only one set of pillow cases on the pillows on the bed.
On a positive note, the staff were polite and friendly, and the location is excellent with convenient parking.

Guest UserMedium.
Even canceledl the second day booking the day before for urgency still couldn't get any refund. So the room will be perfectly available on the second day for anyone to take and the hotel still charged you full price.
Towel in bathroom has brown stain on it. No idea what was that.
Quite at night, breakfast is nice.

AnthonyGW71Good location only few minutes walk from the tram and local buses.
Quite but I was there on a weekday not sure about the noise level on weekends as next to music venue.
Very clean inside and out. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, always willing to help.
The room, is nice and compact. Love having the little kitchenette to hand, especially storing chilled good and heating up food in the microwave. The shower is large so easy to move away. Comfortable bed. Pillows are too soft. Tv not easy to connect to Internet to use steaming service. So just ended up using my own devices.
The heating system is rubbish as it needs to be turned on by the reception desk. As there wasn' anyone picking up the phone had to waste my time going to the desk in my night robe. The Black out curtain made it very easy to have a restful sleep.
I do enjoy this accommodate and I will return again.

Guest UserWasn't impressed at all with the room I was given as it was designed for a physically disabled person which I'm not. There were a few issues with the bathroom.
I left the room earlier than anticipated due to feeling uncomfortable. I explained my stay at reception where I was told you will receive a email from management, I didn't receive anything.

Terrence@middlewichTraveling with a group of six, we booked two rooms, each with two double beds. The rooms were decent, and the bathroom and toilet were ideal, with shampoo and shower gel provided. However, the middle of the beds sagged quite a bit. It felt like a minor issue while sleeping, but I woke up with severe back pain.

A lovely place. We we're a bit iffy on sraying due to the rating of the hotel but after reading the reviews most were about the rooms being dated. Since we were only planning to be there for a night, who cares?
There was an issue with the booking from Trip.com's side which the duty manager Declan was able to resolve in a timely mannor while also making the wait very pleasant with some nice chat.
The staff were lovely, including the two young ladys on the bar/food service as well as Declan. Unfortunately didnt get the girls names.
The building is stunning and surrounded by lovely woods, perfect for a walk.
Rooms are a bit dated, sure, but why are you looking to spend all your time in your room? More than enough to have a comfy sleep in.
Also as a side note on that, id imagine It's a listed building and so hard an expensive to update.
Overall a lovely night and a pleasant morning having breakfast then a walk. Absolutely would recommend.

Superb staff, great parking. Very clean. Lovely bed. Only issue was no bathroom fan and I don't like the overhead showers as I don't like my head & hair getting drenched unless I choose to.
