"I find that the room design is a bit outdated. It was spacious and the terrace is a nice touch. The air conditioning wasn't working very well and it was hot in the room. The bathroom is clean and the water is hot and has good pressure.
The breakfast is plentiful but the need to order the hot plates and it takes a while to come. I would suggest making them available on the hot trays. Another thing that was weird was the custom tongs each table had, then we had to use them to get the food. I would much rather have one tong on each tray so everyone uses them, I believe it's much more hygienic and practical."

"The Hotel Castilla Termal Solares had a lot of high expectation, but compared to other hotels in the same chain, the Burgo de Osma and Olmedo, which I have gone, there is a lot of difference in maintenance and storage and facilities such as The one of Olmedo had an outdoor thermal pool and more conservated.In summary, the Solares depends on the room you choose for example a standard, it has very small television and in Olmedo the same category had better television, and generally a higher equal small and old television that you have nor to put Netflix. Breakfast is very well as others.Finally my rating would give you 7/10."

The cafe bar offers some Thai cuisine. They are yummy but very small portions. Me and my husband ordered 3 main courses but were still hungry. We wanted to order the 4th course ”Style Thai beef wok” with an additional bowl of rice and we'd pay for the rice. However the waitress refused simply because a bowl of rice is not on the menu! I suggest the hotel to remove the Style Thai beef wok from the menu if they're not able to provide a bowl of rice to go with it. This is authentic Thai style of eating! Very disappointed ! The cafe service need to improve, too rigid, not customer oriented."

GGuest UserThe appartment has a stunning view of the fields. It's very quiet and clean. The large king size bed is super comfortable. ensuite jacuzzi is wonderful. However it's completely isolated from the main hotel so we need to go outdoor for breakfast, restaurant and check out. It's a bit of huzzle because it rained heavily when we checked out. It's hard to manage all luggage, bin bag and umbrella at the same time. Although the appartment room rate is much higher than Hotel Spa Villa, we had less service and amenities. For example, housekeeping was not included so we need to throw our bin bag to the collection point outdoor by ourselves. Hence the Thermal pools are much smaller than Spa villa and was more crowed than a public pool especially during weekend when there were many families and kids. All kids liked to use the adult pools rather than their kid's pool! Not value for money. We requested pack breakfast at 7am on the check out day because we had early flight. One of the staff refused and said they had to follow the restaurant time table which are 8-11am. We asked another lady, Rachel, the next day and she was very kind and helpful, she communicated with the cafe and arranged pack breakfast with egg, coffee, water and fruits for us at 7am. Rachel is wonderful and the hotel need more staff like her who offered the best customer service.

GGuest UserLovely small hotel. In a great location. 10 mins walk to Old Town. 25 mins to beach. Bus stops directly outside the hotel which is very useful.
There are some lovely restaurants and bars within a 5 min walk. I can strongly recommend The Magnolia restaurant 10/10. Some of the best food I've ever had in Spain and a beautiful setting. Book in advance and ask for top terrace. Superb.
The hotel pool is small but big enough to cool down in.
There is no bar or restaurant in the hotel but breakfast and drinks are provided in your room. A nice touch. You also get a glass of cava while you get booked in. Miroslava ( Mexican) was great. She couldn't be more helpful.
The only down side was the room design. The reading lights are too low. If you want to read in bed the only place for the pillows is over the lights. Totally impracticable and very uncomfortable 😕

GGuest UserThis was a wonderful hotel! It was very clean and the location was amazing. It’s literally on the beach and it’s such a clean and popular beach. The restaurant served limited food but what we ordered was delicious. The breakfast was good but the lady that was working at breakfast was very abrupt and made you feel uncomfortable. I would also prefer a kettle in my room but of course I understand it takes you to the restaurant.The shower was strange as it didn’t have a door or curtain and no option of having the shower hooked up so you had to hold it. The weather was on the cool side and didn’t rise above 24 degrees but it was warm at times I’m at night so I would assume it could get uncomfortable in heights of summer.

I do feel to pay an additional car parking charge of 15 euros in their underground garage area is frankly an unnecessary extra for hotel guests… parking in the surrounding streets is difficult. Food was just ordinary if a little overpriced, my Veal Entrecôte was mostly good but in parts tough and chewy, chips nothing outstanding, my advice would be to eat out at the many excellent restaurants in the adjoining street. Overall a good four star accommodation but restaurant is lacking due to average food and pricing just on the verge of being to high for what you get.

GGuest UserLOVELY and beautiful hotel WITH A GREAT BUFFETT BREAKFAST FOR A GOOD PRICE. IT OVER EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. Ana, Antonio and Son's have a wonderful way to treat their clientela. And Merce, the head housekeeper is always on the look to assistance you with whatever your needs are. She's absolutely the best, a real asset to this corporation. My only suggestion is to install safety bars in the bathrooms. But it's a great place to stay, whether itsolo or with fanily .family . Young children will enjoy the swing set on the beautiful garden

MMan WahThe hotel is located near the city center and it takes about 13 minutes to reach the seaside, which is very convenient. The hotel has unique design and novel appearance. It is located in a residential area and the surrounding environment is not impressive. It is far away from the beach area, but there are public buses to get there, but the fare is more expensive. One trip is already 1.3 euros. Santander taxi is even more expensive, at least 25 euros from the hotel to the airport. The breakfast food at the hotel is of good quality and highly recommended. I stayed for 2 days and went to the city center to visit the beach every day and had seafood lunch and dinner. It was very comfortable and convenient.

GGuest UserJust the most beautiful hotel in the most outstanding location. The views were breathtaking. Alex and Rocio were so welcoming and warm. Rocio made us a vegan cake and Alex went out of his way to buy veggie burgers for us when we found out we were vegetarians. I would 100% recommend this magical place. About a 20 minute drive to Potes, the historical, Muy bonito town.
